✓ Wait till iOS 8 problems are resolvedI loved this app and the other other Luis Martinez drum apps. However since iOS 8 NONE OF THEM WORK. It isn’t the only drum app to have been affected, and as a teacher who has enjoyed using them because of their quality sounds, rhythmic possibilities and easy interface I’m now pretty miserable as are the many students I recommended the apps to. PLEASE GET THE COMPATIBILITY SORTED, OTHERWISE THE FIVE STARS I’D LIKE TO GIVE WILL REMAIN ONE. Updated review: I'd love to say the issues are resolved. Unfortunately two years after giving one star I'm tempted to say zero if I could. Paid good money for all your percussion apps Mr Luis Martinez, I wish they worked. This app crashes when I try to save anything. I'm using an IPad Pro 12". The app looks great, sounds great, but is not programmable so it might as well be just recordings of grooves..K. ✓ UselessThis would be a 5 star review if they fixed the glitch. If I have the app running and a phone call comes in the app goes silent as it should. However, after the call ends the sound will not come back on no matter how many times I punch the button. The only way that I can get it to come back on again is to reboot the phone. This is unacceptable. I've spent many hours trying to contact them about this with no success. This would be a fabulous app if they fixed this glitch and communicated with their customers. As it stands, this app is useless and I've wasted $9.99 and many hours in frustration. Buyer beware!.DnspsVersion: 2.00

✓ No sound!!!!I bought this app because I am writing some songs in afro cuban rhythms and needed some rhythmic backbone that was true to the sounds. No I cannot hear anything. What's going on? ✓ Terrible User Interface, No helpI am a drummer and an engineer and I have used a lot of drum machines but after playing with this app for an hour I couldn't figure out how to create or save any of my own grooves. ✓ Good but...I have a couple of their other apps. Soft Drummer and Jazz Drummer. Those have a very naturalistic sounding drum set and works well in performance. This one, the AfroLatin, however, sounds clumpy and harsh. The congas are way to heavy as are the other batteries of drums. The samples are hard and lack the natural dynamics of the other apps they make or of other makers apps. The rhythms and styles are very well programmed but the result is quite robotic..PereshapedVersion: 4.31

✓ Great sounds but needs fixSounds great and I love ability to combine and experiment with different sounds. Steep learning curve if you are not an experienced musician. ✓ No salsaMy first impression. The app is a nice concept though overpriced give its accuracy. Also some user information would be helpful and perhaps some background info. Some of the combinations just seem very unusual and unlikely. ✓ Great app with small bugVery versatile and natural-sounding. But in the current phone version, if you’re playing a preset in the groove sequencer editing section, the steps are not highlighted as they are being played. So you’re forced to guess which sound is getting modified when you’re playing around with the sequence. Hopefully a minor bug that is easy to fix. Also, instrument sounds have a higher, more appropriate pitch on the ipad than their counterparts in the iphone version. I hope they correct the iphone sounds to match those from the ipad coz it’s kinda ruining the whole vibe..Wind2dasideVersion: 4.11
