And this app is not only fun to say Uke-o-ke, but is super well designed, it flows, and I can alter the tempo, or just play along. More contemporary songs, easier to search and just an easier experience. My only complaint is the cheesy electronic synth accompaniment music we play along to. Yousician actually has your play along with real studio musicians and singers. BUT, it’s okay, they’re both different apps for different purposes..Version: 2.2.4

✓ Enjoying so far!I’ve decided to try and learn the uke whilst in isolation and this is one of the best apps I’ve found so far because of the amount of songs you can chose from. I find it difficult to learn if I’m just learning nursery rhymes, so I’d much rather choose a song I enjoy and slow it down. It also shows you the chords used in the song. One feature I’d like that I’m sure it doesn’t have is an ‘easy song’ or ‘2/3 chord song’ filter as some of the songs are too complicated for me right now and I’d like to narrow down to find the ones I think I can try. Have a longer and audible count in (rather than 4 seconds of silence) as I keep missing the start point especially as have to click play on screen, then get ready with first chord. 2. ✓ Great app to learn how to play familiar songsI’ve never been somebody who can learn an Instrument by learning notes. Learning tabs has been the only way for me. I love to sing so this has become a fun sometimes hobby for me. The fact that the songs are familiar makes learning a bit easier since you have an idea wth it should sound like. I love playing the cure, joy division, the strokes, Amy winehouse, daft punk, Interpol. It’s really great. I have submitted a handful of choice suggestions but I’ve never seen one get added but I’d love to see a Herman’s Hermits song get added. I’m about to renew my annual subscription for a second time. ✓ Fantastic appGreat app. Really easy to learn songs when you play along. The only snag has been the app freezing on start up - I usually have to turn my phone off and back on again for it to work. Very intuitive and if you used it for a few minutes everyday you will easily learn basic chords and strumming which will allow yo to play sheet music. I have 2 complaints 1: why do I have to pay each year... at least after the first year there should be discount 2: I wish you would add some finger picking songs. ✓ Great app!I'm only just starting out learning ukulele but this has been the best tool I've found to help me! Not only is it fun but I'm actually learning and improving. It reminds me of guitar hero in a way lol. I like how I can set it to play the strumming in a ukulele sound so as I'm just starting a song I can follow along easier. The tutorials are great also.
