✓ Essential app for overland travelAlong with another app, iOverlander, WikiCamps is our go-to app for finding places to camp nearly every night. WikiCamps has one big plus over the other app, and that is that you are able to download regions in advance INCLUDING THE MAP LAYER, so that when you inevitably lose cell signal you are still able to use the map to locate your destination. The “other” app allows download of all the data for a region, but without the map, which makes it a little less friendly when you lose service. We use WikiCamps every day and will not hesitate to purchase other country versions when we are finished in US and Canada..Version: 3.8.6

✗ Wouldn’t Recommend For Dispersed CampingBought the app trying to find dispersed camping spots within the National Forests in WA State. The only ones that show up are rest stops and parking lots on the major highways. Very little information on finding dispersed camping on forest roads which is what I was looking for and no free trial to test it out..Version: 4.4.13
