✓ Almost AmazingThis app is great! Specially for my business. It helps you keep track of all your receipts and allows you to log all of your expenses. The best part it allows you to turn in for your company's taxes on a spreadsheet for easy calculations when doing write offs. Whatever company system you use (assuming it doesn't have its own app) this is spot on for collating receipts on the go and pushing a report out to yourself (or accounts if you like). ✓ Couldn’t live without itI have been using this app for many years now and it’s always been very reliable. Quick & easy to add a receipt and the ability to then group them say under a particular month and then export the receipts to a PDF is all my company needs. I think on two occasions I contact support for advice on how to use the app smarter and another time when I deleted a file by accident, and on each occasion support got back to me within a couple of hours which was brilliant. ✓ Good, not greatThis app has greatly reduced the time involved in getting my expense reporting done. However, there are some areas where improvements are desperately needed. The buttons on some screens are invisible and you have to just poke around and hope you find them. Sharing the full pdf report is also problematic, and it would help if the created pdf would automatically be named with the name given to the report. I hope you can implement these changes and then I will update the review to 5 stars!.Version: 1.16.2

This app really takes the stress and work out of organizing all your receipts and tracking your mileage! I love that I can create a pdf for each month and come tax season I just hand it all over to my CPA! Keeps me and him all organized! The yearly fee is a great price as well! Customer service is amazing! I had a question on how to renew and they were so polite and then even offered to update when another issue was resolved and they actually remembered to update it! ✓ Great expenses trackerA great expense tracker for business. I honestly cannot believe I did all of this manually for years. It’s so easy to take a photo of the receipt and add details about the expense while I’m on work trips. Even without the auto scan function it’s terrific, but having the app auto read and fill in the data for you is a real time saver! ✓ Glitchy AF***Edited to update review, as they seem to have addressed the majority of my prior complaints! Good job 😊 *** I quite like the previous version of Smart Receipts, although it could have used some improvements. Some of those things were addressed in the new version (being able to access existing photos, ability to send through Dropbox if the file was too big, etc.) but unfortunately those improvements are marred by the app itself being incredibly glitchy. The current version constantly changes the name of your receipt to the category, instead of automatically filling in the category to match the receipt name; it quite often sends an empty report or a report that is unreadable; and the app itself tends to freeze up or work inappropriately if you have too many receipts saved. Also - at times one needs to include a receipt and amount but not have it added into the total (ie. For foreign exchange) - what is the point in having a button you can toggle between expensable and non if the amount will be tacked on to the total either way? Great concept, but it needs work..Version: 1.1.0

✓ It works I guessThe app works to keep track of stuff from my mobile welding business. It’s way more convenient than my mess of papers. It is hard to actually figure out how to get an expense report printed out. Has way more functionality than I need but still easy and simple for my needs. Needs to improve the photo tool-takes good photos but when you choose to keep or discard the photo, you cannot zoom to see if text is legible. ✓ Good app and good VFMI picked out smart receipts a few months ago over much more expensive apps like Expensify. So far so good as it is simple, easy to use, and easy to see where you’re at as it provides an automatic summary spreadsheet as you go. It would be better to be able to upload multipage receipts, but there is a workaround for this. Also tech-support by email has been quick and thorough. There is a bug with the graphs for category totals, which I was told might be due to me not having iOS 14 (I will try later), but with the paid version, the pdfs show the totals correctly, so it works for me.
