Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter for Negative User Reviews

Ok 🤷‍♀️😐The app is good..but there r so many products that physically cannot be reached like iPhone, holidays, tv. Even if we visit the video ol the time we only get 1 coin unless we pay for the subscriptions... which is nothing.. also there r offers on but they r expensive.. especially the delivery fee.. Another thing is if we transfer the coins we cannt usee them so whats the points.??? Repetitive offers are so annoying as well. Or 50% of on certain things and at the end the product costs €\$\£100 Or more. Some students already get good offers or discounts with their student cards or unidays or student beans. So it irrelevant for students. Also, now the everyday entry/draw prize. I spent more coins but always said “try next time” even i do it after they launch it. Useless. It doesn’t work! Please review the offers before posting.l with right knowledge 😑😑😑😑 overall it is a good/smart app 👍..Version: 36.1

Doesn’t give you the right bout of sweat coins for ur stepsI walked 20000 steps yesterday and only got 0.03 sweat coins. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND.Version: 123.1

⭐️You need to fix this how came we don’t get the prize ????.Version: 28.1

What’s the pointEverything is out of stock. So what’s the point in earning sweat coin if I can’t spend them..Version: 127.0

Conversion rate is frustratingI usually don’t write reviews for apps but I’m starting to feel as though this app is unfair. I see a lot of reviewers applauding this app for attempting to motivate people to get outside and walk and that is great , however I’m a mail carrier so it’s my job to walk. I’ve had sweatcoin since January (2018) and have had 1.4M steps converted. But I only have a little over 1,200 sweatcoins. That’s insane to me, 1.4M steps only gets me 1,200 sweatcoins. Plus I’m on the breaker subscription (cost 30 sweatcoins) since the app informed me I was losing steps with the other subscription I had. I wouldn’t recommend this app to people who just walk casually and are expecting to get rewarded for it. If you’re like me and will walk a lot regardless it might be worth it because you’re not losing anything. Even if it takes forever to accumulate enough sweatcoins for you to get something useful. The conversion shouldn’t be so stingy however. But I’ll keep using it for now simply because like I said I’m not losing anything. As of right now they’re are some decent $50 gift cards that will cost you 3,650 sweatcoins , the biggest offers cost 20,000 sweatcoins so good luck with that. The other offers aren’t worth mentioning ..Version: 9.0

Stopped registering steps for coinsI used to like having the app cause it didn’t require too much attention. However, apparently by the new year started, they didn’t stop tracking your steps (like it’s registered that i did 8000 steps yesterday) but they stopped giving you the coins for these steps if you do not go into the app specifically for this. What is the point of letting an app track my location and movement if it’s not gonna give me what it promises? It has sooo many issues (ridiculous marketplace, paid membership, even more ridiculous marketplace for paid membership etc) but this was the last drop. I didn’t delete the app even when they didn’t let me in the giveaway even though I completed 250k steps (and i sent them a screenshot of their app to prove), but sweatcoin finally lost me after 3 years of using it. Deleted the app and will let people know what kind of an app it is as much as i can..Version: 109.2

Offers are poorI’ve been using the app for months now and earned about 400 coins. I have not seen anything I would want to spend them on and the offers seem always to be the same. Also many of them are only discounts which means you will end up spending real money anyway, which seems to defeat the purpose of the app. Like right now I can get 30% off a watch or donating a tree. Great? The marathon offers would take literally years, maybe decades to afford, and whose the say the company is even around after that time? I’ll keep using the app since it doesn’t cost anything to keep earning coins and see if something better comes up, but disappointed so far. Running heroes is better..Version: 22.1

Love this appIt motivates me to get fit by giving me the thought that I would get prizes from walking around.Version: 4.2

Step Conversion IssuesI’ve had sweatcoin since 2019. I have a little over 1.1k coins. No they can’t be used to convert to real money. It’s only used to buy things they have in the market. For example, you can buy a coupon/code with the sweat coins to get a certain amount off on a product by the people they’ve partnered with. It’s an okay app. I would say the best thing on there are the items you have to bid for but bids can go as high as 17k-25k sweat coins or more. It’s hard to get that amount unless you walk an insane amount. The main issue I’m having right now is in regards to the step conversion. As of lately, it seems I’m being cheated out of one sweatcoin. It’s 1 sweatcoin for every 1 thousand steps but when the day is over I notice that I’ve been getting one less than what I’m supposed to be getting. For example, yesterday I had 5 thousand steps but only got 4 sweatcoins and on another day I had 10k steps but only got 9 sweatcoins. What’s up with that? I haven’t had this issue before until now. It seems to be occurring after the new update. I’m not sure though..Version: 118.0

Bad customer serviceThe rewards offered aren’t worth it. I paid for a reward with half Sweat coins and half of my own money. And the company never sent me my item. I reached out to sweatcoin customer service and the company I purchased from customer service several times and it was never resolved. The only suggestion offered by sweatcoin staff was to keep trying to contact the company directly. Never got a refund and never got my item. Very disappointed..Version: 125.0

Beware of this appIf I could give this app a zero star, I would. 1) For you to get any real prize, say a $50 gift card, you’ll have to walk OUTSIDE for 20 miles, that’s over 180,000 steps COUNTED. 2) This app doesn’t count all your steps. I just did an experiment of walking to the mall (it said 4310) and back and it said it only saw 51 steps. That’s $.04 sweatcoins. Mind you, I did not walk inside the mall, just from my doorstep to the the bus stop in front the mall and back (I live close by). The amount of steps on my Apple Watch was 7215 for both directions, while this app saying something different. Over 2800 steps off. 3) It drains your battery life significantly while open in the background. 4) it using your location constantly with no real reward for it. And I don’t see why it’s using the GPS if it cannot calculate the amount of steps it would take from point A to point B CORRECTLY. Makes no sense. 5) You’ll have to pay money for these so call “prizes” at a 3% discount rate (when you do the calculations). This is nothing but a scheme for you to sell your location and activity for nothing really. While forcing you to spend money on things you really don’t NEED. It’s a profitable business for the developers while us users lose. In conclusion, is this what you worth users? Sell yourself to someone who’s paying well for you, cause at the end of the day, that’s all this about, cyber prostitution. Just keeping it real. *App deleted*.Version: 12.0

HOW DO WE GET REWARDSI was told about this and you earn money for walking so I downloaded it and the fact it has to access a bunch of crap is completely stupid and better yet they said that we would give you a gift card k cool when? In 5 years? I’ve had it for a week now and almost 10,000 steps a day and no reward. I’m about to delete it because I’m starting to think it’s fake. Excuse me while I go walk around the world and see if I get nothing (Probably won’t). I just checked my phone and sweat coin and it was the same (pat on the back there sweat coin) but then I checked my Fitbit charge 2 and it said 3,028 steps my phone (and sweat coin) said like 1,600 something. I’m not necessarily blaming Apple I’m blaming sweat coin because why can’t you like connect too my Fitbit bit you can connect to a Apple Watch makes ALOT of sense. Also it’s like 1,000 steps a sweat coin right? (That’s acodring to me) if the developers are purposely doing this I might as well delete sweat coin it’s basically useless, except for taking up my storage I’ll say that. So I literally just found out how to spend it so I went and not some stuff then accidentally put on 010 think it would be 0.10 but I couldn’t see the . because I have a cracked phone screen . So.. can I get a refund or something? Also it would be nice if Sweatcoin would like send you a gift card and ask for a address would be nice then buying a bunch of at of this world random stuff.Version: 32.0

Just is a bad appI downloaded the app and I saw that you can buy a pair of wireless headphones for 5 crypto currency so I decided to waste 20 minutes of my day to go for a walk, I ended up making 3.28 crypto currency so yes the amount of money they give you Is good I'm not going to lie. So I had decided to buy the earphones and it was only a 50% discount and I’m very disappointed as I thought that you can buy them for 5 crypto currency they never said anything about a 50% discount so I was very ecstatic to buy them but that happened.I am very tempted to delete the app, and I see many ad’s about this app so I decided to download it but just in my opinion it’s a very disappointing app. I will never use this again, I read through the reviews and there all bad. So I suggest people to beware before downloading this app. Once again I’m very disappointed..Version: 125.0

StepsNone of my steps are counting even though they are actually steps..Version: 22.0

Good appCan really see thought and idea of this app, makes sense. Giving you something to drive & focus on. Can see upgrades and updates happening frequently which shows the team behind put a lot of thought into the development to make it the best as they possibly can. Responding to all these negative comments and welcoming all suggestions. I genuinely haven’t bought anything from the app so don’t really know about reliability but I think it’s safe to say it’s legit! Only thing I’m unsure of.. if me and a mate partner up to build up coins to get a big reward and split it.. is this possible? Really think it should be. Regardless of who’s got what we both have put the effort in & both have chosen to do this. It’s not like it’s fake/false coin build up its genuine & should just be allowed. It makes the end goal seem so distant maybe this is why people feel as if the end target is unbearable and negativity and slander occurs. I think it should be whatever way shape or form you want to reach the target you set as long as it’s in the guidelines, genuine it shouldn’t matter :).Version: 43.1

Waste of timeThe app is a great concept, but incredibly poorly executed. The main weakness is the app only tracks outdoor steps (which admittedly is conceded by the creators). I don’t see why the app couldn’t just link in with other fitness trackers, which so many other similar apps are able to do. I have always had the app on the non-battery saver setting, but for a lot of days it didn’t register any steps, despite significant outdoor travel. And ultimately, if I run a marathon a day for about three years I might be able to cash in some sweat coins for something of substance. Otherwise the rewards are a bit ordinary unless you can find some sucker to buy the coins off you (and who needs another random worthless digital currency). All these teething problems are not new, but seemingly nothing is being done to fix any of this. So the app’s sole function appears to be to serve as a battery drain. Don’t bother..Version: 21.0

It’s okThe apps okay but I did a 30 min walk to yours the boost it said I did such and such amount of steps and then when it ended it said I did no steps and earned nothing. I don’t know what happened but I would like to know. I would also like if you could like chose a thing that you want to get a and then save up for it and the thing you want to buy is still there. What I’m saying is the I would like to favourite items that you want to save your sweat coins up Thank you.Version: 79.0

SCAM!!They provide fake rewards like this Airpods I ordered ages ago and I had to pay for shipping and it never arrived. I’m not sure if the the whole app is a scam but they definitely supported scam websites.Version: 99.0

Keeps crashingIdea is great but app keeps crashing.Version: 4.2

Extremely poor calculation on SwetI been monitoring this app for few days and all I can say that this app is cheating. Been doing boost 2x to increase coins , but guess what been watching live steps going up while time is almost up and when I got time stopped it’s showed 1620 steps within those 20 minutes, but when calculating took place for those 2x then it only shows 1004steps?? Even 4 year old child would laugh about it! Also during the day if you walk for crypto then check your transactions that is not correct also. While doing exercise on treadmill that finished 21:24 and walking around the house as well additional steps, but last transition to crypto showed last steps down 21:00 and that’s it. And that’s means you are loosing a lot coins and crypto Swet. I did highlight this fact of lack of calculation and been said make sure your phone does background updates regularly which is always on! If you are one of those people who likes quality over quantity this app isn’t for you. Definitely not worth paying for that premium service, even on trial it’s poor, trust me! Avoid!.Version: 144.0

SweatcoinThey give you a voucher to purchase something and it doesn’t work..Version: 28.0

Doesn’t convert stepsI’ve been using it for a week. Also tried the 2X booster and almost had 8000 steps each day but it always showed 0 sweat coins earned from 0 steps. Useless app.Version: 93.0

