Microsoft SwiftKey AI Keyboard for Positive User Reviews

Yall broke autocorrectFirsrlt, happy yall picked the app bakx up its been my main keyboard for years. However with the most recent update, (and all the blatant typos in this review are being left that way to show you the issue), autocorrect has been probatic. So essentially when autocorrect fixes a word and you backspace back to it, it reverts it to what it originally was. This is good because autocorrect isn't perfect and this is what it always has done. But when you tap on the word that it originally corred in the word suggestions list it doesn't fill it back in. On top of that every interaction with your keyboard afterwards is skewed in a way that I can't show you and you'd likely have to experience it yourself. I don't know if this issue is consistent across all devjxss. I use an iPhone 13 pro running the current latest version of ios. That's all I got for you. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk..Version: 2.9.7

Fantastic KeyboardVery nice keyboard. Can we have an option to increase the font size on the keyboard?.Version: 2.5.4

Great product. Please move the new microphone keyBeen using SwiftKey for years and it's awesome. I have a request re the latest update with the addition of a new microphone key next to the existing emoji key. Please move it. Or at least enlarge the emoji key back to how it was and maybe shrink the space bar instead. I simply cannot type now without triggering the mic every few seconds. After years of use it's like suddenly finding the E on a piano has moved to where the D was located. It's infuriating and very close to unusable. Please please I beg you. Rethink this ASAP.Version: 2.7.7

Pretty good app but....could be better. Autocorrect and multi-lingual support is pretty amazing, the number row, emojis and gif searching, clipboard saving, full stop on the main keyboard all feel like massive improvements over the Apple keyboard But accuracy feels like a big step back. There are many times I feel like I don't type as well and constantly miss letters, switch to the normal keyboard and have no problem.. some other things - There's no way to edit themes. If you feel you made a theme too dark or light or want to change a colour or background or name, you have to remake it With the number row on (which is super useful) it seems autocorrect has no use if you accidentally type a number in a word, you have to tap in the autocorrect field for it to correct a number in a word It takes 2 taps to search for emojis (again super useful). I wish I could just press + once, start typing and it starts searching, then press < and start typing to go back to normal again Apostrophe in the full stop hold-menu would be really handy Again, accuracy. I prefer this keyboard but Apple's just feels way more accurate. I almost never miss on theirs.Version: 2.9.2

Great app, 2 major problems.I love this app and all of the features it has, especially the slide-to-text feature. It works very well and I use it a lot. Although, there are a couple of things that really, really annoy me about this app. 1. When you misspell something, it doesn't underline the word in red telling you it's misspelled. The auto-correct function does not do as well as the standard, Apple keyboard does, even when texting normal opposed to the sliding feature. 2. You cannot use Siri to type for you with this keyboard. On the standard apple keyboard, there is a microphone icon in the bottom right corner of the keyboard where you can speak and it will type for you, SwiftKey does not offer this feature unfortunately, which is very annoying to me and seems like a main feature they would have. Overall, this application is great and I use it daily. I urge SwiftKey to fix these few issues and I think it would put them on the top!.Version: 2.3.1

👌🏻This app is really usefull, easy to use, safe, and fun! I love being able to change how my keyboard looks. I do have a tip though, I put that the app could only use my selected photos but I probably should have put all photos because it makes it easier. But over all AMAZING APP 👌🏻😘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 3.1.6

Swift keyPong I have been looking for an app like this for so long on Apple phones but never could swift key of you are the best thank you.Version: 2.4.2

Good but can be improvedKeyboard itself is fantastic..very nice predictive keyboard..but key tune is missing!! Also it lags a lot of time..it does not open some times from the messages..it needs to be stable with spotlight search.. And last...I hope you bring up with more colors..similar to the iOS keyboard..so that it doesn't seem to be any other awkward keyboard.. If you overcome these problems, the keyboard is the best!!!!!!.Version: 2.7.0

Thank God they decided to give SwiftKey another chanceThey discontinued the iOS version of SwiftKey last winter, and I was incredibly disappointed. I was a pre-Microsoft SwiftKey user and had been loving it since, but the excessive amount of bugs forced me to switch. I recently realized they decided to continue support after pushback, and I’m so glad. Yes there are times when I wished there was less Microsoft bloat, but it does what I need it to. It’s consistently able to predict what I’m typing or sliding, and I'm enjoying using it right now. It also has multi language support, which is awesome because I frequently type in Spanish. It's predictions are excellent, and I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternate keyboard. Dont even get me started on the number row, such an awesome feature. Also the slide punctuation is great. Easy 5 stars as long as they continue support..Version: 3.0.5

Bloatkey works wellSwiftKey suffers from that modern day 'more is better' mentality. No, adding even more features to a simple idea like a better keyboard is not a good idea. Give me a slimmed-down simple keyboard without statistics, without gimmicks, bells and whistle. The app is way too big and complicated. I'd hate to know how much more battery power it uses over Apple's keyboard. I still give it four stars though as it works well and isn't woke like Apple's one and learns faster. Duck is now what it should be..Version: 2.9.2

Just one issueIt's a great keyboard, and I like using it. Oftentimes, though, it takes up way too much of my phone or tablet screen. At times I'm unable to click on a "Next" or "Save" button on a website, because there is no way to move or collapse this keyboard. (I think that collapsing down arrow at the bottom right doesn't always work.) I'm using it now, horizontally, on a fifth Gen iPad mini, to type this review and it is taking up more than half of my screen space. Either the developers should shrink this somewhat, or they should give users a way to do it, imo. I'm typing this review and had to scroll down to see what I'm typing because the keyboard was blocking my view. By the way, I removed the number row (which I really like having) and the menu and whatever else I could think of, and this keyboard is still just way too big. :(.Version: 3.1.0

Great keyboard, missing only one feature!I was originally using Google's Gboard on my iPod touch, but came across this keyboard, so I decided to try it out, and it's actually a very good keyboard! For some reason I hated SwiftKey, probability because it came with my Huawei tablet and I couldn't uninstall it, and it looked horrible. The only thing that it's missing is that if you need to move the cursor, there's no way to do that, as on Gboard (and now the stock iOS keyboard) you just press and hold on the space bar and move your finger around. This really is a great keyboard!.Version: 2.4.3

