✓ Developers please read!A good app but a few small changes needed to make it really 5 stars and worth the price! Firstly split screen support for iPad pro would be fantastic for using the app to map the story side by side to a manuscript. Being able to call acts ‘chapters’ and support for novel writing would also be a great feature. The dates on each scene bother me when writing for an unspecified time in the future and being able to turn these off (and turn off other features which aren’t needed) would be helpful. However having days of the week would be brilliant for organising timelines in writing! Also a timeline using these dates would be useful. The ‘info’ pages, for example to show different types of scene and tension level, are great to refer to. A graph showing tension level vs. Position in the plot would be very helpful also to help writers see an outline of their plot. Please take these suggestions into consideration! ✓ I really don’t think this should be a paid appNot as detailed as I thought it would be for the price. Pretty basic outline stuff that anyone could come up with themselves. Doesn’t really make you think deeper and doesn’t give any writing tips other than basic definitions. I really hate that you can only add one picture for characters and settings. Just gives you a section for “scenes” that you can add in but doesn’t give you any structure for how a story is written. Seems like it is more for playwriting than any type of novel or story. ✓ Chained at the anklesThis such a promising app, but without import it is chained at the ankles and is therefor utterly useless. It was a year ago that I pointed this out and nothing has happened other than a bit of twiddling here and there. ✓ Good for structure, but too many bugsBugs in the body functions make this program seem wonderful, but needs an overhaul to truly be the best it can be. One annoying problem I have encounter so far is in the character section. Only the name and type of character works properly. Any other fill in section stays with whatever input is typed last making it impossible to write different Tags etc. for each character. ✓ LimitedCan’t see what this brings that any other note taking app doesn’t offer. Not greatly customizable. I would’ve preferred to be able to add more than one image to pages. Only used for a couple of days and started looking for something that would allow me to add multiple images and web links/snippets from web pages. ✓ Sync is maddeningI really want to like this app but fighting sync every single time I want to switch devices is killing it for me. It’s not iCloud. The new file is there and it’s downloaded but the app insists on opening the previous version until I move the new file around so the app “notices” there’s a new file. It’s a constant time sink and aggravation. Edit: I give up. Nothing will make it sync. ✓ Won’t sync, keeps deleting projectsI don’t know why this is one of the higher rated story editing apps. I was literally in the middle of writing something and it deleted everything. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to sync and re-sync everything because the programming is screwed up or something? I don’t know. I keep trying to make this work because I really like the format of the app, I like that I can add pictures and stuff to my work, but jeez, if your just going to delete my projects after I spend all that time planning them out and editing them, I just don’t think it’s worth it..S5292Version: 5.7.4

Yes, the sub categories could be considered as prompts, but there's no "planner" in this story planner. List characters, locations and plots. That's it. Can't customise it. Can't list items. ✓ Great, But the Syncing...It needs work. Like, I feel a dedicated “Sync” button would fix this. I have to use the “Sync Problems” help page every single day. Furthermore, after “fixing” the syncing, I end up with all the items in the “Tension” list duplicated by three. This is despite following the help page exactly. I even tried deleting the Project from all other devices except one. Same thing. Please, please, fix this. ✓ Problematic, needs work on layout.I use my phone and iPad in landscape mode when writing but this seems to have little thought applied to anything but portrait orientation. My biggest problem is that my network monitor informs me that both my iPhone & iPad are "phoning home" & sending data when I open the app on our network. Why? Synching via iCloud or similar I can understand and accept, but having private data passing through an unknown and undeclared "secret" third party is not something I am prepared to accept. ✓ Great idea, but needs an iOS 9/iPad Pro updateThis app is really promising, but I wish it used the iPad Pro's keyboard (rather than an oversized iPad keyboard) and also had been com-lied for iOS feature such a split screen and slide over. ✓ UntrustworthyLately, this app has about a 50% chance to delete your entire project when trying to sync. I can’t go back into any of my previous projects because everything I’ve written might completely disappear. Just lost another project today when I tried to open it on my phone - it was there, then vanished, then like clockwork when I went to my iPad, it froze, then deleted the project there as well. I’d rather just use Google Drive, it’s free and I know my stuff will stick around. CANNOT recommend this app for anyone using it to seriously map out important projects..Eldamien1981Version: 5.7.1

✓ Needs workPotentially a good simple story planning app. Allows you to plan scenes and outline characters. However, very limited. In a project, you can only plan characters, scenes and locations. A glaring error is that you cannot outline plot lines. The scenes section allows you to attach a scene to a plot line (called P1, P2 etc), there isn't a plots section, so nowhere to actually write down what P1 or P2 are. Are users supposed to just keep all the plot lines in their head? Interface and usability are good, but needs to be expanded and developed to really be useful for aspiring writers..Big TramVersion: 3.0
