I really enjoy the various layouts, especially the one that shows a mini calendar, the current weather, your tasks list and of course your scheduled events on one screen. I can easily add a new task or event without too much effort. Support is good as well. I recently had a question on setting the default layout on an iPad. ✓ Legally invalid but a great calendar.It's difficult to read because the characters are so small and so wishy washy. Especially outdoors on a bright day. In this respect the the old Mical was miles better. The owners accept this as an issue. Getting people to read very small letters is a strain on the eyes. Have used this calendar for a long time. I want the facility to 1) Darken ALL or some fonts. 2) enlarge the fonts. 3) Colour all or some fonts 4) Colour each day box. Following the last update I’m very glad to see Sunday has returned to his proper place. With old age the calendar is getting more and more difficult to read for people who are losing their sight. It’s easy to set it up just the way you want it without an overkill of confusing choices. It imported all my existing iOS Calendar and Reminders so I was up an running in no time. I like that I can use any theme: dark, light, or gray with or without colors for the appointments and reminders. The dashboard is a great idea and with free weather. miCal is pleasing to the eye and easy to use. Truly the missing calendar. I wish I’d have found this a long time ago. It is a lot like iCal but seems more reliable and crashes less, and it also has a better system for keeping track of your to-do list. One thing I would suggest for improvement is the controls for repeating events. Currently the only options are daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, yearly... It would save a lot of time to be able to specify which days of the week you want your event repeated on, for instance, if you have a class every monday wednesday and friday, you currently have to enter the class three times, and hit repeat weekly on each entry. Even a "weekdays" or "weekends" button would help. I'd also be interested in seeing a feature that would allow you to integrate a to-do list within an event (I haven't found this on any apps so far). This one shows you the actual things you have scheduled! It is great. I love that you can easily set the color of an event, to make some stand out or to show different types of events. It doesn’t search my contacts for locations the way the regular Apple calendar app does (that I can find, anyway), nor does it let me set travel time the same way as the Apple app. But I use it anyway because the display is the best there is. It has pretty much every feature I can think of for a calendar (to do list seems basic, but I use Notability for my to do). I've used this app for years, recently upgraded to the latest version. Really stable. Well maintained. I'm still getting used to the natural language feature, may update this review later. Oddly perhaps, the feature that stands out for me is the ability to set multiple alarms for the same event (prep the night/week before, and then actually go to it). You can also completely customize alarm advance, and meeting durations and times. I can't tell you how many times the multi-alarm has saved me from missing early morning appointments..Version: 7.8

✓ Very impressedSince Pocket Informant went subscription-based I’ve spent a long time finding a quality alternative which combines Calendar + Reminders. This is the winner, by a log shot. Love the dark modes. Birthday calendar is a nice addition but with a localisation bug.. “days to go” is one day out (e.g. a birthday today is showing as one day to go). That’ll teach me for living in NZ. Still worthy of 5 stars :).Version: 7.9.2
✓ I’m LIVID!While in AL, I made several appointments that were to occur in OH. The states are in different time zones. I entered the time of the appointment but the app automatically changed it to an hour later once we were in the state. I missed the first appointment and was baffled as to how that happened but fortunately figured it out BEFORE missing the next two appointments. I then went to settings thinking I needed to change something and found nothing regarding time zones. Ridiculous feature...absolutely RIDICULOUS!!.Version: 8.2.2

✓ Awesome app 👍👍👍I have been using the old version for over a year and love it, I recently updated to the new version but still have to use the old version to add "contact" to each entry..
