✓ A lot of fun, but a couple of gripesI'm learning Romanian with this app and it's a lot of fun! I've only had it for a few days so far and my experience has been mostly positive. There are a couple of issues though. 1) The microphone problem that another reviewer mentioned. This seriously needs to be fixed pronto. 2) Some of the native speakers talk *way* too fast and not clearly enough. Not sure if this was intentional or not. There's a male speaker who speaks very clearly and at a good rate. He's my favorite. Then there's a female speaker who sounds like Chatty Cathy on speed. And she pronounces things *way* differently. I try to ignore her completely now because she's throwing me off. :D.Version: 5.6

The daily lesson is the same in all languages so I was able to quiz them to check their learning. I love this app there were not others that offered Romanian and Polish. ✓ Excellent with a few tweaksThis is a fantastic learning app. I spent $50 for 12 months and I was given every language they offered. I am focused on Romanian right now. I have been using the app for at least 30 min/day for three weeks. I am learning and the repetition is helpful. Where it falls slightly short are in three areas: 1-The microphone/oral answering has to be improved. It simply can't understand what I've said. I even had a Romanian speaker try and it failed a few times. 2-I'd like to see simple verb conjugation lessons. Sure, in time you learn pronouns and their respective verb tenses and spellings, but an exercise per module would be great. 3-When you ask me to type the English equivalent of the Romanian phrase and I type “I would like”, don’t tell me i’m wrong because the answer is “I’d like”. Teach words, not contractions and st the very least acknowledge these are the same. I use other apps, in addition to this to further my leaning. This really is a fantastic offering and worth the price for anything me who wants to inv sit in their knowledge of another language..Version: 6.2.1

✓ Love everything just one small thingI really enjoy this app and I think it’s really helping me towards learning Romanian. I like the structure of the learning and how you can slow down the pronunciation to really hear every word. There’s only one small complaint though. I’m not sure if it’s a bug in the app but sometimes when I tap to select a translation for a sentence, the speaking is completely different to what the sentences says. For example, I press “Mergi cu plăcere…” but I’m hearing “Vă place sa mergeți…” and it really throws me off on which one to pick..Version: 7.1.13

✓ Great language appI downloaded this app to help me learn how to converse with my new family (via marriage). It's nice that it offers multiple learning methods. Typing, word association (matching pictures with names/words), listening (with various speeds), and even using the mic to include practice speaking. ✓ Very interesting!After buying books from Assimil (which uses an unstructured method i can’t stand), i found this app that uses visual, sound and has a structure. The only thing i can complain now is that certain recorded voice extracts’ sound levels are too low and not clear. (like maybe 5-10%). Other than that, it’s well worth the price! I like how on certain words it teaches you the tenses and how to say them for each person.
