✓ Light sensitiveI have had this app for quite a while and it used to work OK.I use it as a security camera out my front window. It definitely is a plus with the motion detection, recording who is coming to my front door when I am not home. Although I have one big problem. It has always been light sensitive but for some reason lately No matter if I have The sensitivity on high or low, all day long up to 60 times in just a few minutes it is recording the light changes on the outside constantly. It was not that bad before but now it is super bad and irritating because I have to go through all of the videos to see if anyone came to my door with all the false recordings. I still like the app but I don’t know what to do about this major problem that is so irritating..Version: 2.2.3
✓ Doesn’t work well on iPadInstalled on my old iPhone 6 as the camera and my iPad Pro as the viewer. Whilst it works, sort of, there doesn’t appear to be a landscape mode on the iPad which makes the app awkward to use...at least it is for me. Tried to search the forum but the iPad keyboard simply won’t work...it’s only partially visible and impossible to type anything no matter what orientation is used. I didn’t find the app very intuitive either, it just seems very messy..Version: 2.4.2
✓ Very BuggyAlthough still a useful app overall, it has several bugs that can be super annoying depending on your use case. The first one I experienced is related to the night vision mode or whatever it’s called. When turned on in combination with motion detection, my camera phone constantly changes from night vision on to off and vice versa for no reason and this triggers a motion detection and thus notification to me. This doesn’t happen due to change in light, it simply does it at a regular interval of 10 min or so even in a pitch black room. So I turned off the night vision thing since it wasn’t that great anyways and it fixed that issue. Now I have a new issue where the app changes my camera phone orientation for no reason every hour. I have the phone laying on its side for no reason the app keeps flipping it to portrait mode, thus triggering another motion detection and notifying me of it. Even locking my phones orientation doesn’t help since the app has its own determination of this setting. So basically if you want to use motion detection you can’t use night mode or rely on the orientation to stay without getting useless notifications about nonexistent motion. ✓ Cool app but 360p when viewing from LTE?I decided to upgrade to paid member but will be cancelling. I can view in 720p fine when viewing from wifi but when I’m away from home it says connection not fast enough. Hmm it’s fast enough to stream Netflix in 1080p and YouTube etc. Many more choices out there but thanks, no.Version: 2.2.2
✓ Ok but not reliableAlfred has been ok but it regularly goes “offline” for no reason which is frustrating. Also the video captured sometimes freezes so you don’t see what was actually recorded. Generally ok though for a free app..Version: 1.10.4
✓ OverheatingI have used an old iPhone 5 twice, but each time it overheats and the battery swells, and I am getting a second replacement battery. Also it stopped working while I was on my 1 week holiday. ✓ Won’t stay connected on iOSWould be great if the app would reconnect without having to manually intervene on the latest iOS. Any disruption to the internet connection requires me to open the app and wait for it to reconnect, I have to guess when it’s stopped so a notification would also be helpful. I hope this is just my experience as could be good but will not renew and have to look for a solution I can count on as being always on. ✓ Pesky bug makes this a non-solution for meI have found a consistent problem that when the viewing device loses 3G/Wi-Fi connection, or struggles to reach the camera device, the camera device then goes offline, despite being on guided access, on power, with good Wi-Fi etc. When I get back to the camera device, it shows as offline, and unlocking the screen makes it reconnect fine. The error -always- happens when I’m viewing and never on ‘idle’. I can leave the camera for days and it will continue to show online, but if I then start viewing it and either change apps, or lose data signal, the camera goes offline. ✓ Ad Audio Noise Plays Over Live and Recorded Video SoundWhen I go to live view or when I view video clips, there is a strange audio track that plays over top of whatever the microphone is picking up. It is the audio for a pop up add that appears occasionally and that also runs in the background that is overriding the microphone and also embedding itself in the audio part of the video clips. Brutal. Zero star rating if it was allowed. The developer has really dropped the ball on this by taking ads to a level where useful functionality of the app is significantly impeded. They have completely eliminated any thoughts I had of changing to the paid version..Version: 2023.4.0
