✓ Don't buy - limited shelf lifeDevelopers are making customers of previous version of Diagnosaurus repurchase an app they already own just to get upgrades, including iOS 7 support. Don't buy this if you want to make any sort of lasting investment as it will only be a matter of time until you'll have to repurchase it again. I spend several hundred dollars a year on medical decision support tools. I was already pretty skeptical of Unbound Medicine but will now go out of my way to avoid their products and encourage my colleagues to as well. It's unbelievable that a supposed professional medical publisher is nickle-and-diming customers over a $2 app..Version: 1.1

✓ Unbound do not useI have had many of their products in last few years at about 60 an app. iOS 11 comes along and they are the ONLY app publisher that didn’t update their product to work in iOS 11. Their solution - rebuy every app to the updated iOS app. I bought the standalone non subscription app to prevent downstream costs with a huge upfront cost. Egg on my face huh. Unbound had 2 years to update all their apps but chose to gouge their customer base!.Version: 1.6
✓ Dev makes you rebuyI bought the original diagnasarus app and I get it, newer versions come out. But I was fine with a slightly older copy. Now, I don’t have any way of even downloading my legacy copy which I paid for. And the app in no way recognizes that you’ve paid once before. Poor investment..Version: 1.6

✓ Decent with some nuisances that hinder usabilityA useful app for quickly referencing differentials that correspond with various findings or complaints, the price is appropriate for what you get. It’s not too difficult to find what you’re looking for inside of the app and the overall interface works well. There is one major annoying quirk, however: the update mechanism. Most of us are probably not using this app every day, but may pull it out a few times a month. The goal is to quickly look something up and move on, yet the app’s update mechanism insists on kicking in at launch and on seemingly random days. There is no way to skip the update process, and heaven help you if you’re in an area of the hospital or clinic with slow or no internet access, as the application simply will not let you use the rest of it before updating. Because of the update issue the app is a bit less usable or reliable as it could (and should) be..Version: 1.3
✓ Why am I required to repurchase this app?I first purchased this app from the App Store when I got my iPhone 3S back in med school. It loaded onto my iPad with no problems back in early 2013. I recently replaced my 3S with a 6 and I'm receiving instructions to purchase the app. Unbound rep said they couldn't help because I purchased it through the App Store, not from unbound directly. This is also an issue with several other apps...shady! 🐂💩.Version: 1.1
