✓ No AUv3I had downloaded iBassist from this developer so I naturally assumed that this app was also AUv3 compatible. I hope they update the app soon so I can use it in my DAWs. As it stands, it’s useless to me. Otherwise, it has a lot of potential. I was also hoping to find a bunch of Persian 6/8 grooves which are the bread and butter of Persian dance music. ✓ Great for standalone stuff, terrible for work that needs multiple apps and a centralized workflow.The samples on these drummer apps are amazing. The “improv” too, but the composing, the beatmaking - anything needing ANY edits - is just not up to par at all. Considering we used to be able to send midi to the first apps by Lumbeat (using them as sound banks) and this option has been removed in the most recent apps they’ve released, it is clear they’ve gone out of their way to force you into using their own system. I dislike the sequencer like no other; it’s super slow to work with, forcing you to watch an “intensity” grid for seconds that obstructs the sequencer every time you input a single thing on it. Takes forever to input anything, literally a waste of time, and then it always ignores your inputs and decides to play whatever it feels like playing (even when no jam settings are being used, or fills or anything for that matter)… etc. This is the kind of app I’d only recommend to people who DO NOT want to make their own percussion tracks. All would be fine if that was the only issue, but then These are the most expensive drummer apps out there so really there’s a LOT that needs improvement to give this a good rating. Then finally, once again, the bundles are crazy. Just buy the apps separately, it literally makes no difference: today (only today November the 4th 2021, yes) we were supposed to have a 30 % discount for the bundle containing this and the Indian drummer app.Turns out if you already own one app then you don’t get the discount at all, it even ends up being more expensive than buying the other app alone... ✓ ConfusingThe app has a lot going but it is confusing me quiet honestly. Also I was disappointed since the description mentioned Morocco, and that’s the reason I purchased because I needed Moroccan beats and instruments, but there was none, or no beats I could relate to being from Morocco. Sounds do not sound very authentic in general. Lacks authentic flair. Price therefore is too high for the value..Adnane B.Version: 1.22

✓ Amazing standalone drummer that needs Auv3 updateGotta be honest, this is a 5/5 standalone app, especially in the old Audiobus environment, but in today’s iOS environment inter app audio is so outdated I have to knock it down to 1/5 until this gets an Auv3 audio unit update. Why? I bought it for Cubasis/DAW integration and I hear this is old tech that’s obsolete and it’s true. It doesn’t run in Drambo! Drumperfect Pro is a terrible app and it’s similar in price, but they implemented Auv3. There is no reason why Lumbeat, who are superior programmers to WaveMachine Labs and Drumperfect Pro, haven’t upgraded their software engine to audio units by now. I did ask before posting this but I still haven’t gotten a reply. Drum Session threw in the towel publicly and said they would be obsolete in due time. Lumbeat hasn’t done this (as of January 31,2023), but it looks like Luis Martinez sold his company during the pandemic too because I spoke with him extensively before and after, and things aren’t adding up - a program coder on his level should’ve updated this years ago, and Lumbeat admitted they are more than one person now, so Lumbeat also changed hands like Auria Pro and DPP. I bought this at full price because I didn’t know what Auv3 was compared to IAA but after speaking to another developer he laughed at my naïveté and told me IAA would be obsolete very soon. Since it’s $11.99 today it’s worth buying, I guess, but looking back on 2022 and knowing what I know now about Cubasis 3 (do NOT buy Auria Pro, it is abandonware), I can’t give this 5 stars. I’m presuming the price drop is related to my question, unfortunately, so unless this gets a major Auv3 audio unit update, it’s definitely 3 stars. It’s like Beats Studio 3: they are definitely 5/5 star headphones still today, but paying $349.99 today sounds crazy (but for $199 or less, they are worth buying)... If Lumbeat updates to Auv3, I’d gladly update my review to 5/5, as I said, stand alone that’s what it is. But it isn’t meant for standalone use for a musician, it’s meant to be used in a DAW. so I would have held out for a sale or skipped it had I known Auv3 isn’t in the future...still fun for Arabic rhythms! But this company needs a code infusion. Notice Lumbeat used to be just “Lumbeat” in dev info, now they are Lumbeat Ltd or LLC (if it smells like a scam, it is).Deleteddddd0989Version: 1.35