✓ It’s not as good as it wasI have used this app off and on for almost two years. I don’t like the recent upgrades that limited the amount of time movement is recorded. The app used to stop recording at a certain point and pick right back up because it defected there was still movement, not any more. The kids can leave the view of the camera, it stops recording but does not pick them back up when the walk back into the view of the camera, they made it through the living room into the kitchen. Both rooms are in the view. This was not just once, it’s a lot. Many times it will pick up a person walking in OR out of view BUT it dies not catch both. I have Alfred set up on a tablet that is next to the router and always plugged in charging, I’m not sure why I get logged out so often and it takes forever to get logged back in. The Alfred app was better and more reliable before all of these changes. I purchased a one month subscription to the premium for $3.99 to see if that makes a difference and restores the dependability of the app, so far I have to say it does Not. I have a 45 second recording, when I watched it, I found that it only recorded movement for 15 seconds, the rest of the recording was still frame, no movement at all. If I do not see dependability like it used to have I will start looking for another security app and cancel my premium subscription to Alfred. ✓ Doesn’t work properlyI subscribed to the pay monthly service based on false information in the app. It says that motion detection can differentiate between people and changes in light. There is no option for this! I have updated the app on both phones. It also says you can record for 120 seconds. Every clip records for 5 seconds. I tested it the other day and it recorded me coming into the house then it stops recording after 5 seconds. I have contacted Alfred but received no response. Poor app and I would like to be refunded. ✓ Well it used to be awesomeHave been using this app for over a year now and paying for the pro version but am now cancelling. The app used to be incredibly stable and rarely had a disconnection. It is now unusable. There have been two or three updates over the past couple of weeks and now I can barely get it to remain connected. Went offline again yesterday, 4th time this week so rebooted and reconnected and within 5 minutes it has disconnected again. Have tried all the suggestions made by the developer including setting up accessibility that was suggested for iOS devices and this has just made it worse. ✓ Read reviews before buying.I downloaded the app on Sunday for a few hours. And after a couple of hours the phone i was using for the camera got extremely hot. On top of the free version of the app. It showed a low quality mode and hd was available after the upgrade was purchased. I updated both phones to the latest ios and upgraded the app like it suggested to get the hd quality. The hd quality ended up not being much better than the low quality. I even moved my phone to a different spots farther away and closer and it still had terrible quality. Save the few dollars and invest in an actual security system. Ontop of this all i already checked to make sure both video qualities were hd and the same. The developers emailed me back a few days later acting like im a idiot. I will not recommend any of there apps or anything they have partners with to anyone except the garbage company cause thats exactly where they belong. ✓ FrustratingThis app gives you a wireless, remote view through most old iOS phones. It is able to record on motion and save to a remote location for later viewing. That is the positive. Unless you are able and willing to check that the camera/phone is constantly connecting properly, it is nearly useless. If you expect this to be your constant, reliable second set of eyes, don’t waste your money. The three times in the last month that I really needed to review footage of a recording, the camera had disconnected itself. And when you are off site, you can’t reconnect. It wasn’t till a day or so had past that I had any knowledge that it wasn’t recording. You have to physically go and turn the app back on on the camera device when you lose connection. Really hard to do when you aren’t there to reconnect it. Until this app is able to remotely reconnect, or at the very least alert you when the app is disconnected, I won’t be using it anymore..Version: 1.10.9
✓ Trying it out for a few months (Free Version)I’ve been trying the free version for a few months and I am trying to decide if I should upgrade. The HD video sounds good but I wish there were more features like zooming, continuous recording or different color filters. I hope it’s something that can be added in the future. Otherwise the app does what it’s supposed to. I use an iPhone 5 and the camera is decent. I use the low light filter but it’s grainy (might be due to the free version). I like that they have a battery save option. Wish I could use it without having to create a gmail account. Sometimes the motion sensor goes off but there’s nothing there and sometimes when I know people are passing by it won’t go off, don’t know why that is. I’ll keep testing it out..Version: 1.10.9

✓ So disappointed!!I have loved this app since I downloaded it years ago. I used it literally every day! It has saved me in so many ways; from easing my mind when my puppy was home alone, or when I had a home invasion it not only notified me during, but I could also go back and view the recorded footage and sis use to the police which later helped catch them. Anyways I just downloaded the app on my newest device to add to my list of viewers and camera devices (another great feature) but now I can’t do anything without having to pay!! It no longer lets me playback and view my footage, nor does it even let me record ! Other than just live viewing my camera.. I can’t do anything without having to buy the premium version ! ✓ Good app but the camera setup options are limitedThe app includes multiple great features for the viewer however the client is not capable of being set up with the flash always on, this is a massive problem because although there is an auto “nightmode” it will never use the flash to illuminate the scene which for my purposes makes it fairly useless as I’m monitoring a 3D printer where there is no ambient light available. Would be very easy to implement in software and I’ll easily give this app 5 stars if this were included..Version: 2021.6.1

