✓ Best BD game since the 80'sOk this is a great game that harkins back to the first versions of Boulder Dash. I spent so many hours on my Atari in the 80's playing BD with my Epyx joystick. I truly loved it. Even seeing that First Star Software logo brings back great memories. This is the first BD remake that has been just as enjoyable to play. The devs nailed movement on the iPad! ✓ Great!I played Boulder Dash the first time when it came out in the 80's. I loved it from the beginning, got addicted, and kept playing until I mastered it. Over the years, I've played it many times, and always enjoyed it, but never quite as much as the first time. For Boulder Dash 30, it seems like the developers pulled out all the stops. The graphics are great, and so are all the new features, but the best part of BDash 30 for me are all of the great new cave designs. I got addicted again! And I'm still playing. The big amoeba that explodes into gems when confined, returns in this app too! One comment: The target audience of 30 years ago is used to paying for games in full without ads. This may run in conflict with "in-app purchase" and "in-game advertising" mentality. Knocks down half a star, due to that, 4.5 stars. Still totally fun without paying extra.
