✓ Doesn’t workDownloaded as I love Starbucks and always want to try the drinks you see people ordering on TikTok in America. The app doesn’t work, only shows the pictures of the drinks goes blank when you click how to order it, and asks you to upgrade and pay money..Version: 1.3.8
✓ Not freeI downloaded this app because my daughter likes to try different Frappuccino’s and this would help to tell the barista how to make them however it said the app was free and it’s not! They want you to pay $4.99 a month (not a 1 time charge) to access half the drinks! If it was a one time charge I would probably pay it to get the full menu but I don’t go to Starbucks enough to pay $5 a month! The drinks I did see that sounded good are ones you can’t even order because some of the ingredients were seasonal or not even offered anymore so they should put that on the drinks. Anyways good luck ordering any of these drinks because they probably don’t have the ingredients anymore but remember don’t order this stuff during rush time and don’t get mad at the barista when they don’t have a ingredient..Version: 1.4.5
✓ Cancelled but charged anyway!I cancelled this as I decided I had no use for it! Two days before it was due to charge me after the free trial. Today I have still been charged for a month! I have requested a refund and am not very happy that there does not seem to be a cancel option but only a renewal option, I can only assume because I already cancelled and not because you are trapped with them after trying out the free download 😮.Version: 1.4.0
✓ Half these drinks don’t exist anymoreAs a Starbucks barista, I downloaded this app to try something new since I’m always at Starbucks and get some drinks for free. I was super disappointed after looking through the app to find that a lot of the recipes include syrups, and refresher bases that Starbucks has discontinued years ago. ✓ Virus like activityThey have a sweepstakes entry selection that has worked fine for months. You had to watch ads to be entered in a monthly drawing. But now when you select it an ad comes up with no way to continue. For me it is either MileIQ or Ibotta. Which I already use. They demand installation before you can continue. I have put in a help request several times but they don’t respond. At first a reboot cleared it up but that doesn’t help any longer. All my other apps are working with no issues. It even seems to be blocking me from removing the app now too..Version: 1.3.6

✓ As a Starbucks employeeI am a shift supervisor at Starbucks and while I love the idea of this app and some of the drinks it promotes I have tried and are delicious, there is no actual secret menu at Starbucks. There are a number of different syrups, sauces and flavors you can add to your drink, but don’t be surprised when a barista doesn’t know what the tictok drink is, we are more than happy to help you create the drink you are looking for but there are many drinks on here that we simply can’t make. there are a number of flavors we have that are only available around the holidays, or were part of a promotion that has ended, or that a specific store doesn’t carry because they weren’t selling and they stopped ordering it (bananas at my store). ✓ Used to work perfectly but now....I downloaded this app about a year ago and it was working great. Then one day I went to open the app & I could no longer see the menu. The background turned black since the letters are black I can’t see anything right away, I can only see what category I’m clicking by holding down & highlighting. I could get past that part if I ALSO wasn’t able to see the “how to order” part.. so I can select the category & select a drink (again all by holding down & highlighting) but I can’t see how to order the drink.. real bummer. I managed a brick-and-mortar Starbucks near a university campus for 5 years, and it was infuriating every time some entitled college brat came into my store thinking they’re “in the know” when they come in and order a “captain crunch”. If you know what the ingredients are, tell them and they’ll try to make it for you, but don’t ask for this crap by name and expect the barista to know what it is. ✓ Waste of a downloadI absolutely love my regular Starbucks app and was excited to see the secret menu app. After I downloaded it I tried to find where to sign in so it would know I am a member, apparently it’s not needed. Ok, so next I try and look at the secret drinks. It shows a small picture and gives the name but not what’s in it, so if I were to go to a Starbucks and ask for said drink I can’t even tell them what’s in it to make it properly! There is always a warning arrow in the top right corner prompting me to download the upgraded paying app! WTH!!
