✓ Great game if I could play it!Loving the game, easy to play, would like puzzles to be harder - even super hard is not that challenging. But as a lot of others have said, the lack of tokens is annoying and ruins the enjoyment. I've just played my one game for today and now have to wait until tomorrow to get more tokens to play again unless I want to spend on an extortionate token bundle. I've also received no reward tokens for completing a puzzle for at least the last 20 games! Token rewards should be more frequent, the daily loyalty bonus should give more tokens and last more than 5 days. Edit: some improvements: I've noticed the new puzzles have lots more games for between 11 and 30 tokens. Still can't play them because token limit is 10! I now get 2 games a day as I can watch an ad for the question mark game sometimes. The question mark has a bug if it's supposed to indicate games available as mine is currently showing games costing 15 tokens and I have 10! The constant ads are so annoying. One after every single game you play plus the banner ad! Could you be any more greedy? I am not willing to buy any packs to get rid of them! Edit July 2019 Really!!! The biggest complaint is lack of tokens so you significantly reduce the only way you can get them in the daily bonus. TOTAL MONEY GRABBING AND STUFF YOUR CUSTOMERS. ✓ TokensThis games super fun and time wasting but maybe get rid of the tokens because it’s hard to actually play the game if you have none I see that you can get them by completing a puzzle but if all the easy ones are gone and there’s only hard and super hard and a kids playing it can get a little challenging so please either you get more tokens when you complete a puzzle or just get rid of them. ✓ Wish I could give it 5...Because everything about playing is spectacular! I actually give this game credit for helping me quit smoking - kept me so distracted and occupied that I made it through the temptation! It’s challenging, problem-free, friendly interface, I love this game. BUT - you earn barely enough tokens to play, nor enough coins. I did spend money along the way to buy tokens (considered it better than spending on cigarettes). And I have replayed most all the medium / hard puzzles countless times to get more tokens, and have endured the ads over and over again as well. But there’s just no way to enjoy this game unless you’re willing to spend money. As you accumulate tokens, It raises the cost of the games. It has all the silly quests etc., but you get virtually nothing for completing them, nor for completing a board. And having completed EVERY puzzle, I am in the situation where I can no longer play at all. I can’t earn coins anymore because there are no new puzzles, and without coins I can’t even replay puzzles. So developers - Check my account - I’ve spent a considerable amount over the last few months. And you’ve effectively locked me out. ✓ Horrible customer serviceWell game itself is pretty good, however token situation is ridiculous. Puzzle cost up to 50 tokens but you have only possibility to get up to 10 of them. You can watch as to get up to 8 tokens a day only. Surveys which show 20+ tokens sometimes give you only 1. I do get you need to make money but you get paid for people watching ads and get only if I’m lucky I get to have a puzzle where cost is only watching an ad. Winning the tokens is very rare. Ok I like to play game so I bought some tokens. 1 time no problem, 2nd time paid for token saved in my piggy bank. Even tho payment went through purchase wasn’t successful. Contacted HELP, but no one got back to me and it’s been 3 days. So now game is useless to me as I am out of tokens and I’m not risking to purchase any more if payment is being collected but no tokens awarded.Version: 3.2
✓ The game is 4+, but the ads are 18+So disgusting— I loved this game, and played it with my kids. I can handle the number of ads but YIKES— so adult and sexual, and wildly borderline offensive (at least as a female they’re repugnant). Ads should match the ages of the games at the very least. ✓ Good game but tokens are way too hard.I love playing this game! But tokens are way to hard to get! Even when the game replenishes them over time, it stops at 10 tokens, most of the puzzles cost upwards of this to play. Yes I understand that you can get more tokens by completing challenges, but I’m just wondering how you do this if you have no tokens to complete puzzles with??? And even though you get tokens for playing everyday (which I do) you only get enough tokens to play like one or two puzzles. I get that the game developers are just trying to make a living, but making it difficult to play without spending actual money is hardly going to keep people around. ✓ Deliberate glitches?As others have said, as you progress through the game the tokens are more difficult to get. If you choose to redo puzzles you’ve already done to get tokens it’s a real win if you get a bonus 10-20 tokens occasionally however just recently I’ve noticed the game ‘glitches’ every time one of these rewards is on offer so you have to close it out and come back in. When you come back in the tokens have not been awarded. Same thing happens when you have an opportunity to play a game at the cost of watching an ad. When it glitches and you come back into the game the cost to watch an ad is no longer an option. This can’t be a coincidence..Version: 3.3