Bad offers on the Aus versionI love this app. I use it every day and it's great to be getting rewarded for exercising. I thought that the rewards were pretty good, and that maybe I just hadn't found ones that interested me or missed the really cool ones because they sell out, which is totally fine and would be solved by me using the app more. but then I went on a trip to Hawaii, and got access to the United states marketplace. it's clearly superior, with offers that aren't just tea, "calmly" and personal trainers on repeat. it's got offers that I would actually buy, plus finally some marathon offers that are actually achieveable!! I love your app and the influence you're making, but please, I beg you please, give a bit more love to the rest of the world. I want to use this app, I really do, but I need you guys to work with me. keep up the great work guys, pls give us Aussies some better marathon offers and some more interesting deals :).Version: 25.0

Coming from a 13 year oldI’ve have this app for a couple of weeks almost a month and I’ve made about 40$. Me being young and not really paying attention I thought nothing was wrong about this app. Although it says that it pays you for your steps and for the daily exercise it gives you cause of quarantine, it doesn’t pay in cash. I know most apps don’t pay in cash but they go onto a credit card or a prize, but I’ve been looking and can’t seem to find how to add a card to the app to transfer the money I make to the card. I’ve seen that what you make goes as credits to gas and shopping. People downloaded this app and walk and stay fit to make money but not understanding that what you make might not even be very helpful for when you want to go online shopping or going to grab a lunch. Another problem I’ve noticed was that you can walk 1,000 steps for example and it would only count about 200 of the steps you took, which drops down the cents you could have made accurately. I’ve talked to my mom about this and we’ve both agreed that it was a scam and that it was a waist of time. I personally think that this app shouldn’t be downloaded and should be deleted if already downloaded. For a 13 year old I didn’t think I would be able to notice these mistakes, but they are way too noticeable and causes major problems..Version: 45.0

Bad programmingThis app would be nice if it didn’t force shut down every time you start walking somewhere. I clock 10,000 steps daily and yet it only registers 2000. Don’t waste your time in this app, better alternatives out there.Version: 21.0

Scam appPurchased a watch about 3 months ago using sweatcoins and never came. Contacted the company and sweatocin. Sweatocin finally got back to me with a response “I have contacted the company to get in touch with you” Never heard from the company. Out of pocket about $20 in shipping fees. Sweatcoin- don’t blame the pandemic as you have in other responses. I doubt a pandemic would delay a o purchase arriving by 3 months when other online orders have come by in sufficient time. Don’t waste your time using this app. To add to sweatcoins reply- I have used the in app ticket. The response from sweatcoin was- the company will be in contact with you shortly. The company never responded..Version: 102.0

Nice idea, isnt quite working thoughThe idea of this app is great - get exercising and you can earn prizes. It’s motivational and will encourage more people to walk around. The only downside is, after a year or 2 of using this app, I’ve accumulated thousands of points, and there is very little to spend it on. In the past they’ve had free trials on things like Tidal music service, but today when I looked, all I could exchange 2 years worth of points for in my area is a ‘discount’ off a spa day. If they had a much bigger variety of prizes, it would be worth it, but there just isn’t. They keep teasing that you can get an iPhone or a holiday, but I’ve worked out that it would take 24 years to earn enough daily points to afford one of those. There is an option to pay premium, and be allowed to earn extra points per day, but again, unless there were better prizes/offers, there isn’t any motivation to spend money on that..Version: 23.0

CrashesCan't even load the welcome page before it crashes out of the app..Version: 4.2

Interesting appInteresting app but I am still unsure how I feel about it I got a 50% off discount on a sports watch to then go on the website and see that they were offering me 45% off regardless. I am very in between with this app I’ll give it a few more weeks and then decide if it’s actually worth my time.Version: 95.0

SICK TO MY STOMACH😤😤😤You make me SICK!!!!! I open this stupid dumb app every freaking day for 2 years and you know what I was able to get with all those steps, blood and tears? Air!! I get freaking air, I walk 20,000 steps in 3 days and what’s my prize? Air! And then they have the nerve to offer a premium account 😂😭😮‍💨🤣🤣🤣🤣I paid for it because it was the only way I could get more sweat could be eventually you just stop getting them when you reach a certain amount. 2 million Sweatcoins and nothing to show for it pathetic!!!! I open this app again today and I started exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms this is the worst app in the history of the human existence and the spiritual one. At first I enjoyed this app because despite practically having nothing of value in the store I enjoyed a few premium pandora accounts and tidal accounts that’s literally the best thing I have ever gotten. You need to shut this app down until you my able to go to a thrift store or whatever non-profit organization you go to get your free cheap absolutely useless and meaningless items. If I had to choose between my gf having a child while she’ has sweat coin on her phone And saving another persons life a person who doesn’t have sweat coin I would force my girl to have a abortion so she won’t have to live with the pain of this app..Version: 142.0

Terrible customer serviceThe app itself is good, it’s a great idea, but customer service is pathetic. I write two emails before I realised that you only get a machine generated response relating to the topic you selected, with the exact same information available online under said topic. I then replied to the emails with the original question that wasn’t answered and got no response. Their website says the app can be used with any Apple Watch series 2 and on, but the steps that my Apple Watch 6 count aren’t converted into Sweatcoins, only the steps on my phone are. Seeing as I don’t carry my phone with me everywhere I go it seems a bit pointless to continue using the app..Version: 79.0

I would give 0 starsIf I could, I would give this app zero stars because they have the worst customer service. The app itself and the premise is relatively fine. However, I was paying for the Trouble maker plan for a couple of years, and about 8 months ago my steps completely stopped being converted. I tried all the tips and tricks that are offered on the help page, emailed the company over 5 times, and never was able to get my account tracking steps. So basically for over 8 months I was paying this app to do absolutely nothing. I assumed the company would eventually email me back and restore the steps from the months the app wasn’t converting, but I am yet to ever hear a single word. After deleting the app and restoring it multiple times, my steps finally started tracking again. I will no longer be paying for the app though because the customer support is totally useless and they will willingly take your money without the exchange of a service. I will keep using the app because I have been for over 4 years and will soon cash out a large amount of coins on a prize or something, but I will delete it immediately after that because these people are terrible. Apple makes me give 1 star minimum, but please count my review as 0 stars..Version: 119.0

Friend invitesHey there I’ve invited a few people and they have accepted it through my invite, downloaded the app but I never got the coin bonus for getting them to sign up!.Version: 126.0

Not happyBrought a BornTea product with my earnings from sweatcoin. I only had to pay shipping. It arrived and I was very pleased however 3 weeks later I got a big amount of money taken from my account from BornTea paying the full price of the product. Not impressed.Version: 30.0

Crashes within the first 10 secondsEvery time I open it, the app closes within 10 seconds..Version: 4.2

What about Canadians???I noticed that the majority of your offers in marketplace are for US only????? Will my sweat coin be converted to crypto in the fall, or is this just another US only option? What’s the point of even advertising this app to Canadians if they can’t partake in anything you have to offer?.Version: 127.0

It sucksWhen you go to buy something after you save it up you swipe and it takes all your sweat coin so you’re on the website to order it and it asked for your information so I entered it and it says we don’t ship to Canada you guys didn’t say anything about not shipping to Canada and when I go back because it won’t ship to me I don’t have all of my stuff and if I knew they didn’t ship to Canada I would’veDonated it.Version: 131.0

Purchasing problemHey sweat coin the app is pretty good as an idea but my problem is that theres things that i just don’t understand like for example why is there things that cos like 2000 sweat coins no one can reach that except if they walk around everyday every month until you have months of time spent on this app but then theres problems on this application like when i try go into the store place it just doesn't load i wait for minutes and minutes and it wont load and it has nothing to do with my internet because i tried with hotspot data and all kinds of ways when i go around exercising just to get the stuff then after whilst paying the app what you want you don't let me get my payback for this this ain’t a hate review its just trying to help telling you what i would like as a improvement and help me with.Version: 9.1

Ads go black halfway throughCan’t get bonuses because ads go black. Please fix.Version: 146.0

Prizes out of reach, Pricing upside downMembership pricing is upside down. The price per unit should go down with the larger size product you buy, giving shoppers an incentive to upgrade/switch past their current choice. You get 5 sweat coins a day (150/mo) for free. The shaker level gets you an additional 150/mo for a cost of .031 sweatcoins per sweatcoin enabled to earn. The quaker level only gets you an additional 300 sweatcoins per month potential, but costs 20 sweatcoins a month, or .066 sweatcoins per sweatcoins enabled to earn. Breaker level gets you 450/mo on top of the 150 free sweatcoins, but costs 30 sweatcoins - for again .066 sweatcoins per sweatcoins enabled to earn. The shaker level is actually the best priced option, if you stick in it for the long haul to earn sweatcoins, but it would take almost 5 years to earn enough to get the large prizes (10 sweatcoins a day + 1 free claim). So either the pricing strategy is upside down, or you are purposing pricing the products backward to limit the possible sweatcoins earned to prevent buyers from ever being able to claim the top prizes. 5 years seems like a big investment just to earn a $1000 PayPal gift card. I could use the time spent walking outside to instead get a part time job, with family, or anywhere in general that isn’t trying to rip me off..Version: 8.3

Pointless AnymoreThis app when it was still in development had great potential. Unfortunately it became all about the money, just spammed with ads or trying to bid stuff or buy stuff on subscription which is clearly affiliate based. You can’t really spend the coin on anything worth while, not without subscribing to some junk. Very sad to see it come to this, but I have deleted it. Plenty of other apps out there to monitor exercise for free that don’t try to craftily rinse you of money. Pointless having an incentive to earn sweat coins if you can’t use them! I used to like the transfer/withdrawal function but you can’t use it anymore now I have 227 odd sweat coin that sit doing nothing. Also the latest reviews they show you are mostly 2 years old, I imagine because a lot are similar to this response. Sorry but you got greedy and forgot about your product and customers happiness..Version: 75.0

IMPORTANTMy free spins don’t even show up on my app. I checked everywhere but it doesn’t give me my free spins. Today I got a notification earlier and when I pressed it nothing happened. It just took me to the app. When I told my friend about it his worked but mine still didn’t. I also checked my updated recently on App Store and it wasn’t there. I checked my list of what needs to be updated and nothing was there. when I search the app up then it shows that the app needs to be updated, but when I update it and then when I go onto it, it still doesn’t show the free spins. Please fix it man you’re actually sad and chubby if you don’t. I really like this app and want to continue it but if it doesn’t work then what’s the point?.Version: 149.1

Not BadNow I've had this app for a few days now. Although experienced crashing on the third day. Seems fine now. The idea of this is pretty innovative and I like how it works. But the offers for the app are far too extreme. These offers will take you years to redeem. 20,000 SWC with the most expensive membership will take you 3+ years, and that's by taking 20,000 steps a day. Overall, the app isn't so bad. But it's the biggest battery drainer. Leaving the app running in the background can drain 30% of your battery overnight depending on what phone your using. (I'm using iPhone 6). The app somewhat motivates people to move more. The subscriptions are pretty fair that you just have to pay using your sweatcoin you earned. I recommend this app to those who move a lot and has a good phone. I recommend iPhone 7 and above. I'd be happy if the app can fixed so that it doesn't use as much battery. I'd like to see what this app will reach in the future. I'd also want to be able to withdrawal the coins that you have actually earned instead of redeeming it for rewards that will take years to complete. There are small rewards you can earn but it isn't for everyone. The app is satisfactory and I recommend this for very active people..Version: 6.1

