✓ Professor Peter AdlerI love PollEverywhere! I use it to grade participation (1 point for doing and uploading the homework; one point for attending class; and one point for speaking in class). No more paper and I can work up everyone’s participation score in 1-2 hours for each half of the semester. Polls work great for exams and there is automatic grading for multiple choice questions. I show everyone’s answers anonymously by student ID and the correct answer. Live polling, at random and in PowerPoint, also gets everyone in the class involved, and it is fun to see live results change, such as how students rank the case studies we use.