✓ Got robbed this app allowed them to get away with it because of free versionSo I’m sitting there, checking my camera and I noticed all of a sudden there’s someone in my home I was horrified tried zooming in on their face couldn’t do it because I have the free version tried to recording it couldn’t do it because I use the free version tried saving the recording couldn’t do it because I was using the free version. This is a bunch of lies saying it’s free and I was gonna get the camera and a subscription on payday but now I’m glad I didn’t because I got robbed and they got away with it, and I had nothing to show the police it’s not free It’s a demo and on my 52 megapixel camera in Broad daylight it was was a such a blurry shaped figure that the world’s best computer analysts couldn’t even identify it I bet because they distort it so that you’ll buy it you can’t tell who’s coming in your home unless you pay I got burned because I believe that it was a truly free app and the police acted like I was lying because I had nothing to show them while using a active security camera.Version: 2023.19.1
✓ Waste of time, unreliableI set up Alfred Camera on an iPhone XS Max, paid for a one month subscription, set up the viewer on an iPhone 13 Pro Max, then went on holiday. At first I was pleased, as I could now monitor the inside of my home, whilst away. But after 2 days, it failed. All I got was a black screen, even though it said connection was working. Next day it failed to connect altogether. My internet connection at home was fine, as was my 5G on the viewer. I know this for sure, as my CCTV (which is local, not cloud) was accessible throughout. My cloud-based services (Apple Home, Alexa lights) were also fully functional. The only thing not working was the Alfred Cam. The guidance says “restart or update the app”, but this is useless as you can’t do that remotely! And yes, the camera phone was plugged in, unlocked and in power save mode throughout. Clearly an unreliable app and a waste of subscription. Won’t use it again..Version: 2023.15.2
✓ No longer that greatThis app has increasingly gotten more unreliable with every update. You can’t lock the screen on your camera device or else the app quits working and then you can’t view from your viewing device, which completely defeats the purpose because without screen security all someone has to do is pick up the camera device and they can do whatever they want to. Not only this but the connection from camera and viewer has gotten unreliable, telling you the camera is offline when it’s not, telling you it can’t access the settings at times, and a whole host of other issues. Since adding all the subscription nonsense which NO ONE LIKES BTW this app has turned to garbage like all the others trying to make ushers rent their apps on their phones..Version: 2.5.3
✓ Unreliable camera. Account info poor security.1. I subscribed to the premium tier for a year and tried using the camera for a month or so. Camera regularly went offline (despite configuring guided access). I eventually gave up with it as a “permanently on” solution. Would probably be ok to monitor somewhere for an hour or two but that’s not what I need a camera for. 2. I would now like to amend my contact details (I am migrating my email account) and am unable to do so. ✓ I spend more time viewing adds than my recordingsI realize that free apps make their money off advertisements but this is RIDICULOUS. If you tap anything at all in this app (want to see any “events”? Open the app? Change a setting? Tap anything at all?), you are shown a LONG ad with no option to skip. So if my camera caught 5 motion-activated recordings, each 5 seconds long, then that means I’m viewing adds for a full minute for every 5 second surveillance clip I watch. ✓ Good, except it fails at randomUPDATE: The developer seems to blankety reply with this copy/paste response that is below. My network is fine, I’ve been testing it and have no problems with anything else. I am very careful to not hit the home button or anything, and I’ve tried both with and without using that power saving lock button. It works for a few hours, and at random the app stops broadcasting with no error on either end - the camera phone still thinks that it’s working as far as I can tell, it is no crashed or anything. If you’re going to reply, please read the whole review properly - docking another star. ORIGINAL: I have an old iPhone 4s setup as a camera. It is freshly factory reset, cellular turned off (WiFi only), nothing else running on it, a perfect WiFi connection, etc. This app stops broadcasting every so often, at least twice a day. The app is not crashing, and my internet connection/WiFi is perfect. When I go to the 4s, the app is still running and has no indication that it has failed... but it is not broadcasting. Restarting the app fixes it, but I’m not home all the time so this isn’t a good solution. My wife and I both watch the camera from time to time (watching our new dog). She has her own account that I share the camera to. We’re not able to view it at the same time. I was thinking of purchasing premium, but I don’t think I want to invest in this..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Never stays online for more than a few hoursWhen it’s working this app is ok, but it cannot stay connected for more than a few hours, as per the many other reviews I’ve seen saying the same. I’ve done all the suggested steps to keep it running, and it’s not showing any connectivity issues, just disconnects for no reason then app has to be manually restarted on camera device. ✓ Loses connectionI struggled for a long time with this app. It works well when it is connected …. but it frequently goes offline. While it is connected it works well. The problem lies with the iPad that I’m running it on. Despite having deleted absolutely everything except Alfred, and also switching off automatic updates, the iPad still decides to post a notification from time to time. Every time it does this, Alfred goes offline. I’ve followed the instructions in the help and support areas and I’ve even contacted Alfred Support who simply reiterated the same instructions. After several months I have finally given up and abandoned Alfred. I think I paid for a year up front which I am cancelling today. I don’t want a partial refund … we try these things in good faith and if they don’t work, well we’ve learned!.Version: 2021.4.0
