✓ Premium unsupportedHave been using the app and had a premium subscription for several years. This past year, I paid for the subscription but am not getting any of the premium features. Have sent several emails with no response or support. Save your money and use another app if you need more than the free features..Version: 5.2.21

✓ Gone BadThis used to be one of my favorite apps. But the quality and useful information has gone downhill. Even though I’ve paid for a premium membership I still get ads. The worst part is the developer is totally non-responsive. No email is ever answered and the support link on the App Store page is a 404. I will be canceling my membership after the current term. I wish the app still worked well and I have recommended it many times in the past, but at this point I just cannot..Version: 5.2.21
✓ IPhone XRUsed this app for a long time on my previous iPhone model (6) upgraded to iPhone XR and app seems incompatible. Basically freezes as soon as you open it, and just shuts off a minute or so after that. Have tried delete/reinstall, updating my IOS, turning WiFi on/off, restarting phone, etc basically everything. Just does not work. Am being forced to use a different app. Would have given it a much better rating if it worked. My family downloaded it on their iPhones (I think both members have iPhone 8? ✓ Best of the bunch but has slid backwards in qualityI’ve tried about 6 or 7 ship finder apps and this one is by far the best one but, as stated in the title, the quality has slid recently. One downside to the app is if the app quits working after an update to iOS or app itself the developers are very slow fixing the problem. Docked one star because of obnoxious full-screen animated ads that blast out sound. I don't object to ads in principle - the app is free, so the developer has to make a buck somehow. ✓ Won’t work on my iPhoneWhen I first used this app, it was very helpful and timely. Since last year, it only works on my iPad. It won’t even show any maps on my phone. Since my phone is an XR, with the latest updates, I’m pretty sure that’s not the issue. I have deleted and reloaded it multiple times, in an attempt to get the program back. I have purchased the premium option for my iPad, in the hopes it will work as I deal with meeting boats in various places for delivery and pickup. Please revamp it for iPhones. ✓ Not showing updatesI very much appreciate being able to follow the vessel when there is hardly any communication for weeks and months at a time. I would give this app 5 stars, however, I have noticed there are times that it will not show the update or refresh. For example, I know the vessel I’m tracking left yesterday and it’s still showing it at at port with yesterday’s date, along with other ships around it. ✓ Great but some issuesI love this app helps me check to see if my boyfriend is safe while he’s out working on boat out of state. Only problem is it would often have some glitches for example it would show a few days old dated or not constantly up to date on those ships and whereabouts are. ✓ Worked great. Bought app now wont see any ships in my locationI loved this app. I look onto Kailua bay i. Kailua Kona Hawaii and wonder which cruise ship is sitting there. Up till a couple months ago this would tell me. I bought the app many months ago to add these ships to my log. Now i can see a ship sitting there but this app say no ships found. ✓ Worked great two years agoFirst downloaded few years ago. It worked better than the AIS on my laptop. Now boats are in the same position for several days. When trying to find our customers along the Mississippi River for time management it get frustrating to say the least. ✓ Second review, this app is only good to take your moneyWhere should I start? I deleted the app and then tried to reinstall but app never loads. Prior to delete, vessel I was tracking has been in one port for three weeks and the app showed it in another port 300 miles away. Again, the Captain has told me that the vessels AIS system is functioning properly. It really is fraud by the developer. He either is not smart enough to make this app work, or it is like a Nigerian Prince scam to take your money. Who is going to complain about loosing $4.95? ✓ Does not update for hoursThe app does not always provide real time updates. For example, it currently displays my friend’s boat 3 days ago and it’s traveling at 4mph, even though it’s in the same spot. I know that the boat isn’t there, based on the updates on Facebook. There are numerous times the update shows about 4-8 hours later, but currently it’s displaying their whereabouts from 3 day’s ago. I just updated the app in hopes it would fix the issue, but it’s still showing their status as of 3 days ago. A friend of mine is using another app and it is displaying their correct location and gives real time updates. 👎😭.Version: 5.2.8

✓ 5 stars if it could be updated more oftenExcellent app. If only there was a way to do a refresh of my fleet on demand. I don’t understand why it is not updating. First 3-4 days, it worked great. A large cruise ship is not updating and the last 2 days it has lagged 5-10 hours before updating when everything else around it is updating fine. This evening again it has not updated for almost 6 hours and shows still underway when in fact the ship has been in port almost 3 hours. ✓ F/V KustatanNot impressed at this time. Just renewed and paid the bill. But can’t find the Kustatan after it left Homer AK Harbor and headed for Bristol Bay. What is the problem?? AIS is on and they are traveling with FV Farrar Sea. None show up! Should be coming up on Sutwik Is. Where the FV Skandies Rose was lost on New Years Eve. Both boats showed while passing Sand Pt. ✓ Non functioningDownloaded, tried. Launch the appLICATION. A nearly blank screen with icons along the right side appears. Icons are inoperative. “Zoom in map to see vessels” is displayed in the upper left corner. I can’t zoom in, as there is NO map displayed. I deleted, downloaded again. Same result. ✓ Really good app but no support.I have checked out most of the apps that offer vessel tracking and felt that this one offered the best interface and functionality. I wanted to purchase the full version after getting some answers to questions raised while evaluating the free version. After about 5 attempts to get those answers I gave up and bought Marine Traffic instead. What a shame the developer was not more helpful as i believe his app is better than Marine Traffic.
