✓ So many ads have ruined this apI paid for this app but it’s still full of ads. Every time I do something, it gives me an add for filters, stickers etc. They are out of control and have spoiled the experience and it’s too annoying for me to use. ✓ Done!I purchased Rookie Cam a while ago and I’ve enjoyed using it for specific editing situations, however with the latest update, I am spammed with adds whenever I try to do many editing tasks. When I originally acquired the app, I bought the filter pack that was available at the time. Now I receive multiple prompts to buy the other film and video packs which I do not need. The Ads on the gallery page was the nail in the coffin, so to speak, and will most likely delete the app shortly. I don’t expect apps to be free, after all, I did paid for it. ✓ Needs fixesI wish I could give a better rating because I use this all the time and have gotten some good videos out of it. More and more I’m having sound and download errors and lose important shots because they don’t save in the app at all and the sound stops recording mid a video. Restarting the app fixes the sound issue for future videos but I can’t tell when it’s going to fail so still losing important shots. The filters are sometimes great and sometimes give weird tone effects if my lighting is too good. ✓ Add video clip import feature or bust.I paid for the full version. I should be able to import pre-existing clips without being lead to your all-too-similar video editing app with the same filters I already paid for. The UI is only a sales model leading you to purchase and download more apps. Don’t bother purchasing the motion graphics and video pack if you download this app. If you’re primarily interested in applying filters to video, skip this app altogether. You can only use the video recorder while using the app with your phone and can’t re-import and you have to finish editing your in-app clip and can’t leave the app. Other apps allow video import AND auto-save what you were working on. This app just wants to direct you to Moldiv video which has largely the same filters, so again. Decide whether you want a video or a photo app because it’s not worth the hiked up price to have both. ✓ Too many adsI love this but the amount of ads for a paid for app is extremely annoying. Every 3rd photo or so it pops up with an ad for an upgrade of the same app, so if you’re trying to take a number of photos in succession it doesn’t work well. And now the app won’t let me take photos, when I press the button normally used to take the photo it just pops up with more ads, something it didn’t do before. ✓ Newest update impedes workflowI use this app daily to take timed pictures but the newest update has made using it really difficult. Now a pop up trying to get me to buy something shows up between every 2-3 pictures I take. So I'm going to hit the camera button and instead my screen is covered in a pop up. I'm using it for self timed pictures on a tripod so it's not easy to reach around and find the x button in the corner. Also it keeps showing up even after I've dismissed it. It should at least remember my preference during a single session even though showing it only once a session is still too much. ✓ FrustratingThe app is okay for people who want to spend their money on stupid useless subscriptions. I would not reccomend for people who wish to save their money as literally 90% of the entire collection is locked. I did not appreciate this and will not be using this app anymore. ✓ What the hell?!Okay, I’ve been using Rookie cam and MOLDIV since 2014, and for years I relied on them most of the time, and to be honest they’re two of the most awesome photo editing apps u can find here... I still use both of them, and what makes them so unique is that whenever I find one of the features locked and u must pay to use, I find it in the other app free to use and vice versa, they both complete each other... Until today when I got surprised that the “ grain effect 6” is now a paid feature, for years I’ve been using this particular effect , and now i must pay to use the same effect? That’s a joke and most of the filters and effects are now locked, and they were free for years , trust me I know that money is important and all, but stop screwing with us and for once make an update where I and most of the costumers don’t regret downloading it😂.IamwmhVersion: 4.8.2

This is a ubiquitous shady practice that is prevalent that we the app reviews start to loose any correlation with genuine development and quality. A real problem is the inability of the app to do more complex editing from the iOS Photos, as a plugin. My real reason I bought it in first place . Now I'm going to try the plugin.
