Been very helpfulGot this app after it was recommended by my Specialist Urology Nurse following my Radical Prostatectomy for cancer. Even though it is basically a glorified stopwatch/timer, I have found the reminder feature to be very helpful and the exercises are clearly explained. There is also some very useful information about the problems of male incontinence and how to deal with it. Definitely worth the money for any men who are suffering with the dreaded ‘trickling’..Version: 1.5.4

Worth itIn my mid-late 40s I found myself starting to have an incontinence problem, exacerbated by one of my bp meds causing an excess of urgency, which persisted after being taken off of it. This app has worked wonders, just need to stick with it and after a few weeks you should start to notice an improvement. Don’t surrender, this can turn things around!.Version: 1.5.4

Helpful AppHi I am sure there was information recorded on the total squeezes you had done on the previous version of the app. Now it’s gone. Not a major issue, but it was good to know. It’s a useful app to keep me motivated to do the pelvic floor exercises. Been using it for about a year now. It was recommended by the hospital physiotherapist. Useful but could be improvedUseful to have reminders, timing and advice. A few things that could improve it: 1. Provide for doing 1 slow and some fast then repeat in the same session. 2. Timing of clicks in fast exercise is inconsistent and confusing. 3. If you miss a timed session and don’t complete the exercise before the next one it doesn’t seem to record both if you then do two sessions. New version is useful but seems a bit erratic with its notifications. The calculation of stats is suspect too, e.g. if you plan to do 3 a day and do the first it counts that as 33% complete although you’re actually 100% on schedule..Version: 4.3.1

Simple and effectiveReally helpful in reminding us to do our essential exercises, to time them properly and to complete them without being distracted. Worth every (spend a) penny..Version: 1.5.4

Encourages a disciplined exercise routineIt’s very easy to put off the routine but this app encourages you to develop a daily exercise program. And these exercises do help with the control of leakage post op, in my case a HoLEP procedure.Version: 4.3.1

Great AppHaving being diagnosed with prostate cancer I was advised to perform pelvic floor exercises prior to my operation. This app was recommended as a great reminder throughout the day. I certainly wouldn’t have kept to a schedule without it. Does everything I want and you can configure a plan that suits you. Love the diary and record of exercises completed. I’m little dissatisfied.Unfortunately, this app need to purchased, and after you’ll figure out, is it good for you or not. As right now, this app has 10 max repetitions and 12 seconds squeeze time. I had prostatectomy 8 weeks ago and I’m on 15 seconds squeeze and this app doesn’t have it, and in few months I might need more than 10 repetitions. Of course, you can go through Professional Mode and have more squeeze time, but leave this mode for pelvic floor specialist. Also, the light grey time moving ring very difficult to see on the white background, it’s will be nice to make this ring little darker. I’m back to free version of Easy Kegel (KPFE).Version: 4.0.0

Radical prostatectomyRecommend by my physio. Great help providing daily reminders plus a useful note writing function to keep tabs on how you are doing. Would recommend to anyone having this type of surgery..Version: 1.5.4

Helpful APPI’m recovering from prostatectomy surgery and this app (and the discipline that goes with it) has been a real help in regaining control. My only criticism is that the Mens version doesn’t include a Bladder Diary, whereas that is included with the Ladies’ one. I had to borrow my wife’s phone for 3 days to do the diary the physio requested. Is there a reason for the difference?.Version: 1.5.4

Needs updating for Apple WatchExcellent app. The reminders made all the difference ensuring I undertook regular exercises. Previously it was easy to forget. Unfortunately it does not work properly with Apple Watch. This is a shame as it’s the perfect application to run with a watch instead of a phone..Version: 1.5.4

Great appOverall, this is a very effective app used in conjunction with professional NHS advice, such as face to face appointments and information, videos etc on e.g. prostatescotland.org.uk The only significant criticism I have is that the fast squeeze function doesn’t allow enough time for a full relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles (and isn’t editable). As a workaround for these fast exercises, I’ve started using an online metronome set to around 85-90bpm and squeezing in the first beat then relaxing on beats two, three and four. Otherwise, highly recommended. UPDATE: the clocks went back an hour last night for winter time, which appears to have sent the alarms into a tailspin. Closing the app and restarting the phone have no effect and I can find no settings in the app itself to force it to follow the phone’s internal clock. I’ve had to set all my reminders one hour behind the actual time. Still a great app but this is a bit weird….Version: 1.5.4

Good, except lack of syncingI suggest the next update have a login feature such that Squeezy can be synced across multiple devices. As many patients will utilise the app 4x across the day, it would be practical for the data to be collected from iPhone and iPad..Version: 1.5.4

Easy to SqueezyI agree that a bladder diary would be useful as my physiotherapist wants me to keep one. It’s great at nagging so that you don’t forget to do the exercises. Don’t overdo it at first, you’ll feel the muscle is strained if you do, I’m very competitive sport wise so used to training hard if told to do so. Positive note, I’m pretty much leak free! I haven’t worn a pad for weeks now..Version: 1.5.4
