✓ Good workIt is bit annoying that every time you trigger the auto-fill, you need text the master password again. Also, the OTP for proton (proton mail/protonvpn) is not generated correctly with the same entry compared to KeePassXC and Google Authenticator..Network101Version: 1.58.36

✓ Not quite thereLet me start out by saying that I want to use StrongBox, it’s got some great features, good flow; you can tell that Mark has put a lot of thought into the app. That said, I will probably look for something else. At least for me, it’s missing a ‘must have’ usability feature. I have been using MiniKeePass, and as many of you will know, it’s a little long in the tooth as well as being very basic. It’s no longer supported by the developer so I need a replacement. The one key feature it did support is TouchID. After using it for a while, I just can’t get by without it. If you are required to type in a 20 character password every time you open the app, you will go crazy. (I ended up doing a huge security no-no before Touch came along - I used a 4 digit code). I know, I’m ashamed. So unless you want spring for the paid version, you risk going down the same road I did and end up with a poorly protected password database. I would encourage Mark to rethink where he is drawing the line between the free and premium versions of the app. I am a developer and so I am completely onboard with making a living while supporting the community, and that’s why I’m spending the effort to write this review. ✓ Switched to face rec than lost my passwordThere is nothing to tell you that when you switch to facial, it will disable at some point and force you to enter your master password manually, which is a very strong password. ✓ Would benefit from more featuresThis is a really nice app that is great at managing passwords. However I have more than just passwords to manage (e.g. notes, combinations, identity etc.). ✓ A pleasure to useI have been a keepass fan for 15 years. sense moving from the computer to iPhone, I never really found any good keepass apps. there was mini keepass, keepass touch, and another I forget the name of now. I tried them all, and was never pleased with them, until I found this app. as soon as I downloaded it, and ran it for the first time, I was extremely pleased. by the second use, I was already convinced I was going to purchase the lifetime license. so I did, and I would do it all over again. not only is this a great app, but the developer really cares about making his app usable by all. this is the first time I have ever given an app A five star rating. but this one was such a great experience that I just had to give it five stars. keep up the great work. ✓ Some strange choices so farI saw the rave reviews so I’m trying out this app. So far, I’ve noticed some odd choices: when creating a vault, the app does not confirm your password, so if you mistype it, you’d have no idea. Second, the app offers to print this password “for safekeeping”… except in order to print from an iPhone, the contents of the page to be printed are transmitted in cleartext to the iOS printing subsystem, then in cleartext across whatever wireless network you’re connected to, received in cleartext by the printer or print server, and every printer I’ve used can/does cache print jobs for later retrieval. So in the first minute of having the app, you might have unknowingly mistyped your password but you can just ask anyone on your network or with access to your printer what it is..DaleBartonVersion: 1.58.13

✓ Updated ratingI previously rated this app two stars because of what I believed to be an unfriendly pricing model and an obnoxious nagware pop up every day when I opened the freeware version. I am updating my review to three stars because it seems like the nagware pop up has been removed, or at least greatly reduced in frequency. Thank you to the developer. I still disagree with the pricing model but that’s the developer’s prerogative to set the price however they choose. It’s their livelihood, after all. I would likely purchase the app to support them if they offered a “lite” version at a reasonable *one-time* cost that provided the basics (open files, add/edit/remove entries, save files). I really don’t need the advanced features of the full price version. I urge them to consider this, as I’m sure it would attract many more buyers who are only looking for a simple way to store their passwords safely on their device. ✓ Useless appUseless app. It doesn’t auto fill passwords even if this app is the only allowed app for auto fill passwords in settings. When try to use auto fill it keeps asking to unlock the DB again even though the DB just was unlocked before trying auto fill. Even worst, no matter how much I try it won’t unlock the DB during that auto fill routine. Basically you need to go to the stupid app and copy password and come back and paste it. ✓ It was good until deleted all my passwordsApp is fairly easy to use, very basic and simple options to use and I was satisfied until all my passwords just disappeared from app without any obvious reason. ✓ Nice looking app, but iCloud Sync is lackingI really like the way this app looks and I like all the options and workflow. Unfortunately it just doesn’t play well with KeePassXC on a Windows PC and iCloud. If I edit my database on my PC and use iCloud to sync the file it becomes unrecognizable in the Strongbox app. The file is perfectly viewable and up-to-date in the iCloud folder but Strongbox requires that I reattach the file any time it is changed on my PC. I read there are several workarounds including changing the way KeePassXC saves the file. But KeePassXC says it is dangerous to change the way the file is saved. I hope the Dev team can get this app to work better with Windows PCs in the future..TekdoutVersion: 1.59.8

✓ Not free, actually expensiveRemembering that this app is heavily based on the free Open Source KeePass, it asks you to pay £15 simply to enable FaceID and search. That seems a bit of a stretch to justify supporting the developer who has essentially just put a new "face" on the original free software. The alternative app KeePass Touch is actually free (£0.99 to remove ads), is based on the same KeePass standards and has TouchID/FaceID and search built-in. I would suggest a more honest price of £0.99 would be closer to the cost of simply having FaceID, search functionality, and the spirit of the Open Source paradigm..BelovedraVersion: 1.19.2