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAMWhere do I even begin?? Okay- so I’ve started out with sweat coin and there are SO many issues honestly; 1, the accuracy of the tracker only accounts to about 10-25%, which means that of the 7,000 steps I walk in a day I only get the credit for about 5,000 of those- a 2,000 difference. 2, when I finally chose an item ( the asleep gummies for five SWEATCOINS, NOT MONEY), at the checkout I was asked to fill out my credit card information IN DETAIL AND I QUOTE, “ Enter your name exactly as it’s written on your card”. I know I’ve had my moments but c’mon I’m not an idiot. More into detail upon this subject, when you go to “ pay” for said item in specific writing one of the steps claims that a discount will automatically be applied to the purchase, which means that my credit card information isn’t and SHOULDN’T be needed at all!! However this is not the case and NO WHERE in the app is there a discount for purchases related to the app. None. Go look, please. I was recommended this app and was told it wasn’t a scam, however upon further investigation this was proven invalid and completely ridiculous. If something doesn’t give within the next 24 hours, I’m deleting the app and having the person who recommended it to me delete it as well. Please don’t trust apps like this they’re all scams and if you think they’re not- check your credit card and payment history. Double check all of it..Version: 112.0

Good concept, some problemsThe concept of this app is good, encouraging people to move more and offering an incentive to do so. Unfortunately the offers you receive to spend your coins are nothing but a waste of time, either a small discount on sites that already have discounts or new start ups that you’ve never heard of and offering nothing of interest. Moving to the monthly challenges rewarding you for walking 250,000 steps to earn a guaranteed 25 coins and entry into a prize draw. The step tracking is all but broken for this almost because they want to ensure you can’t earn the 25 coins or entry to the (probably non existent) prize draw. For example so far this month the app has tracked 70,000 steps in 8 days but the challenge is only showing 53,000, each month you’d need to walk at least an extra 40,000 or more steps to be close to completing the challenge. Some positives like the encouragement to get out and move more but also many issues that of fixed could make this a really good app.Version: 151.0

Needs Work!!!!It’s so annoying because I can only get 5 sweet coins a day which at this rate will take me almost 2 years to get a $3,560 prize. You should make the maximum 10 sweat coins and the membership thing 20. Because won’t that make people exercise more because they’ll believe they actually have a chance to get a decent prize within a year? Also the prizes are sooooo expensive. Like even if you have the membership thing you still need to have the app for 5 years to get the $20,000 prize and that’s only if they walk 10k outside everyday for those 5 years. I understand you’re trying to get people to exercise and move more but it won’t work after people realize it’s a waste of time. My friend just deleted the app last year & he walks a lot so he got up to 3,000 sweat coins. He didn’t want his progress to be wasted so he transferred them to me. But to get any of the really cool prizes I can’t use the sweat coins that my friend transferred to me? It’s not like my friend is using that 3,000 so why can’t I just except it & use it for a 20,000 prize? It makes NO SENSE! Why have a transfer button if there’s a lot of prizes you can’t use the transferred sweat coins on..Version: 57.0

Inaccurate step conversionThis app is somewhat motivating, but very frustrating. My biggest issue is their algorithm for step conversion—it’s wildly inaccurate and undercounts my steps by at least 50% every day. Today for example, I did my 20 minute daily boost - inside, on a treadmill, walking with my phone in my hand. I could literally see the steps ticking up in the app during this time, and before the boost ended, I had over 2000 steps in. Then, when the boost was complete and the steps were “calculated”, the app told me that I had somehow taken a measly 356 steps in that time! SECONDS before, it said I had taken 2000+. My Apple Watch and phone also said that I had taken over 2000 steps, and once I exited out of the boost, my total steps had increased by over 2000 as well. But for some reason, Sweat Coin decided that only a fraction of my steps actually counted. Seriously?! To make matters worse, I actually PAY for this app because I assumed that it would be the fastest way to get coins for the offers and products…since I’m constantly and consistently being inaccurately converted, though, it’s probably taking just as long as if it were accurately counting my steps without any “boosts” or bonuses. I feel cheated and will definitely not be renewing my subscription. The rewards are fine. The app itself is attractive. I do find it motivating to try to increase my activity and distance. But omg, walking 15k steps in a day and only getting credit for 7k is just BAD..Version: 86.0

Small bug but love the appReally not a bad app, just having problems with the location. I have recently left the country I started the app with. It keeps telling me to change back to my old country all though I’m not there anymore and I don’t know how to fix? I tried to change back to my original country but now it is saying there are errors. I do like the app, I love the concept and it’s no effort at all, just go about your day. But the prizes are crazy big and near impossible to achieve and just the one bug that’s a little frustrating.Version: 9.0

Everything is out of stockLame app. Everything that you can buy with these ‘sweatcoins’ seems to be out of stock or only available in the US. Also wouldn’t it make more sense to make one sweatcoin worth one dollar. Feels like a racket to me. CashWalk is way way better..Version: 128.0

Not fairMost of the good offers are American really? I’m Canadian and so far what I’m getting in the shop is maddening so plz find worldwide offers!.Version: 23.0

Fine but quite a few bugsI think this app is a great idea and motivates you to walk but i walked over 5000 steps and i force send them only to be analysed and then disappear this happened 3 times before I searched what was going wrong. The forums suggested my GPS chip was buggy so i got the app they said to use and they were right, my chip was buggy so I reset my GPS and it still gave me bad results. So i took my friends phone who has a working sweatcoin and did the same but his GPS also seemed “buggy” yet he was converting his sweatcoin. So i go to open my app again and it asked for my location which makes sense i reset my GPS but i press yes and then it crashes so i open it again and it tells me to turn location on. i go to settings and the location button is missing so i delete the app download it again and now all its doing is crashing, so i give up.Version: 32.0

Need some changesThis app is a really good app and you can earn and spend money on the app but the one thing I would change about this is you work so hard to get up to let’s say 10,000 steps and you only get three dollars out of it... but everything else is so expensive like to buy The marathon items it’s like 20,000 virtual money that you earn up... I think we need to be able to earn more “money” in this app... please change this.Version: 22.1

Stops/ not converting stepsI don’t really need this app for me to get into walking. It’s a frustrating app, if you ask me. You walk for half an hour and you just get a few converted steps. Like I said I don’t need this because I walk a lot as part of my work. I don’t cheat on my walking. Its more like this app is cheating on me. Don’t bother downloading this app, it’s a waste if space on your phone..Version: 22.0

ScamWhat a scam this app is. I’ve been using it for about a year now and got over 3000 sweat coins. So I’ve tried to buy something with my sweat coins several times and low and behold I haven’t received one product.Version: 131.0

Not badA lovely app that I throughly enjoy. It’s fun watching your coins rack up with the more steps you do, however the coins don’t really hold much value unless you have over 25k of them which sadly will take several years of doing 20 thousand steps a day to a mass. There is the odd prize draw which you can use some of your coins to enter, but I couldn’t even win a packet of crisps on one of their last prize draws so I don’t even bother entering for the big stuff like games consoles and cars. I’ll still keep using it because it’s fun collecting coins but they really do have little to no value. In summary, really cool concept, however, near impossible to purchase anything with a fraction of value with the coins you make in your first couple of years..Version: 146.0

Terrible app overallThis app has really terrible step conversion rates. They tell you it’s 91% of your total steps, but how does 24,417 steps only get converted to 4700 steps? You guys are such a rip off. There’s never anything to claim for Canadians and other countries, so what’s the point? Not worth the effort. Been using the app for over a year and still nothing to claim outside of Calm app. 🙄.Version: 26.0

Really good but with nigglesThis is a great app for encouraging people to walk and move. Yes it would be great if we could get to the top prizes faster and not spend years trying to get there or use our coins for healthy products in stores but it’s new so we have to give credit for trying. The problem I’ve been facing is that I’m unable to press the Daily Boost anymore! It did used to work but recently it keeps going round and round saying ‘Analysing’ but it won’t let me actually do anything with it. Even when I leave it alone for 10-20 mins with the app open to try to clear the issue, nothing happens. I’ve tried the standard Off and On, deleting then reinstalling but nothing has helped so I’ve missed out on quite a few days now of being unable to Boost and have thus just left my phone at home. It is a great app for starting off with but there are niggles to adjust!.Version: 51.0

SCAMSUS the premium item is LITERALLY ALWAYS sold out and they never notify you of when it is available so clearly this is just a HUGE SCAM wastes your battery, tracks you, premium is a SCAM and a JOKE avoid at all costs.Version: 151.1

Questionable...So I have had this app for a few months now, and honestly I think it’s pretty great. Personally, I don’t care about the bigger gifts because let’s be honest, it is unrealistic for the large majority of us. This app is okay in a sense that we can get discounted products, however I’m questioning the sites on your offers. I bought the BornTea bottle a while back and I want to cancel my subscription because I just can’t afford it now. It is not a necessity and I’m unemployed, so it’s not ideal. Both BornTea’s page and the Sweatcoin page claim to have cancellation any time. However, there is not option (at least I couldn’t find) for cancellation. Therefore I’m starting to question the brands you offer to us users and whether their practices are proper?? I saw other other sites that cancellation is is not possible and they’ll continue sending products and taking your money..Version: 29.0

❗️MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE❗️I understand that this a small team (this fact was mentioned in the help section of the app). But I've contacted the developer three times now about a very serious issue and to date, no one has responded back. Not even an auto-generated email saying 'hey, your feedback has been received, your ticket is in a que'. I'm literally logged into SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT. The only way this could have happened is that my phone number (which I haven't had for very long) was attached to someone else's account before. Since we don't create login credentials during setup, there's no way for me to sign out of this individual's account and for me to sign into my own. This is a MAJOR security issue. Absolutely nothing in the forums or the help section is going to help me resolve this issue; I need to talk to an actual person. If you have time to make an app and update it (shows last update 4 days ago), you've got to make time for your customers too. Use a CRM platform with a ticketing system, there's plenty to choose from. And one more thing... this is a big one and I probably won't use this app until they change this... allow users to create login credentials during setup so something like what I'm experiencing doesn't happen to someone else. People's phone numbers change sometimes..Version: 32.0

Good but the algorithm is waaaaay off!I love the concept of this app - I’ve been running it for a couple of years and check it every few days. But that algorithm. God, that algorithm is so far off. I check my steps daily with both a digital step counter and my Apple Watch and do an average of around 16,500 steps a day, seldom less, often more. I do long-distance running as well, always with the app in the background. The app usually logs far less than half of my steps the other two devices record. Give it up - you’ll never get the £1,000 or the holidays. It’s not going to happen. If you want to make money with steps, download HealthyWage or something. But as a fun, sometimes irritating thing to have going in the background while you spend a decade building up the Sweatcoins to actually buy something, it’s quite good. I won’t be deleting it (I’m stubborn), but I wouldn’t proactively recommend it to anyone either..Version: 49.0

DisappointedI’ve been a user for a year now and I gotta say sweatcoin is a huge disappointment in what it gives, firstly you will not earn any money unless you are willing to painfully walk 50 km each day for 3 years. Secondly the app has walking limits meaning you can only earn for example 5 sweat coins a day, and to earn more you have to pay real money, pretty ironic. Aside from the big offers which take years to achieve, the only other offers are either discounts or monthly subscriptions to meditation apps many don’t even use or want. This app has been around for years and still nothing has changed, I am very disappointed in the developers of this app and hope that no one downloads and wastes their time on this app. (This is coming from someone who has been begging for years for this app to change but sadly no...😔).Version: 70.0