✓ Great idea, execution averageThe idea is brilliant, utilise hardware from an old or spare device most people have lying about home anyhow. However the CVR glitches wiping hours of footage for reasons unknown, no I have plenty of data storage left… it really should have audio features that record “moments” when a loud noise is heard or maybe a graph/chart display with the CVR to show when audio was detected. ✓ Alerts Are UnreliableThe paid version is only 30 GBP per year so I shouldn’t complain, but I’m disappointed at the unreliability. I’ve set up an old iphone 7 on the windowsill in the front window of my house, to keep watch on what is happening on my drive, and which of my neighbours’ cars are driving past my house. The Alerts and Events are ringing on my iPad every few minutes, whenever the sun suddenly comes out, or suddenly goes behind a cloud, and whenever the wind moves the tree by my drive, which of course I DO NOT WANT, but it produces ZERO ALERTS and ZERO EVENTS when the postman walks up my drive, and ZERO ALERTS and ZERO EVENTS when I get in my own car and drive off to work, and ZERO alerts and ZERO EVENTS when I return home and pull in and park on my drive. WHY??? Don’t try telling me to switch to another sensitivity or operational mode in the settings. I’ve tried all the available combinations. On the plus side, the App does keep a continuous record of what’s going on outside, and it’s easy to scroll back on the timeline (although without an Event marker, I have no idea what timeframe to search through), and there is a very useful zoom function..Version: 2023.13.0
✓ In no way dependable for paid/free serviceOne star because the one thing this app is supposed to do, it can’t. If you depend on this to monitor anything while away, don’t bother. This app is great if you’re constantly home and can be repeatedly reconnecting the camera device to the app, otherwise it’s totally pointless. I’ve gone through all of the suggested steps to improve stability of connection and despite having zero issues with anything on my end, it won’t stay connected for more than several hours at best. This means I get recordings of 1/3 of the time I’m away from home. I did pay thinking maybe the paid version would somehow be more secure, and it absolute is not. Serious shame because when working properly the app is great and has potential- but this issue has been around for as long the app (this was my third attempt using this app). ✓ Busted update not working on cellularI have a premium subscription and recently updated the app to view my cameras, now the app won’t load, connect to the cameras, or view events unless my iPhone 11 is on wifi. The app keeps timing out with an error that there is no internet connection when on cellular. I even tried turning off LTE, resetting network settings, updating iOS, and reinstalling the Alfred app a few times, but no luck. Even if I am in the app looking at the camera or events then disconnect wifi, it drops the connection immediately. All other apps I have that need internet work with no problem without wifi. Also trying to turn off notifications on a specific camera won’t stick. Once you leave the settings screen it turns itself back on..Version: 3.7.1

✓ Yet another app that misleads youReally not happy that I parted with £5 for a flash light to come on, how is that night vision developers? This review will no doubt fall on def ears as we now live in the era of TAKE, but hay I’ll try anyway. Developers how does activating my phones flash light pass as night vision please, could you explain? I also paid flipping £5 only to be told “something went wrong so please contact support” I mean yayyyy - nothing more welcoming for a customer than to be thrown straight into trouble shooting from day one. Thirdly, the standard camera quality is not standard it’s atrocious, I then pay £5 to get another blurred camera and now it’s suggesting that I need to pay another £16 for HD, you guys are worst than Fifa. Started with login issue and now just kicks me out constantly. Tried sending a message to the contact information and you get no reply. I’ve just paid £26 so it’s pretty poor really. ✓ DisappointingThis app is completely unfunctional, I have only had it work once and I’ve tried repeatedly to do all the instructions to update it and all the problem solving that it tells you to do. All the solutions and trouble shooting it gives , I’ve done. It still won’t work which has now been close to 15 to 20 times. It continues to not function. Which is funny to me because if I can’t see the demo version function properly why in the world would I pay for it. ✓ Stops Recording Way Too EarlyThe app is ok but kind of useless as it stops recording after it’s triggered by motion way way to early to be effective at any kind of surveillance. There should be an option for the user to choose minimum