It updates regularly and honestly for a smallest price you get every extra map, it’s the best deal. Highly recommended this app for anyone who is traveling or wants to. Suggestion: adding small nations like Sealand, Galapagos and Canary Islands to Travellers Club option, would just make it easier instead of switching back all the time. ✓ Great, but greater with a couple of improvementsI have tried multiple apps like this one but they are tacky and don't feel nice to use. However, this app is extremely easy and the interface looks nice. I love how simply turning your phone gives a full screen map, it's a nice feature. Despite how great the app is, there is one small improvement that I'd suggest. I think the app's feature of showing the regions within a country is great, but you can only see this once you go into the specific country. I'd suggest there being another mode on the map which shows regions rather than countries, as many places are too large to simply state that one has been there, for example rather than showing that the USA has been visited, highlight Oklahoma, New York, etc. I hope you consider this tweak as it would be very helpful for me, and I really enjoy the app and am therefore a paying member. Different types of lists leaves room for flexibility, but I haven't found exactly the list that I want to use yet. Every Place, to track specific destinations on a map. Love them both. For this one, I love that it can be use offline, as internet is not always great. What I especially love are the region maps for many of the countries/territories that allow you to mark off exactly which provinces/states/regions etc. you’ve been. What I would love to see in the future is a way to switch the world map projection (Europe looks a bit off compared with Asia and Africa). Additional region maps would also be amazing. ✓ Best App of Its KindA good little app! I really like the feature which allows the user to define what counts as a country, such as dividing the UK into four seperate nations. This is often not an option in other similar apps, which as a Welsh person is very irritating. Nice addition with the UNESCO World Heritage Sites checklist, although this curiously doesn’t include the UK for some unknown reason! With a small purchase it is possible to tick off the regions visited within a particular country. It would be nice to take this a little further maybe with being able to list the cities and towns visited within those places. Another possible improvement would be to allow multiple maps at a given time as I’d like to have my ‘want to visit’ map and my ‘visited’ map seperate. ✓ Great App for trackingI’ve tried a few of these World travel apps and this is by far the best. The ability to mark different countries under user defined categories make it really flexible. The regions/continents listing and the landscape map colour coded are great. Shane about the 1 star reviews related to political issues around certain territories - that’s not the apps fault and there are a number of options within the app to expand beyond the UN list or not. And you can backup your data to files or iCloud. It’s a free app. And the app doesn’t have any annoying ads. And the in-app purchases are for extra valid maps. Not for critical functionality. And the developer appears to be constantly updating the app. As another reviewer has stated. The name of the app is a bit naff. But I’m not going to knock of a star for that. I get excited when I enter a new country and can bring up the map to check it off. The only thing that bugs me about the map is that it's a Mercator projection, I hate that map projection, and would like the option to change projections maybe to the Eckert 5 or similar projections that is more true to country size..Version: 2.7.18