Useless Battery Drainer and Waste of TimeI used to love Sweatcoin. Ever since the recent update that apparently now tracks indoor steps - it now tracks none at all. Neither outdoor or indoor. It’ll literally say that I’ve walked 10,000+ steps for example, and then say absolutely zero steps were converted from that. Reached out so many times to receive the same response that it’s my GPS, but even after following their instructions, nothing has changed. They won’t even look into their own “improved algorithm” and will blame me instead. It’s been on the whole time and drains the living daylights out of my battery, even during the night. I replaced my battery and it turned out it was literally Sweatcoin making my phone go from 100% to a dead battery in just a few hours. It NEVER used to do that... But the update has sent it down a spiral and I have deleted the app for good. Used to be a great app but now it’s just a huge pain in the neck. So disappointed because it used to run so well in the background and actually could validate steps, even before indoor steps were allowed. Not sure how they managed to mess it up so badly. It’s not worth the download or anyone’s else’s time. I learnt the hard way so I hope anyone reading this doesn’t have to do the same. Enjoy your walking - without Sweatcoin..Version: 38.0

Frustratingly getting worse!I’ve been using this app for about two years now. Up until the massive update where you decided to count indoor steps I didn’t have a problem. Ever since the massive update I’ve had nothing but issues and problems with the app! None of my steps are counted and converted properly. Indoor or outdoor, and now you’ve now decided to add a new feature to it without fixing the old?! I daily reach over 10,000 steps and do a daily run but still the conversion is nowhere near that at all! I have reached out to support on multiple occasions only to find the same response with no help and just copy and pasted emails. Not only that but my battery life has gotten worse since and I find myself having to charge my phone several times a day! Reading through your reviews it seems I’m not the only one having problems. I have tried all solution offered via reviews or your “support team” and nothing works. Honestly I think it’s time to go back to the drawing board and fix the continual mistakes that are being swept under the rug. As I said before, your reply, I have tried your “solutions” and nothing works. Clearly I’m not the only one having this issue. So once again, go back to the drawing board and fix the problems you originally created and give us back a decent working app!.Version: 45.0

Apple Watch support very disappointing and limitedThe app itself is good on my phone, though as someone who owns an Apple Watch the process of recording steps is daunting. The constant need to open the app and spam the begin button just for the tracking to start is a hassle alone, on top of the extreme battery usage. Don’t even get me started on having to remove the cluttery endless amounts of “workouts” from my activity app on my phone afterwards. The app doesn’t even take advantage of the new series 4 bigger screens! Personally, I believe that being able to have Sweatcoins use the data already recorded by the Watch in its own default tracking app would be miles better than what is available right now. Not only is the current process annoying, it wastes so much time when there is already a near full proof system already implemented for tracking steps natively on the Apple Watch..Version: 17.0

Seems like a scam to get usersFirst off. You get paid to walk in credits that you can use on the app to get discounts or free shipping or donating money to causes. You never get real money. I downloaded the app for a bit of extra coin and the chance to donate to causes that deeply need the attention. So far I’ve had this app for almost a year, I walk every day and I’ve only made 300 credits, have the app open almost every day and haven’t spent any until today. Some of the offers to get “50% off at **insert random store name**” require 14,000 credits. A lot of these offers expire so the only way to be eligible for the things they advertise outside of the app is to pay real money to boost the amount of credits you can get walking... the only GOOD thing I will say is that I think that donating for causes is amazing but I wish they would have that more causes available than some dumb shopping discount. They rarely have time for these causes it seems because I noticed causes are only on there for a day or 2 before “expiring” but they will keep a discount for a pair of headphones for weeks? It just completely defeats the purpose of advertising “Getting paid to walk”. Save the space on your phone and don’t get this app. I’m throwing all my money into the recent causes and never thinking about this app again..Version: 36.1

Not registering any of my stepsI’ve had this app for about a month now and only in the first day or two it registered my steps and sent them through. But I go on everyday to check it after i finish work, and it says I have 15,000 steps most times roughly and then I click the flashing red button to the right of the steps, to send my steps, and every time, it tells me it’s sending them and then all of a sudden it just disappears and I get 0.00 SC And it also says that it will force send your steps at every 2,000 mark which also never has either. So until that can be fixed I can’t give it a higher rating..Version: 34.3

Cool idea but I HATE that there’s a daily maximum...The daily maximum means that the MOST you can ever make is 20 ‘sweatcoins’ a day = $1 is the maximum you can ever make. For the 26,000 steps I’ve done today I get capped at 20,000 steps which is super annoying. Was keen to accumulate enough sweatcoins to earn the $1,000 paypal payout but this would take like 3 YEARS to earn if I do maximum steps. The paypal payout is the only cool ‘prize’ worth it, in my opinion and no I don’t want to spam friends to join just so I can earn extra. Lift the maximum ‘capped’ amount you can walk and then you’ll have a happier customer. Again, cool idea and I like that this is encouraging people to get active in a creative/fun way but the maximum cap of only earning 20 sweatcoins ($1) a day is the worst..Version: 27.0

The worst appI don’t recommend it at all. It’s to me more like spam useless..Version: 126.0

Wish I actually could get somethingI went to purchase these air pods and it continually told me it was out of stock, after constantly reloading the app, still not able to purchase while it still said the air pods available. If there truly is nothing to be done, I’m just going to delete my account at this point and tell everyone what a waste this app really is. I’m active and would walk whether this existed or not. The reason I do this app is because I am low income and thought this would be a great way to have some small wins in the world where I’m stuck walking because of an accident. I have been using the app for over two years, and haven’t really spent any of the coins. What they offer in the store is mainly digital offers, donations, or things you get a partial discount on. You see a nice physical product for free that’s up for grabs? Nope. In reality, this will be just another pointless app where I fed in to it for years and now realize that it doesn’t do much but take up GB usage on my phone. There was a guarantee in the event a purchase was out of stock, so where is my $? Considering I have screenshots that I should have been able to use these points. One of the many many disappointments this app leads to. Don’t waste your time..Version: 129.0

MehThe offers are meh. You can get them anyway if you just go to the websites. Fitonomy actually had a free 3 month trial so your paying your coins for a worse deal....Version: 26.0

Read all before installingSpent over a year watching daily ads, racking up revenue for sweatcoin. As I started to get close to the 20k needed to cash out the 1000£, I decided to actually pay my own money to upgrade to breaker. Within two days the 1000£ has conveniently disappeared from the store before I could cash out, despite the fact it still remains on their website suggesting you can still buy it. Apart from the marathon offers, sweatcoin is advertising you fake offers. You think you’re getting a free item but really the ‘shipping’ cost you have to pay yourself is covering the cost of that item. You’ll never get anything without actually paying money alongside your hard earned sweatcoins. (they’re making a commission off it too) All the discounts and special subscriptions can easily be found online for free. So they’re charging you sweatcoins for something that everyone else is getting for free on the actual website. Everything about sweatcoin is a scam. Every little thing just to hold you back and make sure you never cash out on the marathon offers as they are just simply unobtainable. The fact they try and say it will one day be cryptocurrency is a complete lie and completely impossible too. Stay clear and don’t make sweatcoin any richer 👍.Version: 57.0

It’s good but losing its shineThe good - great motivator to to get you out of the house, monthly challenges to walk 250k steps is very helpful as well. Ads help to get more coins daily. The not so good - when I first started using the app a few years ago I was seeking people able to get $1000 gift cards for 10-15k sweatcoins which for some people (if you are only able to do 10k steps a day) takes 3-4 years to accumulate that sort of number unless you get either lucky with ads or pay for additional subscriptions to double your daily steps. Now to get the same card it’s double at least! 25k maybe 30k steps the ability to get good items seems mikes away. I’m a premium user and when vouchers etc are available I have no idea when they go available, it seems hugely US centric everything in dollars so that seems the target audience. I’ve tried to contact a couple of times as I’m in the UK about when premium items go available without response as there really isn’t a customer service option. So my advice is stick to the free or maybe the cheapest option to double your steps..Version: 126.0

Not Worth It.Not worth anything. Go for walks and buy your self a smoothie, thats more worth your money and walk. This app is completely useless. I saved up to about 75 swet coin and tried spending it on the paper wallet they released couple of days ago. I went through the process and it was very complicated. I added a paper wallet in my shopping cart and it automatically takes the points right then and there. Furthermore, you have to provide them (third party “paper wallet company”) your credit card info and all the rest. It will take legitimately $5 from your card for shipping and who knows how long it might take to get to Toronto. To be completely fair, this app deserve a zero star and no ratings at all. Don't download this app and don't give away your personal information that easy..Version: 23.0

ScamYou accumulate coins but all you can cash in is for garbage.Version: 126.0

Not worth the trouble!First off! It wants access to your health app. Why I have no idea. Because the app needs to be constantly running and using your GPS, which in affect turns the app into a resource and battery killer. Having your GPS on all the time will drain you battery twice as fast. I still don’t understand why it needs access to your health app if it still heavily relies on the app being on and the GPS constantly in use. For that amount of resource and the little return I have to ask. What is this app really after? Surely for a free app there is some sort of kickback the developers are getting. I have since deleted the app and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for any real reason..Version: 18.0

Clicking on icons not workingWhen i open the app only scrolling is working in the interface not able to select any icons which is very irritating. I made score and want to buy a product which is not allowing as I’m unable to select anything. Updated to the latest version still same issue..Version: 134.0

Great idea but poorly implementedI’ve had this app for a long time and been optimistic... but I’m more and more frustrated with it. For example today I ran 10km and walked another 10. In all 25,000 steps, all outdoors. My reward? 3100 steps. And I’ve paid to upgrade to get 20,000 per day. And that’s not a one off, this happens most days. I understand the need to verify the steps but I would expect at least 90% to be picked up. Not many rewards, either small discounts from large retailers who have these same or better discounts available with a quick search online. Any time I see something to save towards it is usually removed as I get anywhere near close to the required amounts. The long term goals seem promising but are in reality unachievable. 20,000 coins in 2 years just adds up if it is maxed every day, but as I said above if I only get 15-20% of steps awarded then it’s more like 10 years on the app. I bought something once. I think it cost 50 coins for a free shaker bottle. Great! But when I got to the checkout, the postage was £7.99. The bottle itself was only £8.99 with free postage. So a waste of 10 days walking. None of this was mentioned before buying the offer (the information has since been changed). I emailed support several times but no answer. Kills the battery. About 5-10% of my battery use according to iPhone is sweatcoin. Keeping the app for now as I’ve put so much time into it but needs a lot of improvement..Version: 13.1

Most underwhelming app everGot excited by this when I installed it about 3 years back , I’m a postman so do some serious walking , I now have almost 10,000 coins , what have I bought ? Absolutely nothing , why ? Because 99% of offers are either Free or about 5 coins, offers that you can find all over the net , or small trials where you just pay for postage ( expensive postage so that they make a profit from it to cover the cost of whatever rubbish they are giving you ) or some great looking items such as television , they were always at an out of reach 20,000 coins , I guess a few people are getting close to that target so I notice they are now 30,000 points , my recommendation , don’t bother just get a pedometer with decent stats , there is no such thing as a free lunch , or trial this for 1 day , as it never gets any better than day 1.Version: 96.0

It’s a farce.I am a premium subscriber to this app and my opinion/experience of it so far is that it’s a farce. I open the app very regularly - multiple times a day but no matter how frequently I open it, or when I open it, the premium redemptions are always “sold out”. I’ve never actually seen one of the gift cards in stock, so they either put half a dozen up each time and they’re snapped up within seconds, or they’re just making it look like these things are available. The reality is that they’re probably not. Really regretting paying for a subscription. Don’t do it..Version: 123.1

