✓ Locking upWhen it works it’s good, identifies ships with information and track details. However, after working fine for a couple of years it has started locking up, really frustrating. Go to the App Store and there’s a tab to update, after which it works only until you try to zoom in on the map then it locks again. Don’t know what they’ve done to the app, but the next time it kicks up I’ll just delete it for good.Version: 5.3.6
✓ CrapUnreliable. Searched results are always weeks from last known location. Most cargo vessels in my area are marked unnamed /generic cargo vessels. I had the paid version as well. Not worth the download!.Version: 4.0.4

✓ Need some more development.VesselFinder Lite does all the basics, very well. However it does fall short with the clunky UI, especially the search function where it lacks live results. Dots to show what picture you are on go off the edge of the screen. ✓ Location, location, locationI am sat on Fred Olsen Balmoral in Narvik, Norway on the 19th Feb 24 and yet, according to this app, I’m sat in Sydney harbour Australia… Perhaps a rethink of this app is needed… please don’t blame the ship or FO, all other apps show the correct location, it is definitely this app at fault….Version: 5.6.4

✓ Has not updated our position for over 2 days?When it works it is great but it seems a bit hit and miss. According to VesselFinder I am off of Ibiza but I’m actually in Mallorca. Not much help when you have people watching your progress and worrying. Marine Traffic knows where we are as do all the boats around us as our AIS is fine. Ok I am using free version but if they can not make this work properly then I will not part with money to discover if other versions work or not. Hope you can fix this but it has happened all to often over past 3 years so I have given up :(.Version: 4.0.4

✓ The free version of this app is all but useless.If you like looking at little colored triangles on a map, then this is the app for you. If you want to search for a vessel or anything remotely useful, then the free app is pretty much useless. ✓ Intermittent readingsHaving used this app for ages it seems to freeze a position of your chosen ship. So much so that I have started to use Sea Scanner which is much more accurate. ✓ Just deleted this appThis used to be a handy little App with lots of info, photos etc, but now it is a complete waste of time. I have just deleted it as it won’t provide the name of a ship when you click on the ship icon! What good is that? I download what seemed to be a FREE GAME and was instantly charged 9$ that I can’t get back. After this I at least hoped the app would make it worth it but it was terrible. I need to know the location of ferries in the Canary Islands but because of the issues I no longer trust it.