✓ Problems with then game? Tough! No help given!If you need assistance, don’t waste your time contacting Support. They NEVER reply whether you contact them through the game or email through their website. I’ve been having issues with receiving the measly 10 tokens each day, but still no response from Support. Also, shouldn’t this game get harder as you complete levels? I’m fed up with all the 8x8, 10x10 and 12x12 levels as they are far too easy. There seems to be less and less 15x15 challenging levels, it seems the game is becoming more for young children! Finally, not enough tokens are given for free and having to use 40 or 50 in some puzzles means that unless you buy tokens or fill out numerous surveys etc, you won’t be able to play them for a couple of days. ✓ Rip-offs ruining a fun game!Love doing the picross puzzles and the daily tokens make it easy to get enough to unlock puzzles, but I noticed a big problem: namely, if you leave a new puzzle incomplete for any reason(have to do something else, game crashing, accidentally clicking the button to leave the puzzle), the mystery prize, which could be anything from a couple hundred coins to thirty tokens, gets changed to the generic prize for redoing that difficulty of puzzle, which is 1, 2 or 3 tokens. Feels like a major rip off to have that possible thirty tokens turn into a measly three just because you needed to take a break from a difficult puzzle or accidentally clicked the exit button when trying to switch from x to • FIX THIS PLEASE..Version: 1.8
✓ Good game, when you actually get to play itI have to echo a previous review - not enough tokens. The actual game interface has probably the best and easiest to use setup of the different Picross apps I’ve tried, but with a limit of 10 rechargeable tokens, I know I’m about to hit a wall of being able to play it. I’m not about to spend a tonne of money on tokens when I’ve barely even got a tenth of the way through some of the bigger puzzles, and they are barely given out as a reward for solving the ones you unlock. I’ve never understood this approach which essentially limits the amount I enjoy the game - I’d probably play it constantly on my commute in and out of work, but can only ever do one puzzle at a time. I’d be likely to buy new “big-pictures” of puzzles once I completed the original ones, but wouldn’t pay for extra tokens when you should be rewarded for completing the levels as you go. I’d also love to know what the coins are for. Maybe being able to buy tokens with coins would work? I don’t use them for hints so they’re just a big waste, and not really a reward for anything. ✓ It’s decentIt’s a decent game, but they purposefully make it hard to play more than one or two puzzles in a row by limiting credits. Of course you can get more credits by watching ads or paying money. There also seems to be an issue so if you do play more than a few maps, the game can crash. I think there’s a memory leak because it starts to chug. Or maybe it’s doing something else in the background. Also, desperately needs an undo button. ✓ Extremely disappointedI was a huge fan of this app. I downloaded it for the first time over 2 years ago and have been playing it regularly since then. I have been playing it every single night and i have watched thousands of adverts. I had completed 360 out of the 400 from the “World’s Biggest Puzzle” set and I noticed for the past 2 weeks my phone would get hot suddenly when i opened the app. My is new and does not get this hot ever. Then i noticed while i was playing, sometimes the app would crash and the puzzle would close. Around 3 nights ago when i opened to play again, my phone got hot and the application crashed and when i opened it again, all my progress was gone!!! ✓ Overall pretty good but has so big downsidesI overall love the game and are addicted to playing it. Only the problems I have with are some of great concern. First, the games level systems are completely weird, sometimes I’ll play an easy level which would end up being harder than a medium level and medium