Very good app idea. 3.5/5This app is a very good app. when you first start you can get a lot of sweatcoins fast, but as time goes on it get harder and harder to make a couple a day. I used to make almost 8-10 a day now it’s hard making one or two. The app has a great idea to get out side more but the majority of people I see using it are people who are at school or at work. Once I got almost 20,000 steps but only 600 of them counted because those are the only ones that were “outside” steps, when I had to go shopping at the mall. I was not happy to say the least when I had around 20,000 steps and almost none of them counted. Your app in whole is very good. You have a great app idea but one recommendation is that any and all steps count because everybody I see uses it while they’re at work school or every day life and they don’t really have the time to get out as much as most people do. I know myself I do a lot of walking around in school and my home but I can’t really get out as much but I try to as much as possible so I can get any sweatcoins. Just one little tidbit is that please Think about changing your app so that all steps count towards sweatcoins. Keep you algorithm that processes steps but please try to change it a little so that actually works..Version: 8.3

A revolutionary app stoops to profes. S C A M ARTIST!The fact that this app persuades us users into paying for the monthly subscription to get more coins for our actual steps taken + more prize opportunities is absurd. I feel 1 0 0 % scammed due to the fact that I have been checking the shop daily as well as paying for the subscription for almost 2 months (not to mention I’ve been using the app itself for almost 5 YEARS!!!!! & not ONE item for purchase w/ sweat coins hasn’t been sold out… I can never redeem for prizes besides the products being advertised by discounting them for the sellers. I even check at midnight right when the new items in the shop refresh & they’re STILL SOLD OUT. This app is an absolute S C A M 🚨. I’m realizing we’re being convinced to pay the monthly fee for nothing but “sold out” prizes that aren’t even real. First impression was 4- 5yrs ago when I downloaded. I was honestly excited & impressed by their great idea for an app to help get ppl motivated to be more active. What caught my eye was the top prize for my steps was $1000 for 20,000 SC. I knew it would take me at very least a year but I was determined! Now my impression of the app.. it’s becoming a full scam & of course has taken that $1K prize down. Def disappointed & won’t be continuing to use this myself and ESPECIALLY will never embarrass myself again by recommending to friends!.Version: 132.0

STUPID👎🏽I tried to get 50% off a bracelet but when I went to go and buy it it wouldn’t let me get on the payment page 👎🏽 and I have a time limit on how long it can be 50% off for and IT WONT WORK!.Version: 26.0

Waste of timeThis is a big waste of time and effort. You only get offers in which you have to spend money. You cant redeem this for cash unless you have 20.000 $ which takes years to get..Version: 23.0

Creepy ScamThis app is just a means of tracking you for free, and I will tell you why. The prizes take an extraordinarily long time to reach, even if you are walking the maximum amount each day. There is a $1000 PayPal prize which the app says is available after 18 MONTHS, but even if you are on the highest subscription, it would take you about 3 YEARS to earn this reward unless you referred the app to a ton of friends for 5 sweatcoins each. 3 years of data on how much you walk, how much all of your friends walk, and where. In the meantime you are left with some truly mediocre rewards (granted, I’ve been on it for a day), forcing you to keep walking to try to earn an iPhone, gift card, or television . If you walk inside, the steps aren’t counted, but the app will still be tracking you without giving you sweatcoins. If you aren’t earning anything for being tracked then you should close the app to save your data/battery, right? Sweatcoin doesn’t think so. It will ping you with a notification saying “You killed me! 😳 Do not force quit me if you want to generate sweatcoins. Tap here or walk 1000 m to restart me.” This guilts people into constantly have the app running in the background all the time, which allows the company to gather GPS data and analyze your daily whereabouts without rewarding you. DO NOT download this app. Sell your GPS data to a company instead..Version: 8.3

Feeling sceptical...Why oh why is there the option to send coins to friends or other users, when as far as I can see all the best purchases available can only be made with coins that are not transferred and are ‘earned by you’. What is the point of having a send coin feature? Effectively it makes any coins sent or received absolutely worthless. Further, perhaps I’m wrong, but I see no account login which suggests there is no way of using the same account on a new device. This suggests that if my phone is lost or I upgrade my handset all my hard earned coins will be gone? The concept of this app is good, but please app developer, just be completely transparent otherwise many many people will become sceptical like me, the sceptic word will eventually spread, and all your hard work will be worthless (just like any transferred sweat coins)!.Version: 4.1

Was better beforeWas better when you could work towards a goal, now there are auctions you have to double the amount of coins you earn (an extra 6 months of walking for some people) just to be able to bid. Impossible to get the big prizes now, pretty disappointed.Version: 70.0

These guys just can’t seem to get it rightBad app, These guys can’t seem to get it right every update nothing gets fixed I have 7000 steps I walk and run out side and i get 3 sweatcoins. Usless Im in canada and there is zero offers for us here, this app seems to be a battery waster! Not to mention do ridiculously stupid prizes they have, they had a 2/3 inch multi tool (one piece of aluminum it looked like basically a beer opener) they wanted 500 sweat coins, what a joke! Been with them for months, got several hundred and cant even redeem anything cause its either ridiculously overpriced or there is nothing to get. Weak! Whats worse now they advertise spam and quick money schemes!! Horrible Now the offers are to spend 100s of sweatcoins for the chance to let a company to send u sonething free but only when u pay and sign up with credit card 😂😂😂 this app is a joke!.Version: 23.0

Not worth your timeThe idea is really great, but for years this app has a lot of unfixed problems. 1. As a Canadian you will not be able to purchase anything, because app consider your number as American. 2. All coupons are not worthy, on Amazon you can buy the same things for better price. 3. All premium exclusives are out of stock 24/7, you can’t spend your sweatcoins as you wish, only donate them, that seems the only option. 4. One day app is working good, another day I’ve got 12k steps, but didn’t earn any coins. Reload, reset, signing out and reinstalling app not helping. Don’t waste your time at this..Version: 128.0

It’s a great concept, but…Initially I loved the idea of this app - acquire a currency as you walk, and get stuff out of it, what’s not to love? And, without putting any additional effort in, I’ve now earned 100 SweatCoins just from my usual activities. I guess for those who exercise more frequently or vigorously than I do, it might be a motivator for that extra bit of effort, or it may help inspire some people begin exercise that have avoided it previously. My issue with the app is that there appears to be almost nothing that I can realistically do with the coins that I couldn’t do elsewhere. The majority of the offers (costing between 5 and 20 SweatCoins) are introductory offers that are freely available on other websites. Although the app does have products that I would like to buy, they appear to be out of stock before I even notice them - which makes me wonder how much “stock” was ever available. The offer of buying into crypto seems to be the true end-goal for the app creators, but is a little confusing to me, and just seems like an admittedly novel attempt to enter a crowded and chaotic market. I don’t feel these issues are entirely a deal-breaker for me, and the auctions side may be interesting in the long, long term. But I can’t help but wonder if there’s something more cynical going on as regards my data and who it’s potentially being sold to. All-in-all a nice idea. But right now just a bit…pointless..Version: 137.1

Kinda riggedWhen first started using the app almost all of the steps were being counted now that I have a couple hundred coins, I’m only able to convert about 40% of my total steps. I would be really happy with the app if there were more options to buy rather than just some diet powder or cheap phone case.Version: 22.1

Lies - Total ScamI have been slowly saving my sweat coins with the intention of using them for a cash payout. Originally 1,000 sweat coins could be used in exchange for 1,000 cash via PayPal. So I patiently have been letting Sweatcoin use my location. When I reach 700 SC the advertisement for 1,000 cash via PayPal disappeared from the marketplace. Annoyed I kept using the app anyway incase something else better came along but I began to notice that the prices of goods started getting higher and higher. Today I checked in on the app. and the 1,000 cash via PayPal was back! But this time I needed 19,999 SC to redeem it. It’s taken me over a year just to get to my roughly 750 coins. Do not let this app fool you. First off there’s nothing good in the marketplace that you already can’t find a deal for online. Second when you get close to something worth your SC they bump the price up on you to a cost that is almost unattainable. Clearly this app is selling its data and location information from its users and does not plan to reward anyone except themselves. I also want to add that I am an extremely active person often hiking over 5 miles a day on the weekends and walking or running 2-3 miles on the weekday. If it took me over a year to get as far as I did how long will it take the everyday person?.Version: 38.1

A few things to improve!Sweatcoin was great when I first got the app, I was so excited about all the deals and free stuff, I was recommending it to everyone. But as I got more used to it and started looking at the offers more, they where mainly the same, I get how hard it is to get deals as well. Unfortunately that’s not all. I purchased an offer on the reading app and I did what it told me to, and it didn’t work. So then I went to help read through all that, and found out after I needed to send a fault fix, I did, but that was ages ago and I’ve never got a refund since. I love the bucket lists offers! There amazing! I mean the last one was skydiving! Please reapet that! Unfortunately I do not go round recommending this to everyone, however I did get 17 people to join the app! So yeah! Thanks sweatcoin for making a fairly good app. It’s not I’m my recommendation, and I’m giving it two stars. So just improve on the faults the offers and the glitch with the steps!.Version: 19.0

An you add a calibration feature.Calibration of walking gait is non existent in all fitness or walking apps. those of us with walking difficulties or disabilities dont get good use of these apps because we walk too slow and have an non normal gait. calibration should start with a five second count down to allow us to pop the phone in our pocket and grab pur walking sticks etc, them it beeps to tell us it starts a timer. We walk as normally as we can for our situation and count our steps. we walk then take out our phone to stop the timer then enter the number of steps we counted. the app can then analyse for our situation. this will help amputees and people requiring stick or frames to help us walk to participate in the fitness communities these apps try to encourage but currently exclude us. you could pioneer this capability. or ignore it as usual..Version: 139.0

It’s good, could improve a lot thoSo I’ve had this app for about a month and I like it but it can improve in so many ways. Firstly the step counter isn’t the best and will take a good amount of steps without giving sweatcoin for it. Also the shop is limited and there’s not enough options or any long time offers. The daily offers is good but we need a all day, everyday market with more options. Also the money withdrawal needs more options, currents there’s only a $1000 PayPal one. So this app I would recommend but don’t take it too serious as it a bit broken and doesn’t work all the time..Version: 8.3

Not very good for CanadaIt is a good app and I like it a lot but all the featured prizes are for the US and practically nothing for Canada..Version: 21.0

PointlessThis app is designed to make you feel you’re earning something when in fact it can take months to get a penny/cent in real money value. My phone’s activity tracking is much more effective in motivating me to move more without the notion of rewards that don’t exist. As for the products you get access to, you can get the same thing just by going to the sellers directly and most of them are spammy fakes, too. If you want to walk thousands of miles for a penny, then go for it, otherwise move on. Finally, 9 out of 10 ads you see on the app are for gambling, also full of promise of winnings that will never happen, this encouraging the younger crowd they are aimed at to engage in gambling. It feels like an effort to create a new generation of gamblers under the disguise of winning non existent winnings, and Sweatcoin plays a role in this. So no, it isn’t worth it for many reasons..Version: 151.1

Not looking goodI really want to use the app but no code is being sent to me. It never happened to me before and codes are always sent on the spot. Please help.Version: 4.2

Good concept, bad execution, or false advertising? The good - Encourages you to expertise. No negatives about that. Provides an incentive by redeeming prizes for your effort. The bad - More than the good unfortunately. They claim to use minimal battery and and you need to have the app constantly running in the background. I have found my phone to drain significantly faster and requiring multiple charges to keep it running throughout the day and have noticed my battery health deteriorate since using thus app. I exited the app yesterday due to this but decided to open it back up due to doing work outside. Phone crashed upon opening it up and when it rebooted, the battery was down 20%??? Other major negative is it will take multiple years doing a lot of walking to be able to redeem a decent item. I still have the app but am not as positive on it as I originally was..Version: 43.1

Why all the hype?I tried this app and honestly didn't see any value. You give full access to your location. You end up harassing all your friends to join so you get more "points" and all you get at the end of the day is barely a few pennies towards unachievable rewards. If you weigh in the positives and negatives, you'll notice you're selling ALL your personal info, including apple health data, your contacts and places you visit in return for a $1 at Amazon... Delete and forget..Version: 4.2