Great keyboardI love your keyboard. Can you; 1) introduce a theme that resembles the keyboard you use on your computer with the numbers in a 10-key format' 2) introduce the ability to customize the keys to type a word or symbol using the 'touch and hold' action like the [?!.] key does. Ex, many folks use certain words or punctuation often. If I could program, say the 'W' key using the 'touch and hold' action one could program that key to type say 'set to default'. This way one touch (and hold) would save 13 keystrokes! I love the little down arrow in the lower right corner to dismiss the keyboard. I love the ability to move the cursor using the space bar. Using this action, the space bar isn't so sensitive that it moves the cursor inadvertently causing grammar errors. I'm giving you 5 stars and would be very excited if these features were added. Thanks..Version: 2.8.3

A glitchBeen using this for years but at the moment it’s playing up always glitching keyboard jumps and when typing plays up it’s getting pretty annoying never had an issue till last week I’ll have it on numbers try to type numbers in and will just go back to alphabet by itself or I’ll try type a word and coz it’s jumps word won’t type properly.Version: 2.9.2

Great, smooth working keyboard but..I love to use your keyboard everyday but there’s one problem that I’ve had since I’ve downloaded this app and that’s none of your keyboards have “voice to text” option and every time I need to use it I have to switch back to the my original keyboard and it’s kind of annoying, apart from that it’s a really great app and I’ve recommended it to most of my friends already and they use it to, I think they agree with me and the voice thing as well. Also update so we can use the new emojis..Version: 2.1.1

Great productI love this keyboard. They were off the Apple Store for a few months so I had to try others. Nothing compares to swiftkey. The only issue is that I can’t login with my Google account for some reason. Neither in my old iPhone, on the new one that I got a week ago, nor in the iPad..Version: 2.9.4

Love!!!I don't know what I'd do without this app!!! Actually Yea I do!!! I'd be spending a hell of a lot more time typing!!! Thank you SwiftKey!! The only disadvantage is not having the option to go into SwiftKey settings to view/edit the "dictionary" that is automatically created specifically as I use the App! I'll keep checking back after any updates the app has just in case this feature is added!! Or if there is an option to do so but I've somehow over looked it, please let me know!! There's quite a few words I've misspelled while rushing that saved in my "dictionary" of words, some aren't even words!! Very frustrating having one of those pop up several times while I'm typing! Even worse when I correctly spell words but SwiftKey will change/substitute it to my accidental jibberish 😳😐!! Now these nonsense words are piling up and popping up way too often!!! Very frustrating! I still feel it's a five star app just give us the option to edit our dictionary!! Thanks SwiftKey!!!.Version: 2.5.8

Best keyboard ever but..This is seriously the best keyboard I've ever used. I tried them all: Gboard, Fleksy, Grammerly, Minumm, Apple's own keyboard and more, but I always come back to this one because it's just works so good in pretty much every category. I have a small request though: if you can, please do something with the wasted space on the iPhone X, either eliminate it or do something useful with it (in the app settings there's no wasted space for example and that's nice). Also, on 3D touch enabled devices, can you please do that moving the cursor up and down and not only left or right will be an option as well? I know that when you reach the end of the row it automatically does that, but it's not the most comfortable thing... Another complaint I have is that the keyboard doesn't insert a space after things like a .,?! and that's pretty annoying. Last complaint is that there's no long pressing a letter for options like ":()*% etc..Version: 2.2.2

Thank you Microsoft! For a long time, this app went unupdated, with bugs starting to accumulate as new iOS versions came out, until Microsoft made a sudden announcement that they were ending support for this keyboard on iOS and removing it from the App Store. Quite a few longtime users were upset, and after about a month, Microsoft reversed course - they not only brought it back, but they have now released several updates addressing bugs and adding new features! This keyboard is a must have for me at this point. The tap map feature alone is enough to make any other keyboard feel clunky. I am so grateful to Microsoft for listening to the fans and keeping this great keyboard going. If you want to experience a better keyboard than the default one on your phone, give SwiftKey a try..Version: 2.9.7

Great App & Love SwiftKeyIt helps collate data on one's selected language as in this instance Vosa vaka-Viti #FijianLanguage.Version: 3.0.9

GreatI usually use it all the time. It's great. But the latest update just stays and won't complete (9.35), so it is now useless. I can't even delete it. Managed to download it, but it is playing up a bit. Needs updating. The latest Apple update has deleted all keyboards (including English) but one..Version: 2.9.8

Great for Bilinguals, Custimizability, and Emojis/GifsI love this keyboard because I often text some of my international friends using words that even though I type in English, are not part of the dictionary, and this keyboard catches on pretty quick. I also love that it's very customizable in that I can keep or get rid of toolbars, the emoji button, numbers on long press, etc. I think the GIF search is also very useful. While it's not absolutely perfect yet, since sometimes it fails to correct my words, or corrects them to a misspelling that I tend to make. Recently, I've run across an issue where the haptic feedback stops working if I'm typing too fast which was not an issue when I was using the IPhone X. But I think that these issues are being worked on and the keyboard seems to work better and better with time..Version: 3.1.5

LegendsI have full trust with Microsoft now I have this cool west coast eagle keyboard and I have game pass I just don't know what to say you guys are the best platform out here right now thank you ( sorry if I'm not understanding right now I am just speechless I can type so fast).Version: 2.9.1

Superior to Apple versionAfter many frustrating months of Apple incorrect autocorrect I’m going back to this software..Version: 2.7.7

Best Usable Keyboard for iPhoneAbsolutely swear by this app as it is the only keyboard modification app that actually works properly on my iPhone. I’ve paid for the full version. Worth every cent! Only given 4 stars as I would like to see some more keyboards uploaded in the app, especially Christmas ones and other holiday type colors etc..Version: 2.1.3

Could be betterCould be better if there was more minimal themes, there needs to be a minimal X theme. also variations of the nickel theme with different coloured letters. not everyone likes bright flashy keyboards but I do like subtle highlights. would also like the dictionary to be more customisable; i can't remove the word "Park" from my dictionary. tech support can't help either, it's very annoying..Version: 2.4.8