recording time after motion triggers start recording or at very least, let it keep recording for 30 seconds after the last motion was detected. Reply to developer: Notifications are great but when you get 900 notifications in 5 minutes, they become pointless. For security, having a longer recording of things that may be suspect is far far more important than having a ton of notifications. Can the cops use notifications to catch a bad guy who broke in to your house? Nope! But they can use a video of the offender or crime! If the video is cut extremely short and doesn’t capture most of the criminal activity, then what good is the app doing for security! You have to understand priorities of law, especially when you market this app as a security monitor. Point being, notifications are far far less important than actual video of potential offenders/offenses. ✓ Completely uselessEDIT 4: On the plus side, the app now works for the most part. There are currently four main issues, but basically it's relatively stable. Two of these issues have been present for years, while the other two are new. The issues are: 1. The automatic recording. You cannot turn it off, and it's not accurate. It pops up while I'm watching, and I can't turn it into manual recording until there's a point where it's not detecting anything anymore. Even worse, it'll falsely state that it's recording even when it's actually not. For example, someone will walk to a door, open it and then walk downstairs. The app will say that it's recording until after they disappear down the stairs, but in reality the recording stopped after they opened the door. That's around 5 seconds (or more) that was lost, which could be valuable time depending on what (or who) you're wanting to capture. 2. The motion detection and auto recording are both unreliable. Sometimes it will capture someone in poor lighting conditions erratically moving (or standing still) across the entire room. Other times, it'll stop recording halfway while they're steadily walking across a well-lit room. Why they programmed the automatic recording to sometimes stop before the 30 second limit is beyond me, especially when it's even stopped after only 5 or 10 seconds. Why not just record the whole 30 seconds every time, just in case? 3. A newer update has made it frustrating to watch while not on wifi. Previously, if the connection had a hiccup then the app would automatically refresh the feed. Now, a pop-up will appear and the feed will only refresh after you press on the confirmation. Why is this a feature? Why must I be glued to my phone? 4. 2 minute unskippable ads. Enough said. Anyway; the downside? The app is ****ing useless. Why? Because they're phasing out every phone I own with the exception of my current phone that I'm...currently using...which is the iPhone 12 Pro. They want you to either buy their security camera or use a newer phone, both of which defeat the entire point in this app. Or at least what this app was originally supposed to be. At this point, it'd be both better and cheaper to just buy an actual indoor camera instead. Unless you're the type who buys a new phone every year, you should go do that. ...Actually, you should also do that anyway because if you can afford to spend $1,000's for a new phone then you could certainly spend a $100 (or less) on a nice security camera instead of this app. Just sayin'. EDIT 3: Currently entirely useless. Gives me an error whenever I load the app, and if I can somehow manage to get to the event page no video will load. Even if it did work, I'm still annoyed because they keep cutting support for older phones. Wasn't that the point of the whole app in the first place? Or does it not matter anymore since they're now pushing their new product? EDIT 2: Going to take another star off for a creepy pop-up. It told me that they needed ads to keep the app free and asked me to click "allow" after I see the next pop-up, but in reality they want to track me across multiple apps. It's incredibly misleading and rather unnerving. EDIT 1: It used to be pretty on point, but fairly recently it went downhill. Possibly because it's now brighter outside so the light or any flashlights isn't used in the morning. This app almost only works in a very bright room, or with a bright flashlight in a very dark room. That's it. Even worse, if it actually DOES manage to detect someone, it'll stop recording after a few seconds...even if the person is moving or is actually /approaching/ the camera. I'm not going to pay $40 just to see if it fixes the problem. Even if it DID fix the problem; if it was a one-time fee, then maybe I would, but not $40 per year. The only reason I'm not rating it lower is because the streaming/recording feature works great. The problem is that I don't have the time or energy to monitor it 24/7. ✓ UnreliableI like it, but my connection report is a great example of how this app and system just does not work. It keeps dropping connection when the WiFi is perfectly fine and other phones are running perfectly. Every day I’m having to unlock the phone again to get the app working. Guided access does not help at all. ✓ DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. FIND ANOTHER CAMERA APP.I’ve used this app for a while, much longer than I should have. It CONSTANTLY has connectivity issues and the camera goes offline. This completely defeats the purpose of a camera, since you can’t get it back online remotely. They’ve told me before it was likely a network issue, but our network is perfectly fine, and strong. Currently, within the app, when checking the “camera status,” it says it’s online, “signed in successfully,” and “everything looks great!” However, the camera is NOT active. It is showing “This camera is offline.” It’s been doing this specifically for about a week now. When I got home from my last shift, I reset/turned off the app and phone, then set it all back up. It was working. Even recorded a couple motion clips (which usually NEVER works for more than a day after fixing everything). Then I get to work and the first time I try viewing the camera... this BS. I’m done with this app. I’m going back to Manything. I don’t remember near as many complications with that app. And it certainly recorded clips better, including just “sound” clips (if it’s dark and can’t pick up video). This is ridiculous and I feel like they’ve just become money hungry over time, making less options available for the free version, and more crashing..Version: 3.3.1