and hard levels are pretty much the same thing. Second, occasionally when I get my daily tokens, it just doesn’t give them to me. This especially happens when it is at the bigger rewards. Take today, I go to get my daily tokens, the screen pops up and I press collect, the screen goes away and I haven’t gotten my tokens. This really is a problem as tokens are the only way to play a level. Third, the levels cost way more tokens the. The. The app gives us, without having to resort to paying with real money. As you go through the levels the start to cost more to play, so even go as high as 60 tokens, this usually wouldn’t be a problem for games but in this one it is because they only refill your tokens to 10. You have to find ways to gain the extra 50 tokens. As someone who can’t afford to pay for more, collecting that many could take a pretty long time for just one level. Even with all it’s downsides I wouldn’t stop playing the game. I just wish they would fix them so I can have more of a good time, instead of a stressful one while playing..Version: 2.6.1
✓ Fun, when you can playCapped tokens at 10, a significant number of puzzles cost far more than 10. Bonus tokens are daily capped, meaning at a point you have to wait days to do a single puzzle unless you get lucky with a watch video unlock which seem very random. Shame because it’s fairly fun, looks good and sounds good… if repetitive. It used to be much less greedy than this. I’m already giving a lot of time to the adverts which are much longer than they used to be and now I’m hard capped too. If the plan is to push users away then it’s working. I would happily one time pay to play as much as I wanted like games used to be, or watch ads to play however much I have the patience to watch them, but not even having that choice …. ✓ Tokens are too rareI love this game and the puzzles, the colour puzzles are fun, but tokens are way to rare. I want to be able to do puzzles often, but I can’t because tokens are way too rare. They were already rare enough and in the last update they REDUCED the number of tokens from the daily reward, while keeping the dum system of the daily reward resetting each time. Now basically the only way to do the really expensive puzzles is to commit hours redoing puzzles you’ve already done, which gets boring and you only have so many coins to redo puzzles, or you have to pay real money, for for most people is not an option. ✓ Predatory spam from attempting to earn tokensI really enjoy this game, however something strange happened when I tried to earn tokens from taking a survey. The survey I attempted claimed to be for KFC. The actual questions in the survey had no substance nor anything to do with KFC, and at the end of the question it requested contact information. I put fake information except for my email, in case I needed to receive an email to get the tokens. It then redirected me to some other site and asked for more info, and ultimately I gave up and did not earn any coins. The next day, I started receiving emails from Judicial Watch, an ultra-conservative right wing nonprofit organization. I unsubscribed immediately, but kept receiving emails from them. I have unsubscribed multiple times, to no avail. Not once in that process was Judicial Watch mentioned, and I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to collect emails in such a misleading/concealed manner? I’m wondering if anyone else has had this same issue, and also requesting that the developers take more care in what kind of advertisements they put into their games..Version: 2.2

✓ My good review of this game will be mentioned lastThis game is fun until the need to spend money comes into playing the game. You get a max of ten coins to recharge. Most of the puzzles cost more than that to unlock. 11 coins to unlock a puzzle and sometimes 40 to unlock others. How can I avoid paying money to finish it? They offer watching ads but you only get 5 coins maximum and other times they don’t even offer watching ads to earn a whopping one coin per ad. So now I’m at a point where I’ve worked through all of the puzzles and now I have to wait for the daily reward of just opening the app without playing just to save up enough coins to play maybe one puzzle every couple of days. This game is pay to win. My love for the game started at two stars for the frustration but now I change it to one star because now I’m talking about it. Make a game to be fun but if you’re going to charge for it, charge me, don’t charge my loyalty. You won’t get any money out of me for coins to continue playing a game. ✓ Great game, terrible business modelThe game plays really nicely, some art could be better but as a puzzle it’s challenging and engaging. It has