✓ Great BrowserFast, easy to use and all around a great way to search the web for pretty much anything.... My only gripe is the red arrow icon that moves around the screen. When you tap on it it shows you ads and I'm not really interested in this feature. It does disappear but then pops back in and it's pretty annoying but hey, overall I enjoy using the Tor Browser..Version: 1.6.5

It doesn't always go back a page and the ads are annoying, not so much the ones across the bottom, but the red arrow that bounces around the page. Hopefully the upgrade will get rid of that. ✓ Why I couldn’t retire it?Hello Dev, I am an old user of this app probably back to July 2017, at that time it doesn’t have its vpn feature yet, and no subscription fees, it was the best one of few online privacy apps that I trusted. I really really enjoyed it, but since I changed a new phone, as I downloaded and pressed restore, nothing happened. Now I can’t even use it? Come on Dev, why? I've always worried about hackers etc getting my IP address and this is perfect as it makes up new IPs and if I get worried I simply close the tab and I get a new IP. ✓ Protect Your PrivacyI was a bit reluctant to try this software. I work in IT & overheard the network guys discussing what people in company have been browsing on work computers / network. This software works well in this respect. If you are truly wanting anonymity then add a VPN service on top. Connect to that first then use TOR. ✓ Perfection Just Simply Doesn't Exist....This app is one of the better free/cheap tor apps. I'm not a 5 star giver, period. So, it's also hard for me to say that there is a better option which is comparable. I am slightly new at the whole dns thing too tho. Let's just leave if at this... does EXACTLY as described. ✓ Good Browser but...I am trying this app for the first time, and I saw this app VPN as an ancillary for Tor, so I downloaded this app. When I went back to the Tor browser, I could not connect to any sites. WTH so I deleted that app and the browser works fine. For a long time, since Google et al. reads all your emails, I switched to a paying email service for 20 bucks a year wasn't too bad for my privacy. This is why the app works great, as it broadcasts your IP to different places, so no one can track you through it. This works great, as I can stop worrying about my IP. One complaint I have, however, are the ads. Don't get me wrong - ads are a perfectly reasonable way to make money off of your hard work. But here, the ads feel too frequent; it feels like every twenty seconds I am clicking one away, and that time feels like nothing when you're reading something. ✓ I would recommendIf you're looking for anonymity, TOR has the history and credentials. At this stage, for privacy, the only metric is who you trust. Other developers have released software that has security bugs and they aren't necessarily forthcoming in terms of their T&Cs around the data they actually collect. I have used the PC version (TOR) for years and witnessed the performance improvements overtime. If you're concerned about the Ad revenue on the free version, then pay for TOR Pro. The guys supporting this solution have to be able to fund future development, scaling servers for performance etc..Version: 1.6.5

✓ Seems safe but i have noob issuesDownloaded this app and use it to get away from the incessant ads that follow you around the net from all those cookies planted on the system, and to keep my browsing safe secure and private. So far it seems a very good app and allows you to manually choose location, ive not had any issues from ads at all but i find the browser locks up sometimes when i use the back button. ✓ The Creme de la Creme of Tor BrowsersHonestly you everything I have used so far on the free version of this browser has been up to the best that hide like to use it for anyway I am writing this review to receive the limited Tro Pro. Nonetheless so far it's only been a bit annoying and inconsistent with the ads displaying most times but other than that it has Great passcode option with another optional finger print reader lock for it. With Tor Browser I can surf away without worrying who is harvesting and storing my IP address. Great app to use and very user friendly.