I love this app buuuutttttt........I love SwiftKey, and have had it for years now, buuuutttttt... Every now and then it seems like it forgets all words lol. For instance I will just type and show you the ridiculous predictions it makes... Seeley is they beat ladybirds applications I have asked to be ony phone fit this looks (years) Brevard it is bets than any other keyboards I have ever been able Fri use that actually does what I need it to do. Thus is turning out to be a bad example of the ridiculous words of will change my round into.... Sooooo, what I just typed (or tried to) is "SwiftKey is the best keyboard application I have allowed to be on my phone for this long (years) because it is better than any other keyboards I have ever been able to use that actually does what I need it to do. This is turning out to be a bad example of the ridiculous words it will change my words into"... You get the point. Just wonder why it seems to forget my words at random times. Makes typing longer and more difficult when I have to re-type every word over and over and OVER AGAIN. But other than those random points where it re-learns my style or regular English (lol), I do love this app..Version: 2.2.0

Great keyboardI love this keyboard have been using it for years.I love it better than the iPhone stock keyboard. I did however run into a few issues and bugs which I think need addressing first one lately when I’ve been trying to use the keyboard and start typing it kind of glitches and resets it’s not too bad but it does get in the way of typing usually uninstalling and reinstalling the app works for me. The second issue comes after this last reinstall of the app I’m not able to login to any accounts such as Facebook or Google there is an error saying something went wrong which is frustrating because I have to start from scratch again and after using the app for many years you get a custom to using certain predictions so now when I type something incorrectly and it auto corrects to something else that you normally don’t type. I wish there was a fix for this hope it gets looked intoOther than that it is a great keyboard app.Version: 2.9.2

Swif keyIt's super fun you can customize and (more...)😛📱🅱️.Version: 2.4.2

Good keyboard as always but number row?Good keyboard as always but number row function would make it perfect.Version: 2.3.5

GreatApart from Apple seemingly restricting usage of swiftkey i have no problems with this keyboard at all!.Version: 2.8.7

The brown man's review(dabs)Pree gold Twice when u have too 😂.Version: 2.1.1

It's working perfectly again! The bug from last version has been fixed. Thanks so much 🙌.Version: 2.9.8

Almost perfect! 🙄I moved to SwiftKey a few years back and when I first got it, I was well impressed. Yes there was the odd auto correct problem but it was minor and rare. Unfortunately the developer seems to have done something which now means that there is massive auto correct issues. In some cases I'm spending longer correcting the errors than I would if I just typed the words normally. I'm about to ditch it and move to try Google's keyboard unless it's sorted. "This is a pathway of text without me correcting anything just so you can see how much of it is actionable incorrect. This kind of error is becoming more and more common in my texting. I am sweeping at my normal speed so you can see this as a real test. Bloody typical, as soon as I start to try and prove the issue is boys making as many errors.!!".Version: 2.4.6

Brilliant!Although there isn't a huge anoubt of choice for keyboards, the ones available are so well made and the animated ones look really good. You do also have the option to make your own keyboard using any picture you like. I'd like to see a feature with this however to choose the colour for the letters. But all in all, after trying a few similar apps, this definitely came out on top and I have been using it for years!.Version: 2.5.8

Great but not perfectGreat app. Definitely better then standard keyboard but it's not perfect yet. I would love to see it getting one hand option as it's still quite hard to type across screen even with slide option. Position of keyboard for iPhone x would be perfect if it would be move a little bit lower. Nice and clean themes are good attractions, I wish there would be a hit more customization available like extra signs with force touch on each key and numbers instead of having to click on separate menu. Although great app and I only wish to make it better ;).Version: 2.3.1

Love it but...It can be buggy at times but it's still the best 3rd party keyboard I've used on an iPhone rivalling the actual iPhone keyboard. There are a few issues such as lagging or the punctuation section in the right freezing and staying up so you can't see the backspace or the enter key. It's also hard to get the keyboard to instantly learn a word that you use and you'd have to constantly enter it for it to remember. All in all it's still my favourite keyboard but there's a couple things to tweak..Version: 2.9.2

Swipe is a mustI like to use this app mostly because of the swipe feature..Version: 2.4.3

Good as they get!Been using this app for year's now and would not send a message without it for the simple fact of the time alone it saves you compared to other apps or even apples that comes with your phone can not compare and can not stand when my phone will change over to one of the others that is in my phone like I am not going to notice that it is not SwiftKey. This app bar none hands down is the best free app out there for messaging, if you are looking for a messaging app don't waste your time looking any further and download this one now I promise you will not regret it. It also has themes I almost forgot to mention so you can customize your keyboard to your liking which is neat specially during holidays they have themes for each holiday and all free and who doesn't like free. Hope this helps someone who is considering this free app download with their decision!.Version: 2.7.0

One thing concerns me.When "allowing full access" and it mentions about credit card details etc, is it secure? Also, could it be more iPhone friendly? The keyboard shrinks dramatically, is there anyway to free up the bottom of the keyboard as I get the globe and microphone at the bottom and it really shrinks the keys down. The space bar being held down no longer works when you want to scroll through your text. Looks good so far. Will give it a five star if these things above can be met! 🥰.Version: 2.8.0

Needs a quick fixI love this keyboard so so much, i can't ever go back to any other keyboard. But now when I have iphone 11 pro and they don't have 3d touch, it's kind of sad that now i can't move the course around like i used to with my iphone xs max. But with the regular keyboard you can do it while pressing the space bar. I hope you'll fix this and i can keep in using SwiftKey whit no problems..Version: 2.6.1

BrilliantHi first used swiftkey on a samsung s4 a few years back it was great. When this app first became available for iphone it was dreadful and in my opinion, unusable. Now full credit to the developers because they have taken all negative comments and feedback on board and have now developed a fantastic keypad! I find it easier to type with, it's smoother and although I use the stock colour I think they have added plenty of customisation for others. I moved from a 7 plus to the x recently and the cloud service ensured that my predicted words followed me. Just made he switch even more fluent! Keep up the good work!!!!!.Version: 2.2.1

Best Keyboard for iOS PERIOD!Nothing compares to SwiftKey. I don’t have anything more to say..Version: 2.9.4