a lot of pictures to keep you busy, the controls are nice and in terms of playability I have no complaints. However, the developers designed this as a cash cow. After a certain point you need to pay for tokens or you won’t be able to unlock new pictures. Either that or spending a lot of time replaying old levels to get enough tokens to unlock a new level. The game is plagued with adverts, most are gone when you pay for some tokens, but you still have to watch many adverts to unlock new levels. The developers use lots of dark patterns, which are questionable tricks to keep you hooked and buying tokens. It can be very frustrating because this is a game which requires focus and there are constant pop ups, flashing visuals, adverts and reminders to buy tokens. The adverts open the AppStore page whiteout any input from the player, they abuse the time the adverts are playing, and they hide the close button or make it difficult to press. I wish the developers had chosen a better business model. I know that game development is a tough industry, but this is a game I would definitely have paid for and I would have bought expansion levels. Instead, they decided to ruin a good game to make it into a cash cow..Version: 3.8
✓ Changing my original reviewSo initially I reviewed the game as fun but not enjoying the ads. Then I (finally) completed all the quests, only to discover that in order to get enough tokens to play some of the puzzles (30, 40, 50 token ones), I had to wait DAYS for the tokens to build up...unless I wanted to pay. Here’s the deal, I don’t mind to pay $5 and get 2000 tokens and have, at the most, puzzles be 30-token puzzles, but when 80% of the games have squares that are 35+ tokens, you would have to spend a lot of money to even finish. Several days I opened the app, just to get the additional tokens so I could play some of the higher ‘priced’ puzzles but I am about done with that process. You would think the developers would allow you to use these almost-useless coins to purchase more tokens. But if you keep having to wait days to earn enough tokens, then...you’re quickly going to lose customers. Have the tokens generate 10 every 30 minutes CONTINUOUSLY so that you could check back in a few hours and have 60, 80, 100 tokens to work with. That would help. But I’m not spending $100+ to buy tokens for hundreds of tiny puzzles. I totally love the game...but this caused me to reduce it from 4 stars to 2..Version: 1.7

✓ What it once was...I have played and finished this game before. It was a great puzzle game that I spent hours playing to finish not only the main 400 puzzle game but the other ones too. Redownloaded not long ago because I missed the game, and found that the ads are more frequent (and funnily enough, more difficult to click out of) and it is seemingly harder to complete without purchasing tokens. Seems like a kick in the teeth, considering I always go to this game when I’m bored or stressed and most of the time I can’t even play because I don’t have enough tokens. Either ask for a one off payment to unlock all puzzles in the main game, or just make everything attainable. The game used to be so fun, and I loved it because it didn’t rely on payment. But now? ✓ Agggghhhhh!Been playing this game almost daily since Sept 2018. Spent money at the beginning (around £30 total) which enabled me to get rid of ads. 2 weeks ago, my game reset itself inexplicably back to the start(no phone updates, game updates etc) I lost all my progress and most annoyingly, the ads have returned with a vengeance!!!! I have tried to contact through the app a couple of times, neither of which have warranted a reply. Advice is, download this game if you can bear to sit through multiple, non skipping ads both before and after games and definitely do not spend your actual cash as, no matter how long it takes, they will remove your privileges and not even have the courtesy to respond to your queries. They are clearly not that bothered about the people that play their games. Even more annoying is that the game is bloody brilliant, shame about the developers......!!!!.Version: 2.8