The app is a conWhen you first start using the app - aka when you have no ‘Sweatcoins’ - there will be good rewards on offer to make you think the app is worth using. But as you go on the rewards get more expensive, and thus not as affordable, and not as good, for example: breakfast muesli. Also, most of the time your ‘Sweatcoins’ can’t even be spent directly on an actual item; you can spend them on subscriptions or discounts on things. The products on offer are all fitness related too, with the exception of a few products with impossible price tags, so don’t even bother downloading the app unless if that’s your cup of tea. Furthermore, the app doesn’t count the steps you do inside, which is disappointing if you do a lot of steps indoors, like at work. Overall, this app is not worth the time unless if you’re a hardcore fitness fan willing to wait months to get a good reward..Version: 9.2

New update doesn’t still doesn’t credit all stepsEver since the new update that ‘doesn’t need gps’ the app counts steps but still only gives you sweat coins for your outdoor steps. But since it doesn’t rely on gps it doesn’t know how many were actually outdoor steps so you’re only getting a fraction of what you walked. Case in point- while at a theme park one evening I walked over 8,000 steps, ALL outdoor, but instead of crediting all my steps (as it should since it’s not supposed to matter anymore if they are outdoor or in doors) it only credited 253 steps which it said were outdoor steps. Wha?? Why is it still trying to determine which steps were outdoor and only credit those if it doesn’t matter anymore if you walk inside or outside?? I wish I could go back to the previous version off the app. Or at least give me the option of relying on gps or not. Another small grievance I have, this is not limited to sweat coin but is the case with a lot of point gathering apps, that the options for spending them are limited to mostly coupons for subscription services. In other words, an invitation to spend actual money on a regular basis, instead of a way to save you money. It will never be an actual crypto-currency until it spends like currency..Version: 38.0

Unrealistic rewardsThey have some great looking rewards on here like a curved TV and 1,000$ cash back, as well as an iPhone X, but they each are 20,000 sweatcoins to purchase. And I did the math on that and even for you to be able to receive that on the highest paid subscription possible Walking enough to get 20$ a day AND daily bonuses everyday, it still would take you nearly THREE YEARS to get to that threshold. And for those of us who don’t want to pay for an app that is supposed to reward you with money, the whole reason I signed up was to earn money not spend it. They have little rewards like 10$ off your electric bill for 10 coins on the app which is much more fair. 1 coin to 1 real dollar is a good deal and still needs quite a lot of earnings to get the top reward. So my suggestion to the developers is make the top rewards a little more achievable, you can get those TVs and iPhone X for 1000$ or less, but charging 20x that amount in the app. Maybe 5000 coins in the app or even fewer closer to true value would get a lot more incentive for people to use the app because even though it’d still take a year or so for practically everyone it is a much more achievable and worth it goal at least in my eyes..Version: 18.0

DON’T waste your time with this app!!!This app is a SCAM!!! You think you’re earning free money just by walking around outside, but here’s the catch; the items you can purchase with your Sweatcoins still demand some of your own money for shipping, membership, etc. and you end up getting sucked into something you thought was a good deal, but I’ve checked multiple times and they probably save you only $2 at most. I’ve read soooo many reviews saying that Sweatcoin ripped them off after they had already spent their unfairly earned coins for “prizes” and when they tried to fix the problem with Customer Service, they never picked up, never returned phone calls, kept getting transferred to person after person, you name it. (I don’t say unfairly earned lightly, you could participate in 5 marathons in a day and they would only give you about $2 worth of coins) Thankfully, I didn’t experience this first hand because I was saving my coins for the ultimate price; $1,000. And I’m so glad I deleted the app before I invested too much time into it, because I would have been furious!! ALSO, they track your location 24/7 to continuously count the steps you take every hour of every day, but honestly that is just straight up sketchy....Not worth it. ANDDDD they force you to keep the app running so it can be on in the background, lurking, tracking, and watching your every move. How creepy is that???.Version: 25.0

Complete scam with unofficial cryptoAll of the offers they have to use their sweatcoin for don’t work. the companies they sponsor are scams who collect money and send nothing. The big reliable companies who are connected to the platform offer discount codes that don’t work, all they do is collect your data. No support team that you can contact at all. don’t bother using this app, it’s just used to track where you are and where you’ve been. Save the time and battery from this app because all the positive reviews are fake people or just bot spamming. Apple needs to delete this app from their platform immediately.Version: 136.2

Very disappointingI used to love this app and found it motivated me to walk more, I especially liked the monthly challenge where you could earn 25 sweat coins and the chance of a prize for complaining 250,000 steps in the month, in May I completely this with flying colours and was looking forwards to the June challenge however I quickly noticed that I didn’t appear to be getting as many steps in and ended the challenge around 80,000 steps short even though I was sure I had done more than the required amount, disappointed in myself I promised to try harder in July, this is when I realised that there was definitely an issue with the app on day 5 my steps are showing as 7301 which is way under what I do daily and have already done 2431 today, this made me check my steps for June on my Apple Watch which I discovered came to a total of 329,836 for the month way over what I needed, they are claiming to pay you for walking however they are conveniently not converting all steps over which is resulting in a massive amount of underpaid sweat coins, very disappointing and unfair, tempted to completely delete the app, needs fixing and quickly.Version: 128.0

Apple Watch app needs workApp works well on your phone (although boost sometimes doesn’t work without data, which you might not have when out for a long walk...), but the Apple Watch counterpart app needs some serious upgrades please! I should be able to view and convert sweat coins directly on my watch, not just through the phone, and there needs to be much better integration with Apple’s activity tracker. Quite a few times I have set a walk on sweatcoin to have it crash midway through, meaning I lose out on the coins and also the workout as far as my watch is concerned. It would be much better if you can just program sweatcoin to access the steps data directly from the watch workout and convert eligible steps that way, rather than having to set up a walk through SC and have it fail half the time..Version: 53.0

Crap Items -Never A Buy!UPDATE- I changed my review to one star because i have not received my order, made months ago, and after i reached out to CS, I’ve heard nothing. It’s only $20 but I’ve learned my lesson. My daughter put me onto this app because I am a serious runner and walker. Every day I don’t use this app and I’m up to near $500 in a short time. My issue with this app has nothing to do with my earnings but with the items that I should be able to purchase with my earnings. They sell you with the idea of earning these dollars or coins to purchase things but you never are really purchasing something. Everything is a percentage off. I’m buying coupons. And the fact that I’m not able to purchase only blows Mia more when I see that the things that I do want are always sold out. What I would like to have is never available. Ever. If you have a lot of people purchasing, you should have more available. Especially if you’re always selling out. If not, then it’s set up and a scam to me. Lastly if I’m only able to get so much off, maybe if it’s worth it I’ll do it. But shipping is way too high. And I’ve already purchased one item and it hasn’t even shown up yet. It’s been over three weeks. No tracking information. Nothing. You have to do better..Version: 126.0

It’s fine I supposeThis is a good app but is very misleading as it is marketed as it pays you to walk but in fact it just pays you with in-app currency with can be redeemed for different rewards. Most of the rewards are not relevant to me except the Marathon offers which cost 20,000 sweat coins but that’s an amount alimony impossible to achieve considering I’ve had the app for 2 years and have 1,500 sweat coins. It used to have a cash out feature where you could submit your sweat coins for a very low amount of money, (was around £3 for me) but it asked you to add a bank account and when you tried it wouldn’t let you and it said you needed to sign up with one of their partner banks. They have removed the feature anyway so I will just have to keep my sweat coins and hope something actually relevant comes up in the shop at some point..Version: 51.0

Poor functionality limited valueI love the concept of this app and I enjoyed using this app to start with it was a good way to push myself a bit further. Yes the offers you could spend coins on were mostly just discounts but that wasn’t a huge surprise. It was when I realised just how few offers were ever available that I started to get disappointed. Yes you might get a new one most days but there are only 3 or so at any given time with the exception of the marathon offers which help to make you think there might be something at the far end. The big frustration has been the inability to get any technical support when the app stopped converting my steps properly. 15 minute walks to the station and back we’re counting as fewer than 10 steps. I followed all of the suggested fixes, updating the app, checking my gps, resetting my gps etc, and eventually reached out for additional support, all I have been able to reach is an AI generated email which repeats the same suggestions. It’s a shame that something that is such a great concept hasn’t delivered more. I think I will investigate some of the alternative options out there..Version: 9.2

Pipe dreamsThe humongous toll this app takes on your phone’s battery aside, this is a tedious app. The idea is nice but unfortunately walking around for really useless products. To use this app is to trick yourself into thinking you need to work towards earning ‘rewards’ that are very unnecessary to anyone’s life. iPhone X’s and cash prices that you will never ‘earn’ via just walking. Transferred money doesn’t work and paying for accounts that allow you a higher daily limit of possible sweatcoin earnings mean that ultimately you are paying for products with money as well as your time. I have also wondered if it’s really a good thing to actively allow a company to track every single movement you make. This is like a mine for data on people’s habits. Like ‘checking in’ with each step you take. It’s hard to say it’s not necessary though, I guess that’s needed to make the app work as intended. Which brings one to the realisation that the whole concept of this app necessitates playing an active role in being a consumer. It’s like tricking oneself into being a wanting consumer and I’m sure there are plenty of better ways to motivate oneself into walking for ones health, if that’s what you are really after. Concept is cute but flawed essentially. I just don’t think this technology and approach plays out how you hope it does when downloading the app!.Version: 7.2

Waste of your sweatcoinsI’ve been using this app as a premium member for about 4 months. Thought it was pretty cool to begin with. As time goes on you realise how little you can do with Sweatcoins. Any of the premium offers are basically impossible to buy. And ultimately what made me delete the app in the end is the “charity” donations. While a great thing in theory, there is very little information in the app on how this works. With a bit of digging it says on their website that once a donation target has be reached, the donor will release the pre-organised funds to the charity. No where in the app is this amount mentioned. It could be $1000 it could be $2? Meanwhile people are continually donating their hard earned Sweatcoins after the target has been reached, believing their coins will be donated on top of that, which they won’t. Where do those coins go? Nowhere I’m guessing? Bye Sweatcoin..Version: 146.0

Love the idea and app, so far 6500 sweat coins.2022 you’ve dropped the ball a bit tho, already sent in a technical issues through the app and through the email. Haven’t updated your goal page to 2022 so it’s stuck in December 2021 (I see no update for the app so assuming I’m on the latest one) And please bring back the old market place. Change whatever you want but keep the 20,000 rewards toward either a tv or cash etc, not too big of a fan on the auction idea. Love the idea of charity ideas..Version: 111.0

Getting worse and worse.......I've been using this app for a good while now. Don't get me wrong, I'm nowhere near the marathon offers but it was nice to know that they were possibly attainable at 20k.... I've just logged back in to see they have now been increased to 26k which i imagine noone will ever achieve. Looking at all the reviews, people have said the same and i see the same copy and paste response from the developers saying people are earning more now due to the new features put in place. If this is the case then why introduce new features to 'earn more' if you're going to increase the target..... Surely this defeats the object? You may as well have left the app as it was.... The low down offers are codes you can get anywhere on the web yet they charge you coins for this just because they are advertising someones company... What's the point of paying coins for an offer that isn't exclusive to have to pay delivery anyway that is majorly inflated? Ridiculous now and no doubt i will receive the same copy and paste response, if I get one at all. Think it may be time to say goodbye. You ruined a good thing with all your 'new features' that help noone..Version: 61.0