Best keyboard app out there! If you look at any reviews out there, SwiftKeys always seems to come out on top. Give a go and don’t penalize the keyboard for some of the kinks that are still being worked out with the new iOS. A few things… -there do seem to be some issues when the keyboard isn’t working right in certain apps. BUT This seems to be more of an iOS 8 issue. I think we’re all looking forward to iOS 8.1 which should solve a lot of things besides the keyboard (no, not 8.0.1). -at first the keyboard might seem frustrating to learn, but keep at it and it gets Flow gets really smooth. Awesome feature when you can’t type with two hands. -it’s great that SwiftKey released the first app free to be there for day one. Awesome way to get people using it on their phones and get the word out. I’m sure there will be paid additional themes to comes..Version: 2.9.2

Wish I could give the app more starsThe new update where you can put any picture you want is incredible. Well thought out and makes me excited for the future of this app.Version: 2.2.0

Doesn’t work properly on iPhone 12 Pro MaxVery glitchy and buggy on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14.2.1 keyboard keeps vanishing. Everything that Microsoft touches or acquires, thanks for ruining such a good product. GG Microsoft!.Version: 2.8.5

Good, but missing One Key FeatureThere is no doubt that SwiftKey is the best third party keyboard out there, especially for 'flow' typing. It's fairly accurate, very stable and well-supported. It does suffer however from its lack of one key feature: 'Arc Mode'. Arc Mode was originally found on Microsoft's Word Flow keyboard but that was discontinued (boo!), then Microsoft bought SwiftKey (yay!) so there really is no excuse why this great ergonomic/speed feature hasn't been implemented in the years since... When it does, this app will truly be 5 Stars!.Version: 2.4.4

Mission accomplishedOK so I'm only 10 minutes into using the app and I already have a fully customized "Rick and morty" theme for my keyboard and I've utilized a couple other tweaks the app allowed me to apply. Ex. Lighter to no outline around each key, customize color of pop up text. And that was what I set out for on this search for a keyboard app. I have grammar LG and typewise installed too because I'm looking for the one that would allow me to get that great keyboard. At first my review was based on the theme customization but now that I'm typing I have some notes on keyboard intelligence. Auto correct is applying it's corrective and learning methods very smoothly. I have to correct it'I s auto's one. Once or twice but then it catolalogs it permanently and adapts to your slang and abbreviations. Layout is nice too. Nothing too new but that's fine with me. The only thing that's annoying is the page(or the keyboard) not scrolling down as I continue to write. So I'm writing and the line bars start to descend and the keyboard blocks it so I have to manually scroll the page up. Other than that, solid app..Version: 2.9.2

Adapts to my typing! This is my favourite keyboard. I've used it for a few years now and all the other ones just frustrate me! It's the only iPhone keyboard I can use without having to look at what keys I'm pressing. When my phone was running out of space, SwiftKey started crashing a lot. Then it disappeared one day. However, I found that I was making SO MANY typing mistakes with the iPhone's default keyboard! I had to press each key carefully or else it would be typo spaghetti! On reinstalling SwiftKey and going through the settings, I realised that it was because SwiftKey was adjusting its own map to match where my fingers tend to press. Therefore, I don't have to look too carefully at the keyboard because the keyboard has also adapted to my fingers. All other keyboards are extremely frustrating in comparison! Although ultimately, I'll always prefer a good ol' physical keyboard! And I would actually love a phone that came with a physical tactile keyboard that slides out from under the screen or something! Even if it was slightly fatter and heavier 😆 My only complaint is that it doesn't have support for Chinese! Nor does it have support for many other Asian languages - not Japanese, Korean, Thai, or Khmer. Other than English, I mainly use Simplified Chinese Pinyin and I don't understand why it hasn't been included agter all these years, especially being owned by Microsoft who otherwise have extensive language resources..Version: 3.1.3

Vibrate when typingPlease add option to vibrate when typing like GBoard.Version: 2.5.6

Why oh why???Update! Why oh why have you put the microphone key next to the emoji key in the most recent update??? Now it's just really annoying to misadvertantly press the microphone key and get that screen up...couldn't it have gone on the other side??? It's so annoying, now that Apple have brought out a swipe keyboard i may have to change over... Really a design flaw in my mind...I've demoted the stars from 5 to 3...sorry. This is a great keyboard, I use it exclusively and have jetisoned the use of the iPhone inbuilt. It is so good to be able to use the swipe feature and over time, the keyboard learns your words...definitely a time saving feature...why oh why do Apple not include swipe??? Anyway, a plus for Swipe keyboard. Really like the choice of colours for the keyboard too. The new 'build your own' keyboard is a good addition. Definitely worth getting this app....Version: 2.7.0

Takes practice but everyone should have thisSo after using the flow method of typing exclusively on my iPhone for a bit I was somewhat surprised to find it isn't native in iPadOS. Fortunately a quick Google suggested using this offering from Microsoft, which I duly downloaded. I've been using it around 3 weld now add pretty much the exclusive method of text entry and find that it's taken a bit for the software to learn how I swipe and adjust itself accordingly. Each time I use it I wonder why this isn't a core part of the software and wouldn't be without it. I have just found the suggested page and it has some shocking and interesting metrics..Version: 2.8.6

Great App :but please sort out the punctuationI've been using this on iPad for ages now. It is so fast and less effortful than typing or using word prediction. A double tap gives me a full stop and then a character space ;that's wonderful!but look what's happening with the other punctuation in the preceding lines. In all print that I'm aware of, the convention is that commas, semicolons, colons, question marks and exclamation marks follow on in the very next character space in the same way that full stops do. There is then a space before the next word begins. Question marks and exclamation marks do the same but are followed by a capital letter in exactly the same way that full stops do. Punctuation is important! Don't you think? I do. Becomes: Punctuation is important!don't you think?I do. Becomes : Anyway thanks for this App. It must have taken ages to write it. Sorting out the punctuation would be a great advance in its usability..Version: 2.5.1

SwiftKey "We" problemI find this keyboard app to be just what I need on my iPhone 8 plus. It is easy to set up and works pretty well. The only issue I have is writing "We" at the start of a sentence. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I always just end up with "E" instead of We. Apart from that annoyance, it's a great app and very quick to use..Version: 2.3.0

I love this appIt’s amazing; I love how easy it is to use. The designs are all really pretty and the fact that you can add your own from your camera roll is a bonus. It’s great for when you’re feeling lazy and can’t be bothered to move your thumb all the way across the keyboard, just swipe across it instead!.Version: 2.5.1