✓ Addicting but could use some tweaksI have been playing Picture Cross for about 3 months now. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone. I am just VERY frustrated about the tokens, like many others. According to other reviews, the cost of the puzzles accelerate. I agree with changing the way the tokens work and I also do not use my coins. But....the thing that gets me the most is the stupid TAPJOY. It says take a short survey for 53 tokens and I’m like sweet!! I spend 15 miserable minutes complete the survey, press finish, go back to picture cross, and get 0 TOKENS!!! I would like to earn my tokens when I complete things like that. Also I sometimes take a survey that uses personal information and then after like 15 questions it finally says: sorry but you have not qualified for any surveys! If these things were fixed, I would absolutely love this more. OOH last suggestion I think that you should be able to use whatever tokens you have. For instance, if this puzzle costs 20 tokens, but I only have 10, I could put in the 10 I have and wait until I have another 10 to complete the cost. If these things were fixed I would never stop them laying this game!!! Also, question. Does the 10 tokens recharge every day or do you have to use them?.Version: 2.4

✓ A bit disappointingIt’s a great game, don’t get me wrong, but there are lots of long ads that you can’t skip. It used to let you skip after 5 seconds. However, now they make you watch the whole thing, and some of them are even 45 seconds long! It has really reduced the quality of the game because it makes you watch a long ad every single time you finish a puzzle. Additionally, I finished the ‘World’s Biggest Puzzle’ puzzle pack and have started the ‘After Dark Puzzle’ puzzle pack and they are the same. The puzzles in them are the same, and the picture is basically the same, just darker. It’s a bit frustrating because I’m trying to unlock the ‘Picture Cross Arcade’, (you need to finish all other puzzles to unlock), and I don’t want to do a pack that contains 400 puzzles all over again! Finally, the graphics for the colour puzzles are a bit disappointing. Some of the colours are just so bright it hurts your eyes. There is a pale peach that is barely distinguishable from the white background, and there is a black that makes it impossible to see the lines that mark the squares, which is annoying. Also, a lot of the colours are very similar, making it easy to slip up, then have to start all over again. Despite all of this, it is a great game, I would absolutely recommend you download it if you enjoy picture crosses. However, once you get to a certain point, the quality becomes a bit disappointing..Version: 3.0
✓ Not Even Microtransactions Let Me Play More.I love almost every bit of this game. The mechanics, the personality, each and every puzzle, and all the little details in the art. It’s super fun to play, I just wish I could play it more. The token system really made things hard on how much I can play the game, considering I need to wait to play or I pay. And considering the wait time on tokens has a max limit of 10 tokens, that means you can’t play any puzzles that have more than ten tokens (which could be all that’s left, meaning you have to wait for the daily tokens the next day). I even paid ten dollars for 1500 tokens, but those only lasted a little under half a week. I just want to play your awesome game more, but the token system keeps me from doing that. Even paying doesn’t let me play whenever I want. This is the one blatant issue I have with the game, and I would really appreciate it if tokens could at least be replenished to twenty tokens or something (you would have to wait in-game to get ‘em, though). ✓ Good wee game but...I have been playing for a while now and really enjoyed the game, have even spent money on tokens it’s so addictive! However when I came to the colour puzzle pack, things went down hill. Having never played a picture cross game before this I assumed the colour pack would be as the rest of the levels. I was wrong. No tutorial given for the colour packs, no instructions. I had to figure out myself that coloured blocks could be placed next to each other without a space. I’m all for a challenge but the difficulty jump has put me off playing as much as I’m not wasting the tokens I’ve bought on clues when I was great at the game before. ✓ Pointless ReviewsI’m beginning to think the developers have no interest in satisfied customers. It would appear that our reviews are wasted efforts that will never even be taken into account. For some years now, many players have expressed their distaste for the absurdly long time it takes to get tokens and enough of them to play some of the more expensive puzzles. But the developers persist with it with seemingly little regard for these players opinions. The app is quite clearly nothing more than a money grabbing attempt by owners and makers who care nothing about the players and simply about what goes into their pockets. It’s a real shame. ✓ Tokens are too hard to get AND survey doesn’t work!Nice game but super frustrated over how hard it is to actually finish the game as the number of tokens you need gets ridiculous the further you go. You can do one puzzle per day if you’re lucky. I tried to use the tapjoy option to get more tokens by completing