✓ AlfredCameraThis app used to work perfectly. Now it has advertisements that last 30 seconds and you can’t stop until 30 seconds have elapsed. They also did something that keeps the camera phone from adjusting the exposure for various lighting. The picture now is often all dark or completely white. Also when it notifies you of movement and you click to see what happened it goes to ad and you have to wait until the ad is done before you can see the recorded video. The whole thing is now designed to get you to pay. Also they used to make a point of being able to use your old phones but now they won’t allow you to use your old phones if the os is older than a certain level. There are way too many updates that only add more advertisements than ever improve the app. I am going to remove this app as it no longer is useful. I understand the need for ads but lately apps are making the ads so obnoxious and time consuming that the ads become counterproductive..Version: 2024.2.1
✓ Great idea, but......30 seconds of movement is most often broken up into 3-6 different videos. It’s never consistent. A 30 second video which is rare is the most you’ll get out of 1 motion detection. When it’s broken up into several different videos it omits a significant amount of time, thus losing valuable audio. With audio every second counts. Unfortunately, a very damning phone conversation was missing a whole lot of audio. Is it worthless? Not entirely. Could it be better? Absolutely! Do the faults improve with a paid subscription? I’m not going to risk finding out. Also, purchasing a paid version would definitely blow my cover. Is there another app like this? Not that I can find. Not with the high amount of reviews that Alfred has. To me a high amount of views shows popularity and promise. I also see that the developer responds to poor reviews. ✓ ImpressiveI have been terrified lately since we noticed someone was trying to open our door so I wanted to get a security camera and alarms for our home. But they are kind of pricey all together. And luckily I found this app and was able to put my old phones to use. Although it is slow to connect sometimes and notifies late, still thankful for all the features of it for only a few bucks for their premium. I was hoping that the delay would be eliminated once I've purchased the premium but it didn't. It still takes a few seconds to open up and view my camera. And I wish it has an alarm sound so if you caught someone then you can play it from the viewer's device to scare that person..Version: 1.12.1
✓ Why does an IP camera viewer require an account and to sign in with your google credentialsAll the reviews seem to be very good here, but it’s almost as if the same person was writing all of them, and any app that requires you to create an account and use your Google credentials to do it seems highly suspicious to me. I’ve never seen this requirement except on another app which ended up surreptitiously charging me four dollars per camera per month for a service it never gave notification for anything. And none of the review address this issue of requiring your google credentials to log in to an account for IP camera viewer? No one here has even mentioned this, seems crazy to me. ✓ Fails dailyWhen we started using Alfred it would fail every few days and now it fails daily, even multiple times per day. This started right after we paid for the full year after trying monthly for a while. We have two cameras that we use to see outside our place, one of which is to keep our dog safe. Very disappointed because it was half decent but now it’s pretty useless. Many attempts to get ahold of them have resulted in ZERO response back. ✓ Was a great appUntil recently, I loved this app (free version). Although there were a lot of ads, they were not obtrusive. However, Alfred recently started using ads that immediately take control of your entire screen, without the option of canceling out of the ad, forcing you to watch for a full minute, before accessing your security camera. I use this app to monitor a kiln that is firing. There are times when I need to see the kiln temperature immediately. Should these ads continue, I will stop using Alfred and stop recommending the free and paid versions to my friends. Too bad they are ruining a good thing! ✓ Get it working then leave it alone!Bug fixes are fine but whatever else is being done that has caused the bugs in the first place needs to stop. This app was great when I first got it but the number of times the entire app or separate features have stopped working is becoming an issue. ✓ In love with AlfredRevised: Originally, it surpassed my expectations and It seemed perfect for keeping an eye on a second home in another state. My neighbor there has it as well, so we watch each other’s houses and use the cameras to their best advantage between the two properties.