Great, but not without flawsSwiftKey is the only keyboard I use now. I find it more accurate than the standard Apple keyboard, as well as slightly more intuitive. It also learns new words and styles quickly, although this can be a bad thing; it has a tendency to learn typos very quickly and then not forget them for a while. It also only supports two languages, which is very frustrating. I regularly use three languages but can't switch between them; I have to enable the default Apple keyboard to be able to use the third language. I don't see any reason for this and it just limits the keyboard. My final major gripe is that you can't change the colour or style of each language keyboard. For example, the only difference between the Spanish and English keyboards is the letter "ñ" and sometimes I miss it and can't figure out why the keyboard is acting so strange...turns out I'm trying to type in Spanish on the English keyboard, or vice versa. It would be great to be able to change the theme/colours of the different languages to better distinguish between them. As of writing this review (24/07/'22) it still doesn't seem to support the latest emojis either, which is minor but, again, should be a very simple and quick thing to add to the app. Apart from these I still recommend the keyboard to people, but there are some very simple ways that it could be improved..Version: 2.9.2

Best keyboard appThis is the only app I have ever reviewed because it's the only one I actually use all the time. I can't type without using SwiftKey. Don't know how some people still haven't used it..Version: 2.1.1

Great WorkGreat Smooth keyboard design, easy to use..... I wish to make one comment:-. I think it's time for a few more background choices please. Other than that, I definitely give It the 5 stars.............Version: 2.9.2

I love this keyboard, much better than default oneI have used this for years, and love it. Past few days it hasn’t loaded at all, and I am forced to use Apple’s own one, even though it is disabled. I’ve tried the methods described on the Microsoft website to no avail. Update: removing the app and reinstalling it seems to have fixed the issue. Back to 5 stars rating!.Version: 2.8.7

SuggestionI really love this keyboard, it's so simple and easy to use. Just a suggestion though, could you make it so that instead of the number bar at the top, you have the numbers as alternative keys on the QWERTY line (top line)? It's just that the number bar makes the key board too tall. It'd be nice to be able to hold down the keys to type in alternative keys instead of toggling between the letters and symbols pages every time..Version: 2.5.0

Go back to combing typing & swiping for the same word.I've been a devoted SwiftKey user for years. I even purchased themes to keep you going. I primarily love SwiftKey because I love to swipe without having to lift my finger up. However it seems like SwiftKey changed the way that swiping works and it takes away some of what made SwiftKey better than Gboard. You see, I used to be able to enter a word by manually typing the first two letters of the word and then finished spelling the word by swiping the remaining letters. As long as I didn't hit the spacebar then it knew that I was still working on the same word. This made word prediction significantly more accurate. However, your new method removes the ability to start a word by typing and finish it by swiping. Instead, if I lift my finger up, it automatically considers that a new word. The end result is that I end up typing most words (to get the proper ending) instead of swiping. And that defeats the purpose of swiping all together. Please strongly consider going back to the old way of swiping..Version: 2.3.6

My favorite and the bestI have been using swiftkey since past 5-6 years if I remember it correct. I love the app more than any other competitor apps in the store. Even though I have switched around 5 phones in these years, the keyboard I always preferred is swiftkey! It has always been my favorite. It just reads my mind and saves keyboard strokes by showing the right suggestions. Kudos team for such an amazing app. I have one point to ask you guys for support. I love the fact that voice typing feature is introduced in this, I was waiting for it for so long. I use iPhone 7 right now and use a lot of emojis while texting. The voice typing icon is very next to emoji icon and I always accidentally presses voice typing instead of emoji icon which is so annoying and the voice typing takes me to a different page for a moment and comes back. I have to wait until I can finally switch to emoji. Could you please place voice typing icon in a different location of the keyboard where it is not near the most frequently used keys? Like if you can place it in top left or right corners or something where we can use it as and when required. Also please try to avoid the screen switching thing that happens on pressing voice typing, it's a bit exhausting for the user. Just a little feedback from my side. And that's why the 4 star. Otherwise you should definitely get a 5 star rating..Version: 2.7.5

Perfect now and I love the number rowJust adding that I love the new number row. That is so useful - full marks for adding this great feature. All of the early bugs have been ironed out and this is by far the best keyboard for ios. The predictive text and next word suggestions are very good. I hardly ever use the flow feature for writing words, but it does work well. My only complaint is still about the 3D touch cursor control facility, which I don't find as good as that of the native keyboard..Version: 2.5.0

Glitchy and slowNow sure if this is more something iOS is doing to ruin the experience but the keyboard randomly skips, when it first pops up you have to press a key wait a moment for it to refresh then it works. Probably need to reinstall but that’s just annoying. Guess that might be a limitation of a third party keyboard experience with iOS. Sadly have to go back to iOS default keyboard which I hate..Version: 3.0.4

Great App But could be ImprovedThis app is amazing but I would like to suggest a few improvements that this app could have. Firstly, I wish you could change your keyboard from your SwiftKey keyboard instead of going into the app. Secondly, I think you should be able to change the font of your keyboard and the words you type. Finally, my last suggestion is that you should be able to animate your customised keyboards like the bubblegum, snowy and shooting star keyboards. I think that this app is great but I would love if you could maybe add some of these suggestions to SwiftKey keyboards. Note: PLEASE ONLY ADD THINGS TO THE KEYBOARD NOT GET RID OF THINGS AS THIS APP IS AMAZING!🥺 P.S. I hope I haven’t missed anything because you may actually be able to do some of these things already..Version: 2.7.0

GlitchesI Iove this keyboard. However, recently I have noticed noticed it glitching . And reverting back to the Default Apple keyboard. This upsets me as I much prefer Swipe. Can this be looked into? Otherwise , I have no problems with this app/keyboard..Version: 2.9.2

Crashed my phoneLovely app that shamed apple into making swipe to type native. However with iOS 13 and the loss of 3D touch you can't force press to move the cursor around anymore and even on the native keyboard you can only do it on the space bar. Shame really. I hope they (apple) fix that soon. It's a bit regressive if you ask me. In the meantime maybe swift key can try implementing it the way apple does?.Version: 2.5.8

