✓ Disappointing performance since updateLove the grokker app but since update there has been glitch after glitch. I had some videos downloaded to enable playback without stalling but in the update this has not come across properly. On the iPad the app will not rotate to landscape. I cannot move forward in the calendar only backwards. Find it incredibly frustrating..Alma_07Version: 4.0

✓ Good but could be betterUnless I’m missing something, when scheduling a program, I can only set a start date but not a time of day. If it’s a 21 day program, I have to go in and reset the time of day for each day. Extremely frustrating. Also, can only do one program at a time. This is useless because if I want to do a strength program and a yoga program for the same time frame, I am unable to do so. Not realistic if a person is wanting to address mind and body at the same time. I do like the videos and there is a wide variety to choose from. I would recommend just for the variety but the app could definitely be made to be more user friendly..MsainarizVersion: 4.9

✓ Very inferior to the web siteIt is difficult to write a good review of this app as it is light years behind the Grokker web site. It is missing so many features I was pretty disappointed when I started using it. At first I though the grokker is pretty bad, but when I tried their web site all the features were there. ✓ Why don’t they tell you the cost before installing??This app costs $15 a month!!!!! Way more than any other app I’ve bought. No thanks!! Deleting it. The only reason I got it was because of my work health insurance- there’s a way to save money on our premium by using Grokker. When I signed up on Grokker online, they sent me an email suggesting that I use the app. No mention of the cost. And in the App Store, no mention of the cost! So strange that using the website would be free, but the app is $15 a month. (They give you a 2 week trial for free, but the cost is $15 after that.).WishewVersion: 4.13

✓ The more I use it...The more I use it the more it disappoints me. I loved the idea that they have ‘programs’ you can schedule throughout your week that can last up to a month and the instructions on the videos always encourage you to comment and reach out the them with questions...nope, have not gotten a reply to anything. One programs was supposed to have a downloadable guide to follow along with and had extra info, it’s nowhere to be found and yet again no responses when I ask for help. Sometimes a workout program will only have a three minute video for the day about nutrition and that’s it, no work out. The daily workout challenge is nice when it’s not built in with an automatic timer that has the most annoying noise and then the app glitches so the app just keeps making that noise for almost 30minutes... This app is alright if you want to just search for one video at a time and go for it...that’s it..AkynomVersion: 4.29

✓ Subscription trapTLDR: subscription trap. Do not give your credit card info. After a free trial, I decided not to continue using this product. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to cancel my subscription. Looking online for how to do this, I saw that a number of people had similar issues that were not satisfactorily addressed. After a significant amount of time trying to unsubscribe on my own, I had to contact customer support to even cancel my subscription. This was unnecessarily complicated and difficult. ✓ DisappointingI was so excited to get this app after reading all the good reviews. Then I realized that you have to pay. I was ok with it at first, but then I saw how much it was. It isn't worth it. On Wifi with high bandwidth, yet each menu option took about 5 mins to load and often resulted in an error message - could not create a collection, could not schedule a work out. ✓ NOT FREE TO USEWhat a scam. The description clearly states this is “free to download and use”. Then talks about monthly subscription options that you can get a free trial to try. But when you try to do use it for free, you can’t without a “free trial period” which of course requires you to input payment info. There is not actually a free version at all. This is false advertising! It should only say there is a 14 day free trial period and not that it is free to use. If the description had been clear about that, I may have actually done it. ✓ Room for improvementWhile I enjoy the content of the app. There’s a lot of technical issues. I can’t get it to download on any of my Sony or Samsung products. While it does work on Roku, it is very hard to navigate. If you have to pause the video for any reason it won’t let you. If you exit the video, it will not go back to the spot that you were at so you have to restart the video over again from the beginning. If you try to fast forward it buffers and you have to hard restart the entire device. I thought this might be an individual issue however, it seems to happen on my computer and iPad as well..MochigrlVersion: 4.35

It happens to me more than once a week and this is the only app on my tablet or phone that has this issue. I’ve tried all there suggested remedies and concluded there’s nothing wrong with my devices. ✓ Interested, but no free trialI was interested in this app and to see if it works for me. However, when you make an account to try it free, they demand a credit card. It feels very cheap to rely on me to forget to cancel to get my money. If they had a good product, they could just let me try it & purchase it by my own free will, not by forgetting to cancel. ✓ Frustrating with Google calendarLove the workouts, huge range of options and the instructors are great. I’ve been able to try a lot of new types of workouts which I love. It is really frustrating that every time I schedule or reschedule a workout it syncs to every google calendar I have whether I uncheck the box or not. My aunts don’t like being notified every time I schedule a workout because we share a birthday calendar. Every workout, on every individual day, on every individual calendar has to be deleted. If you change the date or time of your workout you have to delete the original and new workout from every day, every calendar… I don’t schedule classes or sign up for programs because it’s just too much of a pain.
