✓ New Subscription Model??..HumorCast has been an app that I have enjoyed greatly over the past year. It has funny slogans that have brightened my day, beautiful photos and, yes, it could even tell me the weather - in multiple locations!! (a feature I felt was worth purchasing in order to support the developers). However after the most recent update, I have been left somewhat bemused to find that they have decided to move to a subscription based model... for a weather app. For the low low price of £52 a year if paid in weekly increments, £21.50 a year if paid in monthly instalments or £4.50 if paid annually, you get exactly what you got before. No ads, multiple locations and maybe a few extra funny slogans and photos. As you can imagine, £4.50 every year for an amusing weather app is beyond ridiculous. Whist I think this is a good app, it does not compare to other apps available within the same price bracket, especially when you consider that this is no longer a one off purchase. I would highly recommend you look somewhere else for your daily dose of humour or weather..Version: 4.5.2