Frustrating auto-correctI use my iPad to write and I'm a football journalist. The Apple keyboard has clear prompts to when a word is going to be changed as the whole word is highlighted and the auto-correction appears above the world. On this app it appears just above the keyboard and it's not that clear. The amount of times I have to go back and change a footballers name back, then it doesn't even recognise that I've gone back and changed it as it changes the name again. It's infuriating when you write so many names of players that are typically English. Everything else is great though. I love the customisation we get and I'd love it if one day we could have our own animated themes either using a video, gif or live photo..Version: 2.2.0

Best keyboard for iOS, hands down! The prediction algorithm is amazing and accurate, emojis are easy to get to but most of all, the bilingual support is amazing! My only gripe with it is that when typing passwords or replying messages on the lock screen, it defaults to the stock keyboard. But that might be a iOS thing rather than a SwiftKey thing. Anyways great job peeps! Keep it up! :D.Version: 2.2.2

Favourite keyboard!Best keyboard ever! Incorporates two languages into one, remembers and learns certain spelling etc. AND to top it off, incorporating the Swype feature, along with other handy features; (i.e. double tap caps lock to transform current word into all caps). Lastly, it's free and completely free! A+++++ Job well done guys at SwiftKey! Thank you!.Version: 2.4.7

Been using it for yearsBeen using it for years and it simply beats any standard keyboard!.. But recently switching to an iPhone XR I'm seeing things I don't like, for example the blank space below the keyboard with the globe icon to switch keyboards which I always accidentally end up clicking on and I'm missing the option of being able to resize your keyboard!.Version: 2.4.8

Swiftkey is Back!Highly recommend app. Thank you for coming back to the App Store. When the app was pulled I feared that I wouldn't be able to use SwiftKey in future when I upgraded. I'm a long term SwiftKey user and it's an excellent app..Version: 2.9.4

This is great.Far more capable keyboard than the ios default. Swype writing works so well. Please bring a 'nudge' feature like on Windows Phone to make text selection more accurate..Version: 2.5.1

Love this app butPlease do something about the integration with dictate using Airpods. It doesn't just work poorly, it doesn't work at all..Version: 3.1.7

AmazingI have made many key boards this app is very simple and easy to use and it isn’t limited to have a certain amount of keyboards so u can make as many as u want and customise your own key board using any picture saved in your gallery!.Version: 2.8.0

Fast and SmartSwiftKey helps me save time in typing messages by keeping track of the words that I frequently use so that in the future, it will automatically predict what words I would use next. Moreover, it's very convenient because when I changed phones, all I did was I installed SwiftKey into my new phone and the words that were saved on my old phone (which had SwiftKey on it) appeared on my new phone..Version: 2.2.3

Doesn't show up on certain websitesI've been using SwiftKey for about two years now and ever since I updated my iPhone to iOS 12 about a week ago, the keyboard fails to pop up / work on certain websites. Either it doesn't show up at all or you cannot type. It worked just fine before I updated my phone and now I keep having to constantly switch back to default apple keyboard every time I try to use a website that I've added to my home screen. Please fix this issue.. but apart from that I think this keyboard is the best..Version: 2.7.4

Long Time User, Mostly GoodThey fixed it ! Microsoft did the usual “let’s see how much uproar this causes” and then when it was more than they wanted - the reverted the “permanent bing icon” feature. Now, you can hide the button in settings. Nice. It’s back to being 100 times better than the Stock iOS keyboard (come on, Apple…) . OLD REVIEW: I’ve used Swiftkey as long as I can remember, instead of the stock apple keyboard. That all ended today - when I saw the ugly and major privacy-concerning “Bing” button that is permanently attached to the keyboard in a prominent location. That’s a deal breaker for me. I like search and AI as much as anyone, and I understand the hooplah around ChatGPT and Bing, but the minute Microsoft and Swiftkey even HINT that my personal typings are even CLOSE to a new and groundbreaking (see “risky”) AI search platform - that’s a hard dealbreaker for me. I uninstalled Swiftkey within 30 minutes of seeing the new “Bing” button and seeing there was no way to turn it off. Goodbye Swiftkey, thanks for the memories. Shame Bing and ChatGPT are cosying up to user’s personal data..Version: 3.0.2

CrashingSomething is wrong with previous and this version. Been using this app for years, even before it was bought by MS. As of recently (maybe couple of weeks) it keeps crashing in most apps, sometimes it'll come back and work for 10 mins then crash again. Restarting phone only helped sometimes. Please fix it ms..Version: 2.8.6

Clavier swiftkeyDepuis dernière mise a jour nous n'avons plus accès au emoticones?????.Version: 3.0.9

Great keyboard!A bit buggy at times, but wonderful to type on. Prediction is better than the ios keyboard. Updated review: I've had this keyboard for years, but never really used it that much. In fact, I took it off my keyboard list on iOS. I've been waiting for Microsoft to add dictation to Office Word on my iPad Pro, but they haven't got around to doing it. I thought to myself Swift is owned by Microsoft. I enabled the old keyboard. Vala, it works like a charm. The dictation accuracy is better than the iOS keyboard. There are a few finicky things [like putting full stops and commas in the wrong place when you pause], but it's still better when it comes to dictation. If you think your sentences, you find yourself making less corrections..Version: 2.8.5

Amazingly Useful!Better than Apple's new swipe feature by far..Version: 2.7.4

Good butMore keyboard designs needed for ios and for custom keyboards having the option to make the letters in the keyboard back or other colour so if your picture is light you can see the keys. Otherwise love it..Version: 2.4.5

The best keyboard app in my perspectiveI’ve been using this keyboard for about 5 years now and it’s still my favourite , kudos to the developers..Version: 2.6.1

Great except for.....If you enter a word in capitals, all subsequent words stay as capitals. There needs to be an option to reset the capitalisation after hitting the space bar..Version: 2.2.0

Sometimes works correctlyThis app is great to be able to design your own keyboard and enjoy the swipe feature... when it wants to work! I tell my friends when they see my custom keyboard on my iPhone, with swipe, to download this application. But I won’t if it isn’t working correctly and will only cause others technological issues as well. I find myself C O N S T A N T L Y rebooting my phone or messing with the application itself to try to figure out why the swipe feature is in fact not working. Especially when I need it to work, trying to send something quickly and efficiently which is why I utilize this keyboard as a tool almost 24/7. The only thing is the mistakes with the functionality of the swipe keyboard itself is making me want to look into other options because the keyboard won’t work 50% of the time. I just rebooted my phone to fix the issue, and it lasted about 5 minutes, or a couple of texts to be accurate, and then the issue began again! If you could fix the bugs that would be great. Thank you! You will he keep me as a user and I will continue to promote this keyboard..Version: 2.4.2

