✓ Great stuff just two bugsWooohoo anything that sinks Facebook is worth it! Bug1: on signup, if you paste a password into the messenger password page it keeps saying SKIP, so you manually have to type it in to get the DONE button. The DONE button is too far off the top of the screen on iPhone X to actually click it. It requires a million funky presses to get it to go past. Bug2: video playback in full screen fails to replay the video at all (static image) and never seem to get any sound on any video. Overall, If the developers can work out the issues, I believe this app can be a game changer for social media. Issues encountered so far: (mobile version) -The letter i is glitchy for some reason. It wants to type a capitalized i in the middle of words -Autocorrect is non existent so you have to pay close attention to what you are typing -When editing a word too close to the left of the screen, it’s virtually impossible to select in front of it. The work around I use is putting the cursor a letter or 2 to the right and deleting to beginning to get it in the right spot Update: I can’t figure out how to add hashtags past the original posting. Unfortunately it's tough to find things to follow, or that are trending, so you feel kind of isolated until you search out individual people or things to follow. Also this is kinda technical but I like to scroll through my feed by swiping up and stopping with my thumb when something catches my eye. On Facebook, Twitter, and instagram this works perfectly but on Minds it will open whatever I tapped my thumb on. Other than that there’s no censoring, and they also don’t censor truth like the below mentioned social media outlets. ✓ What other platforms used to feel likeI’m new to Minds, but I do really enjoy the feel and concept of the platform. It’s the most free feeling platform I’ve used so far and that’s mainly because they aren’t banning people non stop for seemingly innocuous things. A lot of other platforms have turned into a digital high school, either your in or your out given the days trend or hot take. And if you’re out you’re really out. That’s horrifying, given how much more important and necessary these platforms have become in our world. People keep equating digital platforms to a town squares, I think that’s very accurate. In Minds I don’t worry about what others might think or even more so what the platform itself might think, I’m just myself without worry. All of us SHOULD feel that way inherently but sadly the online world is flooded with people watching every word and self censoring to appease the masses and the platform (consciously or subconsciously). It’s truly not human to act like that. If you want to try a more laid back and honest platform this, so far, seems to be the place..Version: 4.22.3
