✓ Love WVTM 13...but I’m confused by some of the alerts on your apps. When I get an alert and click on your app, I expect to go straight to the “alert” information and that doesn’t happen. On occasion I even take the time to try to find the link and can’t. Example is when the alert says Trump is speaking live...and I click on the link there is nowhere to watch/listen to him. Then I Google to find where I can watch/listen live. Also...I get “alerts” for things that I consider frivolous, i.e. “beautiful sunset from Red Mountain” and “easy recipes during quarantine”. Neither of those require my attention immediate or otherwise. And lately I’ve been getting notifications that “WVTV 13 is LIVE”. My question is “live about what”? Please be more respectful of users’ time and attention. Thank you very much..Version: 5.13.926

The app is user friendly so ‘you’ choose what alerts to receive from wherever you decide in the Birmingham area. ✓ WVTM AppI’ve been receiving notices that the WVTM Weather app is going away in January. That app is my go-to weather info companion and I use it many times a day both here in Birmingham and when I travel out of state for work. I think it’s great! I understand that the weather features will be combined into the WVTM news app site, which I also use as my news source at least a couple times a week, but not nearly as often as your weather app. My preference would be to keep them separate. However you combine those two I am concerned that I’ll have to fumble my way around your news site to get to the weather. If you’re going to take away my direct-connect with the WVTM Weather, please, please do all you can to make the link obvious and placed on the first screen I pull up. WVTM is the best.
