✓ Great for (most) movies. Poor for TV Series.This app works well for most (emphasis on most) of your mainstream blockbuster films. But when it comes to films like Courageous or Disney's Inside Out on Blue-Ray, it doesn't work very well at all. These types of films need to be added manually. Also, the app doesn't work at all for any original TV series such as Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory or The Office. There's a lot of missed opportunity with this database app and in my opinion, the app is not worth the cost..NtonlineVersion: 7.5.4

✓ Not pleased.I purchased the combo movie/book app, the database is terrible. Books, I scanned 5 so far and only 1 populated. Movies, 1 out of 5. ✓ DisasterWhile upgrading to Pro I lost my entire library. Categorizing of series could be better. For example on the main screen you see the series name. Tape on that you get a complete list of all shows in the series. That on the episode number and you get all of the normal details. This will keep the app and your library cleaner and more organized. Example Series: Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 1 - Pilot Episode 2 - The First Day Season 2 Episode 1 - One Year In Series: Star Wars Star Wars - A New Hope Thank you for your reply. ✓ Could be betterBe nice if I could click “watched” without having to click in a couple of links. Also I would like to adjust the date watched as I just added all my movies to date at once. Better if it could scan discs with multiple movies like actor complications or trilogies on the same disc. Often picks the wrong movie from the scan as well. ✓ DOES NOT WORK WITH FAMILY SHAREIf you would like to use this with family share. IT DOE NOT WORK. Not a trusting application. You will need to buy it for every Apple ID. ✓ Awful appI got this after purchasing the pro version of BookBuddy and musicbuddy which are both excellent. This app is awful. It doesn’t recognise TV series, boxed sets, collectors editions i.e. Lord of Rings. It doesn’t recognise sets of multiple films either. ✓ Not recommended.They started right off double charging me. Not happy because a majority of my movies are collections. Barcode scans on nearly all of them returns no results and neither does searching online. $16 and I’m back to manually entering everything the way I did on free apps. ✓ Great for mainstream, not for othersI gave Book Buddy 5 stars because it seemed to have a pretty comprehensive database and was so well done. Not so much for Movie Buddy because of a lack of a comprehensive database. If you have a lot of instructional, fitness, documentary or oddball movies you will get the dreaded “not found” message a lot and have to manually enter them. Strangely I cannot find a field to enter the ISBN number right on the package when I enter them this way..WinlifeVersion: 8.13.2
