Cons: Some of the questions (such as the organic chemistry synthesis questions) seem inappropriately challenging relative to other MCAT study sources. Additionally, Grammatical mistakes make some questions difficult to follow. These are rare, reminiscent of a foreigner who has been living here for twenty years. ✓ Anyone Else see inconsistencies here?Lots of generic-sounding 5-star reviews, and the ones that don't sound contrived echo what I'll say here. The bit about the typos and incorrect solutions are true. Anyone who has truly studied for the MCAT knows that even the slightest bit of ambiguity in question structure or answer choice rationale can be maddeningly confusing. Even a single solution that is just plain wrong is entirely unacceptable for an app that purports to help users prepare for one of the most important exams of their professional career; and this app has more than one as such, just in the free portion alone. Finally, the errors in polish, just as often as they appear to simply be accidental, suggest an author(s) with a provincial understanding of English grammar..PulsevibrationVersion: 3.6

✓ Not worth $10.I'm disappointed with the app. I usually don't buy apps, but since I had a gift card I decided to spend it on some MCAT apps. The free app comes with 20-30 free questions to showcase the app. I liked the style of questions and the explanations to the answers, so I decided to buy the app. After doing close to a hundred questions I noticed that while the majority of the answers to the questions were right, there were many that were wrong. From those 100 that I did, I would say a good 8-10 of the questions had the wrong answers. If you're going to charge any amount of money for an app you should make sure the material you're charging for is perfect (even more so for a $10 app), especially for an app that states it provides "MCAT mastery". While I did like most of the features of the app, it's not reliable nor efficient for the user to have to confirm answers through another source before moving onto the next question. If you're planning on buying the app, make sure you know the material very well, because if you don't, you're going end up learning the wrong information..B33FSUPR3M3Version: 3.3.2

✓ It's almost there.This overall is a decent app and it would really be helpful to a person as a review on the go. However I gave this all three stars because it has many flaws that should be changed or corrected which are listed below. -Overall app flaws: 1. The app occasionally glitches and does not show the question. 2. The app sometimes has two correct answers and will even say both are correct. 3. The app sometimes only has one choice containing all the answers. 4. The app had a my progress bar which states the correct % in regards to the total # of questions instead of # of questions attempted. So if you answer only 100 questions out of 500 and if you get all 100 correct, it will show 20% correct. Perhaps the greatest flaw of this app resides in the addition of useless materials. Although it does not hinder MCAT studies, it is frustrating. The problem is that this app features many many many questions on plant anatomy, physiology and mechanisms although they are not tested on the MCAT. Biology which is stated as my strongest subject in "my progress" has about a big red bar consisting almost entirely "don't know" solely because of these plant questions. It gives a false sense of alarm. Please remove them. Overall this is a decent app with great potential with updates..Eddie.MoVersion: 3.2.1

✓ Ok at first...It was okay at first, but then I hit a question that made me just delete the app altogether. ✓ Move along, nothing to see hereThis app actually has a decent amount to offer, unfortunately far too often do they have a question that refers to the "text" which doesn't contain the information you need to answer the question. For example referring to an equation that was in the text, except it wasn't there. Or referencing a diagram that wasn't posted and isn't posted until after you answer the question wrong. Also I WISH I would have taken a screen shot of a question that they had keyed wrong, which makes you wonder how many others might be wrong as well. Overall an unfortunate waste of money if you decide to buy it like I did. There are definitely better options elsewhere..VISH20Version: 3.18.5

✓ Not greatTypos, things that don’t make sense. Some of the explanations are written in a condescending or pretentious way. Most of the time the questions have nothing to do with the passages. The freebie questions were good, then it was downhill from there. Not reflective of mcat prep at all. App issues too, sometimes the passages are just blank or takes a while load. ✓ Decent overall but quite sloppy in some areasOverall app is nice, clearly a well thought out user interface and great question bank. answers sometimes include picture diagrams as well as thorough proofs. However, sometimes there aren't even right answers to questions, yet they are indicated in the explanation. Sometimes answers/explanations are irrelevant to the question. Mistakes such as these seem very sloppy and as if no one double checked the app. For something featured in magazines and having won so many awards, this is kind of embarrassing and unexpected, especially if you're willing to pay 20$ for full access..Valkyrie94Version: 3.2.1

✓ Can't trust this app, too many errors and grammatical mistakesAt first I thought the questions were useful, and I liked the system of keeping track of your confidence in each answer. However, this app is so deeply riddled with egregious grammatical errors and mistakes that I just can't trust it to have good information. It's so bad they don't even have subject/verb agreement. For example, they would say "these is." That's BAD. They would also do things like list "I, II, II, IV" instead of "I, II, III, IV." So while grammar has nothing to do with the mcat, this shows me that they have not reviewed their material at ALL or they would have caught such obvious errors. ✓ Good but could be betterThey have most of the information in the app but I can't select specific topics or sections to go through in the "Important Terminology" section. I want to be able to go through those almost 1000 cards in smaller sections. There are also a few minor bugs. It's useful and I'd probably buy it again, but there are still improvements to be made. ✓ Needs improvementGood app but I wouldn't pay for the whole thing. There are some technical problems. For example sometimes the entire practice question or solution is not displayed. Also some of the questions have incorrect answers. I've only had the app for a couple hours and already noticed quite a few. ✓ Too many incorrect answersThis app is has great potential, but is virtually unusable right now due to tons of incorrect answers/explanations. Sometimes the answer is right and the explanation is wrong, sometimes vice versa, sometimes both are wrong. Either way, it's really hard to use this as a study reference, even if it's only on the go, with so many wrong answers. Very frustrating, especially considering the $20 I just dropped on it.
