✓ Good app for the priceThis app has all the basics of a good text to speech app, especially for the price of $1. Totally worth the cost. However, there are a few improvements that could be made. 1. Better support dark mode by showing all icons in white or light gray while dark mode is enabled. Currently when on dark mode, some of the icons flat out aren’t visible at all because the icons are black, just like the background. 2. Automatically clear the text box after the app is done reading a sentence. Or maybe have a preferencial option in settings to automatically clear. 3. Allow users to hear a snippet of a voice when they change voices, so they don’t have to type something, listen to something they don’t like, and then navigate back to the voices again to switch. 4. Tell me which voice the setting is on currently. This could be with a checkbox, gray lettering, highlighting, etc. But overall, the app is pretty good. I wouldn’t say great without these improvements, but good enough for $1..Version: 3.1.3

✓ Excellent except…This app is excellent except for recently when I tap to use the voices of Reed and Eddy the voice of Samantha speaks and says “Speak. Proximity rate of 4.0 percent. Voice. Reed English United States.” and it doesn’t speak in the voice I want it to be. This used to work perfect before and now I can’t use it for my animations because of this technical glitch and error, if you could please fix it that would be great. ✓ Awesome app but...This app has a wide variety of text to speech voices that you can export to use for whatever you want! The only thing is that if you want to export your text it has to be under 2000 characters. You can upgrade to premium at a cost where there is no limit for characters but I'm not going to pay for a text to speech app. If the developer is reading this plz raise the minimum characters to at least 2500 or something..Version: 2.2

✓ Just a few suggestionsI love the app, it’s amazing in fact but I do have a few suggestions. Well for one, you could add rappers voices or as close as you can get to their voices. Also I recommend rappers such as XXXTENTACION, Tupac, Juice WRLD, etc. Not just male rappers but I just want those specific rappers for some things. Also please add singer’s voices in too. Also there are a LOT of ads so if you can remove at least half of them that would make me happy. But other than that the app is perfect and I absolutely love it. Thank you<3.Version: 3.1

This app is very easy to use and it is also accessible with iPhone voiceover! I love saying this really funny phrase and adding random words to it and using the different accents to make it sound extremely funny! If you are looking for an amazing text to speech app, speak for me is the one! The app is so good that you should just spend the $.99 on the pro version so then you can have an unlimited amount of favorites in your list. I was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the year and have since had my voice box removed. My lifeline has been to use various apps to speak for me. ✓ Good app but easy to make even betterBeing unable to now speak clearly, having a simple “quick to grab and use” app to speak for me is so important. This is the best I’ve found so far for being clear to read with decent sized text in the writing area - important “on the go”, with a nice easy to hit button for speaking. What would make it 5 stars would be a similar easy to hit button to clear the text. Relying on hitting the tiny cross on the right hand end of the writing area to clear the last piece can be immensely frustrating. Made worse if you’re using the app as you walk around..Version: 2.2.4

I got it because I lost most of my voice for a while so I could speak. I think this app is a great idea as it does my EXACT purpose. I had all four of my wisdom teeth out and found it rather hard and painful to speak with gauze in my mouth and a painfully dry throat. With this app I was able to talk again! There's tons of different accents you can change the voice to and even slow it down for someone to better understand you. ✓ FantasticIt’s fantastic. It’s a great help for when I am non verbal (as I’m autistic) the only thing I have an issue with is the adverts. You can remove the adverts from a small price but unfortunately my phone isn’t compatible with the removal of ads. *Sad face*. I’m extremely happy that I can save what I have wrote so I don’t have to re type it if it’s a regular saying or a in emergency what needs to be said. I would love it if you could have the option to create a file for example food and drink. Or emergency scenario. But not put everything in a file.
