✓ Great — when it worksI have the gold version (paid subscription starting a few years ago). Last year it warned me of a decent quake in time to respond appropriately. This year I haven’t gotten any of the notifications in September until perhaps 10 or 15 minutes after the fact, in spite of opening the app daily since before the drill on the 19th and having decent cell signal. (I’ve been in Mexico City area for all the above events.) Wonderful idea, but not much good when I wake up to a quake that’s practically over at 1:20 in the morning, and no notifications when I go back to bed at 3:00. Oh, by the way, I did get a notification… the next morning..Version: 4.4.8

✓ Very poor implementationThis app is so amateur and clunky. I have the paid subscription with all alerts turned on, all settings open, and received NO warnings about recent earthquakes. The CDMX siren is much better than this app. Support claims you "need to log on at least once per week" you "must have more than 30% battery to get warnings" and need to "adjust all you power settings, app background refresh, show on screen settings, etc". What kind of customer is going to go through all this trouble? Seriously... sign in every single week? Give me a break..Version: 4.4.8

✓ Bad customer service and worse updatesEverytime there is an update i have problems with my subscription. This means it goes back to showing alerts for every little quake even though I paid a full year to get the so called smart filter. This time i have deleted the app and sent a mail to customer service. Of course i got crickets. For an app that prides itself in protecting your life it has so many bugs its not funny. I bet its just a couple of guys working on the backend. Customer service is laughable. And the app in general is unreliable having at some point even had fake alerts sent, having logged out for no reason. Save yourself the money and the fear of the horrible sounding alarm. ✓ SpottyThis app used to work better. The current version sometimes doesn’t send notifications. Thankfully we have the public alarm system in Mexico. Also, an annoying glitch in this version means that in “Do Not Disturb” mode, if you choose to receive notifications, you receive ALL notifications, even for quakes that are relatively distant and at 4.5 on the Richter scale - in other words, these smaller quakes don’t wake you, but the app does. The app used to allow you to choose the level at which you would be notified. I would be much more satisfied with the app if that setting were restored. That would allow me to be awoken when a larger quake occurs, but not for more minor temblors that we don’t feel..Version: 4.3.8

✓ Not getting any alerts for most important/dangerous eventsToday early morning, an earthquake of 7.0 richter happened in south Mexico. The app sent an alert with an intensity of 4, when intensity should have been way higher according to the rate scale of values used in the app. The alarm was supposed to sound, but it didn't happened. However I received 3 alerts about earthquakes around 2-3 level of intensity (not magnitud). I think the app should review the way of rating each event accordingly and correctly with there intensity vs magnitud scale..Version: 2.9.17