Legit best keyboard I have ever usedLook I don’t normally take the time out of my day to write a review unless I actually think the product was amazing I’m talking five stars blow your socks off amazing! As with any keyboard you got to give the program the AI time to learn I’ve only had this app for a few days and it is amazing how fast it is picking up my slang how fast it is picking up the correct predictions for my slang anybody who knows that when they go to put the F word and they get duck can understand this lol. If you can deal with getting passed I’d say probably two weeks of the keyboard learning how do you type this is a must have it is by far the best keyboard I have ever used the swipe feature also amazing I’m not very good with it but I imagine for somebody who is oh man crazy speed Thank you for this amazing app and for free it’s the bomb God bless.Version: 2.9.2

The best multilingual keyboard MicrosoftThe best thing about SwiftKey was that I didn't need to switch language keyboards to write in both my languages. I also wouldn't need to learn two different keyboard layouts as letters like ġ, ħ, ċ and ż would be hidden behind each similar English letter and autocorrect would figure it out. Dropping support for swift key feels like an unforgivable betrayal Microsoft. Now I need to jump through inconvenient hurdles to correctly write in my native language. Edit: Now that SwiftKey is no longer axed I can continue enjoying it!.Version: 3.0.5

Essential for years but could do with improvementsI've been using this app for over ten years and I'm very happy. However I noticed that for a long time My Fitness Pal and this app is not very competible, so if this could be improved that would be amazing. Never had an issue with other apps but for some reason on MFP the keyboard often freezes, comes up with number instead of letters and takes seconds to switch. Though I'm not sure if it's MFP's fault..Version: 2.9.8

Need predictive engine and swipe prediction and accuracy updateNeeds an update to the machine learning algorithms to optimize the space bar triggered predictions in a sentence, the "recognized/remembered word" pattern used by the predictive algorithmic engine and swipe prediction and choice word accuracy update. The Swiping prediction accuracy targets and places words that have not been swiped across at all as its auto imputed at the end of swiped or even typed word. But also, the auto-completion of the short hand typing and AI's choices of using the correct word via the space bar "finish my word prediction" or the proper word being ignored completely. These issues have not been addressed in totality and the obvious wording that is generated in all methods have severely degraded and at times spell out completely wrong words with letters you didn't come close to Swiping across. This causes all kinds of mistakes in texts and emails and social media that look almost juvenile. Please just update that at minimum of nothing else..Version: 3.0.4

ThemesThis is absolutely amazing I love this app but when are we getting new themes?.Version: 2.8.8

Almost thereThe keyboard is ok. I find it’s predictive feature better than the standard Apple keyboard. I seem to find the predictions are not as accurate on the Apple keyboards since the latest updates. I downloaded swift for the swipe function. Unfortunately it’s not smooth at all and gboard is far better. For regular touch typing I stick to Apple. Far more accurate than all the 3rd party keyboards.Version: 2.4.1

Better than built in for iOSEven though iOS had this swiping feature built in now, there are still benefits with SwiftKey. ° the number row on primary keyboard saves a lot of time ° being able to use multiple languages in one messages or email without switching keyboards is stellar (Though, I personally wish it weren't limited to two). ° I like the themes - it's a small thing, I know, but I love having the red keyboard. Only flaw I've found is that, in this latest version, I can't remove false learnings. I press on the suggested word and it offers the option to remove it, but it never actually does. So certain words that I've accidentally created in the past can not be removed from predictions..Version: 2.7.6

Something has changedI was loving SwiftKey. It was predicting my typing well. Then something changed and all of a sudden I'm looking over what I have sent and there are mistakes all over the place. I though this thing learned and got better. Did SwiftKey get a swift round-house to the head? I think it has gotten stupider.Version: 2.8.5

Having some minor issuesSometimes the keyboard doesn't pop up in some apps in the latest ios update. So I end up having to use the crappy iphone stock one :(.Version: 2.2.0

Why are you killing the app on iOS? We want SwiftKey on iOS, Microsoft!Don't kill the iOS app!.Version: 2.9.2

Great but could use some small improvementsI would love it if I could see the special characters as long presses on the keys rather than switching to a whole new mode every time. Also, it would be nice if the keys could be made smaller. With the number row enabled, it's very large..Version: 2.8.9

Brilliant KeyboardI've been using SwiftKey for probably about two years now. I find it very easy and reliable to use. The 'Flow' feature, allowing me to slide my fingers across the keyboard to spell words, rather than tapping on every key makes typing so much quicker. Now, with the ability to customise it by using one of the photos I took myself (a brilliant sunset framed by the silhouette of trees) just makes it look magical. Congratulations to the great work of the developers 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💫.Version: 2.2.0

Near perfectI was looking for a keyboard with easily accessible numbers so I tried a few and this turned out to be the best of the bunch. I have three small criticisms/ suggestions. 1. Long pressing the full stop key brings up a few other punctuation characters but there is definitely room for a few more, just like Gboard. 2. When I dictate using the Apple dictation button (which is always available), this keyboard changes the first character to lowercase. Always. Why? 3. Dictation using Microsoft doesn’t allow swear words. At least give me the ******* option. There are also things I love: 1. Numbers above the keys. 2. I love the way the 'trackpad' works. 3. It generally works really well and integrates well too. So it's become my default keyboard but I still have to flick back to the built in Apple keyboard quite often. Hence missing the full five stars by one..Version: 3.0.4

READ THIS FOR GLITCH SOLUTIONHey everyone, Recently after latest ios update the keyboard has started to glitch between the default ios keyboard and SwiftKey when typing which causes issues. In order to fix this go to iPhone's keyboard settings and remove all other keyboards by clicking on keyboards > edit and only keep SwiftKey. This will solve the glitching problem. Hope it helped..Version: 2.9.2

