✓ Nothing updatesI’ve followed all the guidance, established a set of test questions, but the only way you can force the responses to appear is to move to the next question, then go back to the original question. ✓ PointlessI am writing this review from the perspective of a teacher who is using wanting to use this almost exclusively for presenting from my iPad. No offense, but unless this app has the same display as the online version or the powerpoint add-in, there is really no point to it. It does not display the text number, the timer, and the clear responses features in presentation mode. If these features were added I would use this app all the time. Safari doesn't do a very good job displaying the Poll Everywhere website so I can hardly use my iPad for that either. Would really use your incredible polling services more often if you made these changes to the app. Thanks!.Version: 1.4.5

✓ Horrible - waste of class time and university moneyMy university purchased a premium account for all of us in my university... And let me tell you that was a waste of money. Since the beginning I've had issues. I've switched to teaching on my iPad and they haven't figured out a simple constant bug, how to keep the text on the slide. The text on the poll slides off to the right for no apparent reason. So you literally cannot see your question or the student responses..Version: 1.7.1

✓ The iPad app (not the service) is extremely poor.This app doesn’t adhere to standards of productivity/presenting apps; in fact, it’s less useful than just going to pollen.com on your mobile device. For example, it doesn’t support Split View, Slide Over, or any other iPad multitasking features that have existed in iOS for years. It also lacks a “presenter” view, where projecting to an Apple TV or other external display hides other features of the UI (such as the status bar and notifications). Again, something that many apps offer. So, what you’re left with is a giant iPhone app with distinguishing features whatsoever. If you’re looking to use PollEverywhere, I recommend using Safari until the app developers get their act together..Version: 1.25.5
✓ Failed me when it countedI just finished my annual town hall meeting with my staff. Live polling was a new and important part of the presentation. Although it was my first time using Poll Everywhere, I had tested it with various people at least 10 times before the big event to make sure I had it operating. When it came down to my presentation it completely failed to work. The wrong question came up and when I corrected that, no one could respond anyway. Every subsequent polling activity was just dead. It was frustrating and embarrassing. I pressed on with the presentation anyway of course, but I can’t express how disappointed I am with this app. In the end, I was reminded that you must be ready for glitches when software is flakey like this. ✓ Don’t bother.Glitch factory. You never know what you’re going to get - glitches across macOS and Win, Safari, Chrome and I even had to try Edge (gross). ✓ No phone supportThe lack of phone call option to request support is more than inconvenient. Since you have to interrupt your work, send an email and wait for a reply which will result in several hours of wasted time! So, if you’re planning on same day presentation, it’s better to avoid this software. Otherwise, if you have long time to prepare in advance, it’s a great tool..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Nice but needs copy/paste please!I love this idea. Trying to use this in conjunction with GroupMe to get quick input from a group of 5 people I work with regularly. The mobile app is fairly useless without the ability to create a poll and quickly cut/paste it into the group chat app. You already show the link you just need to make it able to be copied in iOS..Version: 1.0.0
✓ Needs Refresh abilityEvery time I use this app it does not work correctly. I can answer the first question, and then as the lecturer continues my phone will auto-lock or I will switch away to use another app. When I come back, I have to leave the presentation and log back in because it will not show the new question the presenter has put up. ✓ Terrible LayoutThe concept of Poll Everywhere is good, but if we're talking about this app specifically, the layout of it is terrible. It's confusing. I think it would better benefit users if there were sections/folders for each number you answer to.
