✓ Content view is not optimalWhile I was really excited when subscribing to history revealed, the biggest drawback I suffered was the screen view. I use an iPhone 5s and the content of the magazines leave big black bars on top and bottom which might be good for iPhone 4/4s and previous. I don't have any problem with the content itself, but an iPhone 5/5s is anyhow so small and even smaller viewing space just kills it. I would rate it 5 stars as soon as it's been updated for latest versions. So developers, please see into this.Ooo MarJ oooVersion: 3.1.23

✓ App freezes frequentlyThe app often freezes when launching. The status cursor just spins but never opens the store and library. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but the problem is still there. I have not found this with other apps. ✓ Don’t honour their offer and give no supportI took out an annual subscription because they offered access to the previous years 13 issues. When I logged on this offer was not honoured. I sent a message via the app’s support page. They promised a response within 48 hours. I’m still waiting. I sent another message three days later. Another promise of a reply within 48 hours. No response was forthcoming so I called the help line and spoke to a person who was polite but knew nothing. She did give me an email to write to. When I did email them they just sent an auto reply saying that they wouldn’t answer and I should use the in app support form which of course they have already ignored twice. ✓ Awful app.I got the app because I liked the mag. Now the app just reproduces the articles as plain text and it is dull. If I wanted just the facts I would get a text book. ✓ Magazine good but app needs major fixesFound the magazine at the airport but not sold in any stores in Australia. Not being able to buy the magazine, I got the app. The app is seriously flawed & over 2 weeks I was told the same thing over and over which did not work- mags would not open. ✓ Good material bad presentationThe articles in history revealed are great. Full of information but not too long that you lose interest. However I find reading the magazine on my device (iPhone 5s) to be very difficult. You have to zoom in to read and see the pictures. ✓ Great magazine, temperamental appI love the magazine and would give that 5 stars, however it loses a couple of stars because the app itself frequently plays up, sometimes refusing to open at all, sometimes refusing to open the magazine issues - I regularly have to archive and then re-download the issue I’m currently reading as this is the only way to get it to open again, which loses my place every time.