Absolutely destroyed a good thing!I've been using SwiftKey for years! Literally! Up until Microsoft bought it out, I have seen a major decline in it's ability to help me with typing. I don't know what has happened lately, but the slide to the right shortcut, is an utter hindrance to using the keyboard for me. Being visually disabled, the speech and large key form factor has helped me no end. But recently, the Bing icon and the inability to switch off the slide feature on the word bar, has made it near impossible to use SwiftKey now. I will return it to five stars if this God awful feature is removed in the next update. (UPDATE). The update has added the ability to customise and switch off the toolbar. Thank you! It is now usable again 🙂.Version: 3.0.2

Good App, But...I like this app, I've had to, since the Swype Keyboard is done and dusted. The annoying thing with this app, is when you write a word in a photo to post on FB, you add a dot at the end, and the last letter disappears. Why does it do that? And I would like it if the app would show up emojis for every word you type, also if you press and hold a letter, the JavaScript on the next keyboard page, would show up automatically, instead of you manually having to go in there to type it yourself..Version: 2.4.5

Better than the standard, but could be better . . .I had to get SwiftKey because the standard iOS keyboard is so painful. SwiftKey has a row of numbers above the querty keyboard, the benefit is not having to switch to the numbers keyboard when entering postcodes and the like. The keyboard on Windows Phone was better still (by some way), can we get SwiftKey to include some of these features? The ability to change case of a word simply by selecting it and pressing the shift key to scroll through lower case, Title Case and UPPER CASE? Oh and please, please, please can we get a little cursor controller to make getting to the right place for editing so much quicker?.Version: 2.8.5

AmazingAlways hated iphone keyboard so installed swiftkey as soon as i got my phone and its excellent. So much easier to type with and learns your style of writing too so can predict your text. Never had any issues with this app except that it sometimes defaults back to iphone keyboard but can be easily changed by the button next to your number selection! Definitely worth getting. Has a swipe option too, so if youre lazy like me and hate typing, you just swipe the letters you want and the word appears - so much faster - especially if youre a slow typer!!.Version: 2.2.1

Good if it's back on the App Store.Good to see it is reinstated on the App Store. However can no longer log into Microsoft SwiftKey account. So hope they fix that however it doesn't seem to affect the functionality of the SwiftKey App. I did try the Google keyboard but Swift key seems much better at predicted the typed word and also offering suggestion for the next words. Works just as good when typing in Welsh as it does in English. Which is good when learning a new language. Hope they also update it..Version: 2.9.5

Not perfect, but I'll never go back to the stock keyboard.I've been using SwiftKey for about 3 years and have seen its ups and downs. It started out with occasional glitches that would cause the keyboard to close and swap back to the stock keyboard until I reopened whatever app I was using, but even then, the functionality was worth the minor inconvenience. Nowadays, it's 99% stable and its predictive engine knows me so well that I never want to go back to the stock keyboard. The designs look great (I've been using Shooting Stars for years now), the swipe typing is super efficient, and its subtle modification of my typing map makes my accuracy spot on whether I'm typing with one or two hands. The only remaining glitch is that sometimes, the text doesn't continue to scroll down, so I have to manually scroll down or at worst, switch keyboards and back, but the amount of time saved by its features makes it well worth it. Try it out for a week or two and you'll fall in love with it..Version: 2.4.4

Amazing, works wellThere is a bit of lag when loading the keyboard but I don't think it's because of SwiftKey, I think it's because of Apple. Swiping works well and seeing how many words you've written is an amazing feature..Version: 2.4.3

New update it's great!! Just needs more themes!!Just needs more themes!!.Version: 2.9.4

Impeccable! This keyboard is basically perfect. Dedicated row of number keys above the letters is just what I wanted. Inbuilt voice to text is not good, but the apple microphone remains available below the keyboard, so works with the best of both worlds. Love it!.Version: 2.8.5

An amazing app, my #1 daily user.SwiftKey is hands down the best of the keyboard apps I've used. There are things I still use other keyboards for, so it's not a universal solution, but the ease of use, the EXCELLENT swipe typing capabilities, and about the best predictive text I've encountered make it indispensable as an everyday tool. This one also gives cool statistical info on your typing and keyboard usage, including a "heat map" (recently renamed the "tap map") shows where your fingers THINK letters are, the total improvement to productivity, number of words typed, corrected, replaced, and a total distance your finger traveled across your phone screen while swiping (mine if over 2100 METERS!), etc. The only real criticisms I have are the voice dictation, which I can't seem to streamline, and an occasional auto-fill glitch that inserts "F+(random word)." All in all, this is a must have for anyone that doesn't use voice dictation regularly..Version: 2.9.8

Yay it's back!I'm just so happy that this is back on iOS! This is my default keyboard and I've been using it for years. I was very sad when it was off the app store and I am just so glad it's back! I love the option to add a number line and the fact that I don't have to switch keyboards when typing in all the languages I know. The Apple stock keyboard doesn't have any of these features (I know they have multilingual typing for some languages, but none for the ones I use). I was worried that when I get a new iPhone, I would have to use Gboard in order to get multilingual typing. I downloaded Gboard and just found it to be so bad. I even considered reverting to the Apple stock keyboards (where I'd constantly be switching keyboards) since Gboard was terrible for me. Now I can continue using SwiftKey, even when I get a new iPhone! Thank you for being back!.Version: 2.9.2

Superior in every way! After moving to apple from andriod a couple of years ago I downloaded the SwiftKey keyboard app. It was terrible and had very little support on iphone with the keyboard failing to pop up etc. However, I decided to give it another go this year (2016) and it has gone back to its best! The support is there for 99% of areas and I didn't realise how much I missed the swipe feature and how much better SwiftKeys predictive text is than the apple keyboard! It's amazing. Only thing I would like to see is a replica iOS keyboard skin either for free or for sale. As there is a limited number of keyboard skins available at the moment. I would also like to see force touch implemented into this keyboard better as it currently doesn't use the feature at all. Totally worth the download - give it a chance and you will be typing so much quicker in days. Update as of January 2017: after trying every keyboard on my iphone I am finding SwiftKey to be the best. I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here. I have had zero problems with SwiftKey since using it about a year ago. I'm using an iPhone 6s. It is still the go to keyboard on the iPhone and should be given a chance to prove itself. Update as of November 2017: Afted a number of changes SwiftKey is back at the the ultimate ios keyboard! Now only if we could have SwiftKey access for lock screen and entering passwords, I would be soo happy!.Version: 2.2.0