I’d rate it lower if that was possibleHow can I walk for 6,163 steps and get only 0.06 sweatcoins? How? Maybe sweatcoin will see this review and explain it to me because every time I send a complaint they always ignore it and after a day or two they ask me how good their response was, like are these people doing drugs??.Version: 22.0

EhThe app used to be good at the start when you could actually get physical products but now that I’ve saved up almost 200 Sweatcoins all you can do is buy 20% discounts for stores which websites barely work or crash and honestly not even worth it anymore.Version: 146.0

Bad ConversionMy sister and I both have this app and for the same exact time we walked right next to each other at Carowinds. My total amount of steps says 9,892 but only 830 we’re counted as outdoor steps, therefore giving me just 0.78 sweat coins. My sister’s, however, total amount was 11,065 of steps, and 9,227 were counted as outdoor steps therefore earning 8.76 sweat coins. Where is the logic in that? We have been outside the entire day and walked the same amount but i did not get even 1 sweatcoin from today. You guys need to fix the bugs. As well as my sister tried to send me 17 sweat coins but it said it sent yet i never received them. This happens often, I get an average of 4,000-ish steps a day because i do a lot of walking outside as part of exercise or things at school but it never counts them. I think that people should still get coins and steps counted even if it IS indoors because at least they are actually walking? Why does it matter if it is inside or out? Please address this issue as soon as possible because this has been happening quite a bit and with my sister’s and my mom’s accounts too. Thank you in advance, i’d rather be able to have this app functioning well because i like the idea just it should be enforced better..Version: 7.1

They give with one hand a take with the otherSo with the Coronavirus in full flow its hard to hit the old goal of 2,000 steps; so they lowered it to 1,000 steps to get 3 spins (by watching 3 adverts) on their random sweatcoin generator offering anything between 0.5 Sweatcoins (SWC) up time 25SWC per spin - meaning even without a fully functioning app you could gain a minimum of 1.5SWC per day which will at least pay for your subscriptions. When the app was glitching and not able to convert steps due to an IOS update - they gave everyone 10 Sweatcoins to make up for the last generating possibilities. In this most recent update - they kept the 1,000 step goal but now the app has a chance of not giving Sweatcoins (yet the app developers still get paid because we still have to watch the adverts). Most of the regular rewards on offer have little to no relevance to me as I’m not super active (apart from walking) and most of the clothing options are not in my size. I’m trying for the marathon rewards but I doubt I would ever get to them - 20,000SWC is needed for $1000 USD - I’ve been on sweatcoin for nearly 3 years and I’ve not yet broken 7,000 SWC. So either I’m chasing a pipe dream or the team do not intend on giving these high value prizes..Version: 45.0

ScamLiterally a scam. They mine your data and pay you basically nothing. You might accumulate the equivalent to 10 dollars over a few years which you won’t even be able to redeem. No one will see this as they only show the 5 star reviews (most of which are obviously fake). If you are here cos u saw some bot tiktok account saying ‘you get paid to walk’ lemme save you the effort of downloading it. No point. It’s a scam..Version: 146.0

Needs more incentiveI’ve been using this app for almost a year and a half now and the rewards have really gone downhill in that time. It was great at first as they had some good rewards such as the crep protect spray and a few others which you could earn with a few weeks worth of (realistic) walking which really incentivised you to earn sweatcoins, especially as no extra work is required on your behalf apart from having the app on your phone. Nowadays, the shop merely consists of subscriptions and shopping discounts which aren’t even worth spending sweatcoins on as most of which you can actually get on the actual vendor website themselves or via a discount code/groupon/wowcher. I think the app was a great idea and in the beginning it was definitely encouraging to track my steps because the rewards were actually pretty decent, however with the only good shop items being massively out of reach (many years of steps required) it’s pointless to have this app downloaded..Version: 9.2

Anyone else notice the decent rewards miraculously disappeared? When I signed up, this app was about generating coins with your steps in order for actual rewards, not subscription services and 50% off vouchers. There was an option for £1000 paypal withdrawal at the very beginning - obviously now I realise that was just to reel people in, I doubt anyone reached that amount of steps in order to receive that reward. Or the holidays, or phones that were once advertised. This app does not do what it says on the tin, however, it does have really cool features. They’ve just rendered the purpose of rewards on this app useless, unfortunately. It’s a shame because the amount of steps that add up feel like an achievement, but the ‘reward’ is going to be a subscription service for vitamins or dog food - something you will end up paying for anyways. Yeah :/.Version: 73.2

Bad newsNothing for sale they just send adds and it is a waste of time. My phone already counts my steps. Pure waste of time you will never buy anything g because they are alway sold out 24/7.Version: 131.0

Great app, but it’s getting terrible. This app was great, but recently they have changed various features that limit the user experience. Firstly, they changed the UI to the point where some aspects are now obscured. A great example of this is total sweatcoins for the day. A user has a limited amount of sweatcoins they can get daily, set by the subscription they have. The total accumulated for the day used to be easily displayed on the front page, it is now obscured on a second page in a sub-menu. Secondly, they have removed the stretch/big goals from the rewards page. Where a user may once have held onto their coins to wait for those bigger rewards, such as $1000 or a trip to Disney, this incentive has now disappeared. This is in favour of an auction system, which I feel is not rewarding. It turns hard work and goal setting into luck. All in all, I feel that I upgraded to sweatcoins paid trouble maker subscription, which guarantees income for the company if users are not watching ads, and have been rewarded with inconsistency and fewer features of lesser quality. Disappointed..Version: 70.0

I walk over 10,000 daily, unless I feel bad, Im lucky for it to give me 3,000 for that day and I pay more for double coins. Last week I walked almost 14,000 steps, but I only got 2,000 something on the app that day. Ive emailed several times and Im told they’re aware of the glitch and apologize, but do not offer to add those missed steps to my account. Edit since comment from Sweatcoin I’ve actually already done everything you stated, I did go to Faq on Sweatcoins first, which states exactly what you just said. I sent an email stating I did all of this, my reply was telling me to do all of that, my reply was I already did, the next reply was exactly telling me to do the same thing again, now Im told a 4th time. That did not work the first, second, or third time. My apps automatically update, I double check and the app is current. I plan on requesting a refund on what I paid and cancel my subscription, Im not paying $9.99 a month and not even get to reap the benefits when it doesn’t actually show Im walking over 10,000 steps a day. I have already stopped promoting the app and Im no longer going out of my way to try and earn, knowing Im not going to get the points anyway.Version: 56.0

Great concept, horrible executionSo the concept of this app is really great. You walk, you get coins, you get stuff. It even hooks up to your device that monitors your steps, I have an Apple Watch linked to it, so it uses that information. Very simple right? Except no, it’s not. Tell me how I will check my watch and it’ll say that I walked 18,000 steps (I work at an outdoor exotic animal sanctuary so I KNOW almost all of that is outside) and I’ll be all excited to see how many coins I got, to go to my app to see that the number of steps that were “detected by my device” were only 10,000 of which only 4,000 were “verified”. That’s not even 1/4 of the actual steps I took and I think that’s ridiculous. And the first time it happened I brushed it off and figured it was a fluke but this happens every day and it’s really upsetting me. I work 12 hours a day outside and I walk A LOT. It’s just really unfair and I’m not sure I’ll keep using the app. But I gave it the two stars because the pay out is immediate and they constantly have new stuff you can get with your coins, which I think is really cool. Also, even if it’s not in battery saver mode, it doesn’t eat up your battery all that badly..Version: 18.0

Scam do not downloadYou will never get any gift cards - they will it yo the app as out of stock to make you revisit next day.. Delete this app immediately.Version: 124.0

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼This app doesn’t have much options for prizes and the steps aren’t counted correctly and half of the steps are usually put into unsent steps which is totally not fair.Version: 17.0

Absolute Garbage!Useless and doesn't even let you delete your account/details easily..Version: 151.1

Let’s be honest with eachother...This app isn’t accidentally considering some of your real steps as faked steps and it does use the health app. It takes the steps from health app and uses and algorithm aka a long math equation that says that you are losing steps. It doesn’t verify real steps cause how can you. It’s an app. Apps don’t know the difference. It’s all bs to keep you using it and inviting people cause that’s the only real way to build up sweatcoins. The app is scamming everyone that uses it and says things like “turn of battery saver mode to lose less steps” cmon now. It’s literally telling you to let the app use more of your phones processing space or else you will lose sweatcoin steps. All the things it says it uses like gps and blah blah blah is also bs cause what would a gps do? Yeah it shows you moving but you could easily put your phone on an rc car and have the controller rubber banded going over books over and over to simulate a step and it should count. But guess what. It doesn’t, because the app is a scam into getting millions of people to download it and have businesses believe their product is going to end up on their store which it might but still wouldn’t be worth it in the end. Not only is this app a waste of time but it’s lying to you every second of your day..Version: 9.0

Love/Hate RelationshipSay what you will about step conversion (like when I log 12k steps and only 3k convert), but I feel Sweatcoin is one heck of a motivator for me. My only issue is that it logged all of my steps for February 2021 as January 2021, now reflecting my February insights as 0, and as of today (March 3), I show 0 for March even though I’ve “boosted” on all three days and have hit nearly 10k steps each day (with at least 4-5k in pure workout run/jog)... AND I’M A PAYING/SUBSCRIBED USER. With that being said - overall it’s very buggy, but if you’re not a super perfectionist, it’s a good little motivation tool. FYI: their customer service is bleh; I emailed them back in mid February and haven’t heard back. Not sure if they’re understaffed or overwhelmed, but based on the forums (...their own forums) I read before I emailed them, I didn’t expect any sort of timely response as it seems they don’t have the best reputation for replying to folks or being able to fix the most common issues... everything I’m having issues with has been mentioned multiple times before. Will I still use it? Yes. Will I still pay $0.99/mo for Turbo? Yes. Am I an idiot? Likely..Version: 74.2

It could be better…..I walk 5 days a week. Each time it takes me 15 mins going and coming. so i decided to download sweatcoin because i heard that i can just get “paid for walking”. if that’s why you guys are wanting to download this app too, there is a catch. you don’t get paid directly for walking. Instead they give you some months off random subscription services. i live in the UK so it might differ in america. but i can guarantee that the UK version is terrible. if there is a gift card that is available to by, they are always out of stock. Sweatcoin also give out large amounts of money on gift cards but they are only available by buying Sweatcoin Premium. So If the Sweatcoin Developers are reading this, make it so that we can cash out to our paypals instead of having to wait for you guys to restock gift cards that nobody uses. thanks for reading..Version: 136.2

Don’t botherLet’s say you got tempted by that check for $1000 or iPhone or tV, but it physically impossible!!!!! Let’s do the math, shall we?! And here is a break down for you... • to get those prizes you would have to collect 20,000 sweat coins! (FYI:1 coin is 1000 steps) You are given 2 years to complete that!!!! Which is 24 month or 730 days. • now.... you also get daily bonuses! In 730 days you would get 1701 bonus sweat coin! Nice! But... you would also have to pay monthly subscription! Which would come to 720 coins. So in total you would have to make 19,000 sweat coins in 2 years! Or...26 coins a day! First of all the maximum amount of coins based on this app you can make is 20! So they are misleading but advertising false info, But....I said “based on”.... It real life of this app it would precisely count third of your outdoor steps! It’s poorly designed, it got glitches, it doesn’t work unless you’ll swing your hand! Don’t waste your time! I was testing it for a 5 month and it’s horrible! You get addicted to it, but frustrated as you see that it’s not counting your steps. Yeasterday they did some update and it’s a complete disaster! I walked close to 7000 steps and got 1$. Oh, it also kills your battery! Unsubscribing!.Version: 22.0