a survey. I did it once and didn’t get any tokens but I thought it might’ve been my fault. So I made sure everything was okay and did the survey again...NO TOKENS! Nothing at all, what a complete waste of time. It looks like many many people also dislike how hard it is to get tokens yet nothing has changed. I understand the developers need to make money but the difficulty to get tokens is too much. ✓ Overall badI love playing nonograms. I would consider myself to be extremely good at it. I play them 24/7. Actually playing the game itself is fun. It’s just everything else that isn’t. The whole solve one nonogram to unlock the a part of the puzzle seems fine, and I can understand why some people like it. But I personally don’t, and it’s hard to zoom in on a certain piece you want to do. I would try and zoom in and accidentally press a piece I didn’t want to do and accidentally use my tokens to play it. I would much prefer have levels instead. Tokens itself are bad. For some levels, there’s a timer to see how long it takes you to finish the puzzle and you will use that amount of tokens for how long it takes you to finish. The “pause”button isn’t even a pause button. It’s literally the button that looks like the settings. The only way you know it’s the pause button is because it says pause at the top. The puzzles are deceptive. I would consider “hard” levels to be super hard. Most puzzles force you to buy hints too. You look at a puzzle at every single angle and there’s literally not even one move you can make without having to buy a hint. It forces you to use coins. The game mechanics could be a lot better too. I could keep going on and say at least 8 more problems but I feel like I’ve gone far enough. There’s definitely better nonogram games you can get..Version: 2.2
✓ Annoying Ads ruin the appGood game but has many issues. o No undo button o Having an ad play after completing each puzzle is annoying - might as well remove the Token system in that case. Speaking of Ads: o Many of them ignore the phone's sound settings. If I have myu phone on mute, the ad ignores it and blasts the ad at full volume. o Ads should be 210 secodns or less. If you can't get the point of your app across in 10 seconds, then why should I bother downloading/buying it? o Some ads take you out fo the game and to the App store to download/buy the advertised app. Bad design! o Some ads lead to scam pages/websites. o I participated in a survey. I was suppose tog et 100+ tokens. I got nothing after completing taking 20 minutes to complete the survey. This is why I have given the game 2 stars. ✓ Frustrating lack of tokensAs a game itself it's not bad. I like this style of puzzle. The problem lies in the tokens. You need tokens to play each puzzle - the vast majority of puzzles need more than 10 tokens (the max amount you can regenerate) and at the moment it's almost impossible to get more. Occasionally after finishing a puzzle you'll get more coins which is great (unless your 10 coins haven't regenerated in which case you still won't have over 10). When you replay puzzles they're meant to give you more tokens but they aren't. 95% of the puzzles I've replayed have given me coins instead which are pretty useless unless you're stuck and need 1 line solved. That doesn't happen often for me so I have thousands of pointless coins sitting there while I'm unable to play. Other ways of getting coins are watching an advert (5 coins max a day) or from the daily login bonus. Even the top login bonus (5 days) doesn't give you many coins in reality when some puzzles need 50 coins to play (especially annoying if they're easy puzzles) which inevitably means you have to not play for several days in order to build up enough coins for 1 easy puzzle that'll take you 5 mins to do. So frustrating and means the game sits idle on my phone for days at a time..Version: 1.6
✓ Too tedious2023 update: nothing has changed. Still trying to unlock the arcade. But every two weeks there’s two new 100lvl packs. Each pack still takes over a month to finish due to token cost/limit. STILL can’t spend coins on tokens. STILL CANT play the game some days when the level costs 40+ tokens and your daily bonus is 5 tokens. How is this game still around? 2021 Update: There are still days you can’t even play one level because the token cost is 35+ for ONE PUZZLE. You can only get a max of 10 for waiting, so you literally have to wait days to play a single puzzle. Let me spend my 500K coins on tokens. There is almost no chance in ever unlocking the arcade at this rate because Devs add new packs of 100 puzzles but each pack takes more than a month to complete because of the time gating. Original Review: Game starts out simple. Get green tokens. