USER'S GUIDE:

✓ First app that is a solid renderer to Sony UHP-H1 player that I’ve seenThis app is the first solid working renderer for the top of the line Sony UHP-H1 “everything” player, not just a Bravia TV, that I’ve seen out there. You can use it on your Mac to cast H.264 AVC Profile High 4.1 full HD video with both AAC and DD Pro Logic audio even though Sony does not support either Apple Airplay or Chromecast. Some of the media keys (next chapter) and features (subtitles) are not currently supported it appears. The only reason I cannot give the app 5 stars is that, while it casts MP3 files, it oddly does not cast (in my experience) mp4 Apple audio with iTunes info probably because of a container issue as it cast AAC audio codec just fine as part of the movie content. Also, for some reason the app’s menus and keyboard shortcuts are all dissembled. I hope the author enables file menu items like Open File, etc. Still, this app is perfect if you do not want to run a full blown—and bloated—media server on say, your audiophile Mac Mini, and just want to cast video over LAN occasionally..DmitriSPVersion: 2.1.2