Not as great as promisedSweat coin has a great idea but it isn’t being executed very well. First off the step counter is WAY off, all the time. I noticed from the beginning I was getting cheated out of at least 1000 steps a day, usually more. When you finally have generated enough steps to buy something your options are seriously limited. Most of them fall into health and fitness categories, which I don’t mind it would just be nice to have a bit more variety. Then after you get past the physical items they have a variety of coupons to offer in exchange for sweat coins. Please don’t buy coupons on this app, I promise you can get almost all of them from a different source without having to pay anything for them. A quick Google search will find the same coupon. I did that frequently and saved my sweat coins. I only was able to buy on thing with my sweat coins that I was interested in. In the end I ended up paying about $20 in shipping for the item. It was a bag of coffee and I was really hesitant to pay, but since I had already used my sweat coins I didn’t want to waste them. The app would also continuously crash on me as well. Ultimately I donated the rest of my sweat coins to charity, which I am willing to bet much of the money did not actually go to said charity. I have since deleted this app and I don’t see myself getting it again. If another app pops up following the same idea in a more honest way, I’ll probably give it a try..Version: 79.0

Needs workThe idea of the app is great - however, I don’t like the idea that the makers can track every step you make, every single day. Essentially that’s how the app works, but instead of giving you actual genuine rewards for exercising, it tricks you into thinking you’re working towards something when in actual fact, there’s no monetary value to this app whatsoever. You’re not being paid, you’re not receiving rewards as such. You save your coin and you can use them to purchase subscriptions or items but they are really limited. None of the rewards advertised have been relevant to me. You can save your coins for an iPhone, which is the equivalent of 20k sweatcoins, however, that’s quite an impossible amount to raise. Especially considering the max coins you can earn in 1 day is 5 (unless you use your coins to pay monthly to be able to increase that to 10 coins). You can transfer coins to other people but they’re not applicable when it comes to using them to purchase items which is a bit of a dud. Great idea for an app. I have read that the makers eventually want to make sweatcoin a cryptocurrency and increase the number or rewards you can claim. But that seems like a distant dream rather than actual reality at this point. Still, I shall keep the app and save my coins and who know what will have changed in 6 months to a year!.Version: 9.0

WalkingI walk lots more Canadian residents bonuses please......Version: 22.1

Annoyed by the “You killed me”It might not be a popular opinion but having the need to run the app at all times annoys me a lot. Can’t it just convert the steps say every ten mins the app is running? I don’t want to convert the steps manually once I know my day is finished and I’m at home just relaxing..Version: 9.2

Great potential but terrible business modelI had such high hopes for this app, and have been using it religiously for well over a year now. Long story short: the company moves the goal posts on the larger prizes so that it’s essentially impossible to ever attain one. I’m a paid subscriber, watch the ads for extra Sweatcoins, all of it. I noticed early on that the prizes weren’t great: you could spend a few a Sweatcoins on free trials that you could easily get tons of other places for free, or wait for a long time to save up for a major trip. Seemed like a good deal to save up, but then Sweatcoin raised the prices on the larger items, making them so far out of reach that no one can ever get to them. This is terrible psychology and a terrible model; did they think we wouldn’t notice? They may have saved a few dollars but have definitely moved themselves into the “scam” category. (And yes, I’ve seen all the admin responses about these auctions that are going to replace the marathon offers. Even if these were appearing in my app, which they aren’t, they’re certainly not what I signed up for. I’m out..Version: 63.0

Previously awesome app...The new update is absymally bad. The simple, straightforward user interface was replaced with a confusing, cluttered design. Previously there was an option to still use the old design, but that has been removed with the latest update. The biggest problem with the newest update, is the inability to manually upload steps. This means, if I did 12,000 steps in a day, and the app uploads 10,500 before I go to bed. I cannot manually tell it to upload the remaining 1500. Throughout the course of a year, this adds up. Considering me, and many others, are paying for the Trouble Maker subscription, this is very poor on Sweatcoin’s part. Taking away steps its users are entitled to. If the developers has simply taken away the ability to manually upload steps users would have complained, but hiding it sneakily amongst many “new” features in this cluttered redesign has allowed them to get away. This used to be a 5 star app until the newest update. Should the ability to use the old design be reintroduced and the ability to manually upload steps be added back, I will happily change this to a 5 star review. But for now, it deserves 1 star for sneakily trying to rip off it’s customers, as well as not responding to my emails asking them to add the old features back..Version: 70.0

Une vraie perte de tempsHier j’ai marché 5000 pas et résultat un sweetcoin. Et le compteur de pas est revenue à zéro. Merci pour cette perte de temps. Ne sers à rien de donner des informations pour zéro récompense. Mérite qu’on supprime l’app..Version: 141.0

Extremely disappointedI have been using this app for a long time and just realized that most of the products inside the app are from USA and has a ship restriction that they can only be shipped to USA. I recommend the app creator to mention that in their app descriptions in advance to avoid any inconvenience and misunderstandings..Version: 131.0

Doesn’t workI ran 10km, 14k steps and no reward. It even says in the reward section that 1k steps = 1 coins. It doesn’t really work….Version: 105.0

Don’t waste your timeSuch a great concept but the app is genuinely awful. I have tied unsuccessfully for 30 mins to see what I could buy with my sweat coin (sc) and to watch some adds to earn extra sc but the app just keeps crashing. It is so painfully slow (click on anything and it does nothing for over a minute, then you try to do something else and it crashes - and no it’s not my phone or my internet connection). “Free trials for 5sc” even though they are literally free trials you can find anywhere on the web so why bother wasting your sc. I have yet to be able to actually view what is on offer or work out how much you need in order to do any shopping on the shopping page because it keeps crashing and every time asks me which country I’m in even though I have already confirmed multiple times my country of residency. I don’t want to delete it and reload it incase I loose the coins I have eared so far as there is no actual login that I can remember. Plus judging by reviews here (which very few seem to be recent) I doubt I’d actually be able to earn enough to buy anything anyway. I’m beginning to think this is just a scam to collect your data and movement patterns. Seriously - don’t wast your time. Absolute rubbish..Version: 133.0

Deleting the app for the second timeI downloaded the app a year ago. I wasn’t really benefiting from it and needed the extra space in my phone so I deleted it. I redownloaded the app a month ago in hopes that the app had improved and I noticed it had pretty decent reviews since I uninstalled it so I gave it another try. The app does not count all of your steps and it only works with your phone or an Apple Watch of certain versions. The app doesn’t allow you to use other smart watches even though my smart watch has all of the qualifications that the creators claim their app needs. I sent them a support problem ticket bringing up several issues to take into consideration and they sent me the generic answer on their forum about solving the problem instead of actually reading the ticket and sending a reply. I messaged them back asking them to read the ticket and to get back with me but after a week of waiting I got nothing. I sent another ticket and within 2 minutes got another generic answer to my problem that had nothing to do with what was actually on the ticket. I gave two stars because the idea behind the app is a good one but the app itself needs work, not to mention the customer support is tacky and useless if you’re problem isn’t addressed in their help me section. I am uninstalling the app again but I don’t see myself giving it a third chance after this.Version: 15.0

SCAM - DOESNT PAY YOU CORRECTLY FOR YOUR STEP !!!!!!Scam - it doesn’t count your steps properly and cb only credits you to around a 1/3 of the amount of steps you have done. And will not credit you sweat coin points if you have done over 10,000 step in the day. If you have completed about 10, 000 steps in a day you will be credited with sweat coin point for 4, 000 of those steps. This app doesn’t give you legit credit and if all about profitting off your steps it doesn’t credit you for that actually gets donate back to the app without you knowing. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS AS IT IS MAKING MONEY OFF YOU, THREW NOT GIVING YOU FULL CREDIT ON YOUR STEPS !!!!!!!.Version: 147.0

There’s a lot to talk aboutOk so sweatcoin is an interesting app. you really have to not delete the app if you want anything worth purchasing. i have joined in december of 2017, and i have around 1.8k coins. i am writing this review in april of 2019. first off is the purchase you can make with sweatcoin. the proportions really do not line up at all. for example, you can buy some fancy socks worth 15$ for 1.5k sweatcoin. now, you can also buy a jewelry subscription and a 21$ shopping credit for a mere 10 sweatcoin. the proportions rarely line up. sure, the developers can’t argue too much with their companies but still it should be slightly better. next, is the things you can buy. it’s all repetitive items and they are most of the time all discounts for items. idk about everyone else, but i want to buy stuff for free. no money involved PERIOD. too many of the free offers are MUCH too expensive and cost too much sweatcoin for one person no matter how much they walk. speaking of which, the step counter algorithm is god awful. sure, you don’t want people shaking their phones but COME ON. i have a fitbit and it tells be i walk around 8k steps everyday! sweatcoin on the other hand that only 1k of those 8k were actually real steps. at least let the algorithm be a little more generous here. now, you really want this app, just download it, forget about it, and check every week or so to see what offers are new. (please improve the algorithm and add in more free stuff).Version: 23.0

Scam adsSo stupid if you have the app don’t watch their daily ads because they scam you by trying to show you more than one ad and then never give you anything more than 0.5 sweatcoin for watching it....even all the ads they show are for games that try to scam you out of your money.....very stupid app overall.Version: 39.0

ScamI bout no tie shoelaces and it gave me a 40% off but, my brother went on and he still got the 40% off without paying. 😡.Version: 17.0

Just try motivated yourself and stop dreaming of something would never come trueI don’t understand most reviews about this app that it motivate you 😴😅as it doesn’t’ honestly its just an app where it count your steps for nothing literally NOTHING just finishes your data running on the back ground and all offers are free from the official websites that sweetcoin charges steps for ‘ so why waste any steps buying an offers when it’s free on the official websites who offering the free gift or free trial . Also the worst thing made me decide to delete this app is the bidding thing !!! It’s a big joke as even now if you save 20M steps you won’t be able to get an iPhone or the 1000 PayPal as now days what I’m seen on the bidding it’s a joke 500 m&s gift card gone on the bidding for nearly 27M steps 🤣 People wouldn’t understand it could take years and years just get to 10M and do F all with Sweetcoin just making money by us runing their app on our phone background for some fake money.Version: 112.0

Horrible customer service and scamsSo I’ve been using this app for over a year and I’ve liked it up until I had a problem with an order. Apparently some of the things on marketplace that you can turn sweat coins in for and only pay shipping are scams. I purchased an Apple Watch band and it never came. I tried to contact the seller and no response. I tried to find the website, it’s gone now. I reached out to sweatcoin only to get a bot to answer and did not address my issue even the slightest. It was an obvious automated response email. I tried to reach out again only to get no response at all this time. Some of the products I’ve received have been okay and others are cheap items that’s you can probably find on wish. Cheap and from China. Definitely not worth the coins I put into it and the shipping I paid for it. When they use to offer sample packs from reputable companies, those were worth it! But unfortunately they do not offer those times of things in the marketplace anymore or rarely. I plan on trying to use up the rest of my sweat coins and then deleting this app and stopping my subscription. Buyer beware!.Version: 120.0

This is getting frustrating!Okay, is when I first got the app I was so exited! Walking for money, yes please! Then the problem started and it’s really bugging me! You supposedly say 1,000 steps equals 0.95 sweatcoins but the thing is that isn’t true! I send 1,000 steps and get about 0.55 sweatcoins! And not to mention if it auto sends my steps I get absolutely nothing back!!! I walking on average about 4,000 steps a day and only get back about 1.50 sweatcoins, nothing more! I’ve had the app for a while, I tried deleting I and redownloading, making a new account, shutting down my phone but nothing is working! This is ridiculous! Fix the problem! Or else I’m just going to delete it, it’s just a battery drainer. I’m giving it a few days or else au revior Sweatcoin!.Version: 9.1
