At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. ✓ Great app for those looking for something seriousI completely loved this app. I haven’t ever used dating apps and about a year ago I decided to give them a try. I did some research and decided to try Bumble first as I was looking for something serious. The app is really easy to use, I just wished the chat window was a bit more interactive and allowed to delete messages (lol), but again the purpose of this app is just to use it as a first step and continue chatting/texting out of it once you think you have a match. As a woman, is nice to be able to take the first step to initiate the conversation. I had 3 dates with really nice guys before finding my current boyfriend (we’ll soon be celebrating our first anniversary!), so we are both very happy we found each other with this app. The only thing I would recommend them to change is to allow choosing pictures from your phone instead of Facebook. I met one guy who had old photos on Facebook because he just didn’t interact with it a lot, so when we met in person he looked a bit different. Overall it was a good app, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something serious, guys here were really nice, some really well educated, and a couple were absolute gentleman..Ger R.Version: 3.23.1

✗ Not impressedFirstly, this is quite a good app and had been using it for a while however, not long after I’d stumped up the money for bumble boost I had some issues logging in. (Customer service is non existent). When I finally got a reply from their feedback email I was told that my account had been blocked and I could no longer log in. This email was quite obviously a templates reply, considering how long it took is quite a surprise. The reason for my blocking was because ‘after an investigation and much consideration’ they had found I had broken the guidelines. Having popped back to have a look at these guidelines which are rather vague I was still none the wiser. At this point I might add that I am always 100% respectful in the chats with whomever I match with. So this is not their reason why. The customer service email ended with ‘our decision about your profile cannot be changed and no exceptions will be made’. To top it off I can start another profile and drop another £80 on it if I like. Therefore leading me to the conclusion that the guidelines are in fact a way of them blocking profiles so they can then get you to spend more money.
