✓ Cool features but incredibly unfriendlyI’ve used the app for almost a year now and it’s been great, but with the latest update it’s become incredibly user-unfriendly. I can’t set the airport I want to see on the iPhone lock screen widget, the information is never up to date, constantly having to refresh… what happened??.Version: 9.2.3
✓ Integration with Apple Watch doesn’t workDeveloper doesn’t seem to provide any assistance with troubleshooting bugs in the app. Long story short the complications on the Apple Watch do not update. Was pointless buying the app..Version: 6.2

✓ Good app but units are flawed. Also wx out of date.It’s a great app, but why show visibility as “6e+03 m” ?, it just looks stupid. Also, watch app sometimes refuses to auto update or even force update. Weather is often more than an hour old even at larger airports. ✓ Nice Wx app, but slow update on weathetVery good app, I take a peak before every flight, but the biggest problem with this app is that the METAR update is very slow so that it makes me turn on a different app to check weathers.. ✓ No good useSo sadly this doesn’t work very well (almost not usable) on the cellular Apple Watch without the iPhone tethered to it, if I have my iPhone on me anyways it easier to just look on foreflight, so there’s not much of a use for this app, Windh seems to do the same thing but actually works on the Apple Watch when it’s solo, as does NRST for frequencies and a heading and decent rate to the nearest field. On a good note, the GUI is kinda slick.Version: 9.1.6
✓ Need update improvementI love that it integrates with the watch, and that’s primarily why I purchased it. The layout and overall features are decent. My complaint is that it doesn’t update often enough on the phone and hardly ever on the watch. I’ve had outdated METARs of over an hour during Wx changes and a METAR of over a day on the watch. ✓ Watch complications are buggySpecifically with the info graph watch face, I like to have the local winds show on the sun dial top position and it’s now allowing me to click my sundial right app (which is my stop watch for procedure turns) I’d like this to be evaluated please. Also, I get weather reports of zero wind a lot. I work at my home airport, and have access to the AWOS. I know the winds aren’t zero. Please look into this..Version: 9.2.7
✓ Runway numbers...As runway numbers changed about two years ago, no update has been done. F45 changed from 8/26 to 9/27 and 31/13 changed to 32/14. KPBI the same so did every airport.......update needed..Version: 7.2.1

✓ Good but CrashesBasically, Its a wonderful aid to quickly look at multiple areas at a glance. I fly with a company whose weather minimums are more strict than legal definitions. So having the availability in this app to change how VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR are all categorized is AMAZING. Because I then set anything less than company minimums to IFR so I can quickly see what works and what doesnt along my route. The Bad: It crashes when you create different binders (clips). It crashes and need an entire reinstall for it to work again. So as long as I never make or attempt to make another binder, Im good..Version: 6.2
✓ Good app with a greedy subscription policyFree version is ok, but the app is just greedy. I understand that the developer wants recurring revenue, but you can't just ask for a "subscription" for a normal app, which is not even a service. ✓ Too many features require paymentGood things: there are no ads, and the user interface is aesthetically pleasing, more so than the competitor app AeroWeather Pro. Unfortunately, I feel this app tries way too hard to nudge me into subscribing. The very first time I downloaded the app I was immediately shoved a modal dialog to accept a free trial, and when I dismissed this dialog, a different subscription with a free trial was offered. Then all throughout the user interface there are places where you can be swept into the subscription signup flow. Below your list of airports, in the settings, when you tap on certain icons on a map. At least let me look thru the app in peace the first time I open it, and maybe down the road I’d be glad to check out the pro features. And of course they make you pay to use ANY widget functionality at all. I would consider paying for this app but I’d like to just buy it and not have to keep opening my wallet up every so often. Guess you can’t do that! What’s to prevent the price from sneakily being raised before my next renewal date, like the scams run by so many newspapers these days?.Version: 9.2.8

✓ Missing maps with frontal positionsTetrahedral on display is backwards. The point of the tetrahedral is pointed into the wind. What is displayed is how a wind sock behaves. Think of the point of the tetrahedral as the nose of the airplane. That helps the pilot to visually see from the air which runway to select..Version: 9.1.5

✓ Apple Watch issuesGreat App, but recently I got a problem that I cannot fix: The Apple Watch complication does not show the airport as selected on the Flight Clip on the phone. It shows only SFO and LHR, the default ones for the app. Looks like it doesn’t update from the phone. iOS 14, WatchOS 7, tried everything, from reinstall eto reset 🙁 Update: Just got message from developer, he is trying to fix it. That is great news, would make the App perfect👍 The suggested procedure to restart the App did not work either🙁 That’s what I call great support !! Developer just updated App to fix issue mentioned above!! Working flawlessly now 👍.Version: 7.2.1

✓ Has potential ..butThis aviation weather app has potential. They use an interesting visual approach to conveying weather information but a lot of the interface feels clunky and not intuitive. And sometimes it is buggy when launching. Today, it presented a OSH discount promotion to sign on for the premium subscription but the Dismiss button does not work. ✓ Clips frequently appear outdatedThis app is great overall except for fact that the flight clips don’t always update properly. I’ve had some get 60+ hours old with the update interval set to 1 minute. ✓ Nice app but slow weather updatesNoticed that there are inconsistent and sometimes slow updates or metars. AeroWeather is almost always updated within 5 minutes of a metar being published. I have experienced delays of 10 to 20 minutes at times with station weather pro. Improve reliability and speed of updates and I would rank it 4 stars..Version: 6.1.2

✓ Airport Chart UpdatesI’m a Corporate Jet Pilot based in Canada that would use this app on a regular basis if it could be trusted. The StationWeather Pro App doesn’t appear to update its charts. For example, Charlottetown Airport (CYYG) located in Prince Edward Island, Canada lengthen Runway 10/28 from 5000’ to 7000’ over a year ago. The chart for the Airport layout, however, shows it’s still 5000 feet in length. I did go into the settings and updated the Charts Database. After I did that, a little window opened showing, “Charts database updated”. I then went back into the app to check the information for runway 10/28 and saw it hadn’t updated. The airport diagram layout still showed that runway 5000’ in length not 7000’ as it should be. It leaves me to wonder how many other Airports in the StationWeather Pro App That may be in accurate and therefore unreliable. For that reason, I cannot use the App for Flight Planning purposes until the update charts feature is fixed..Version: 6.2
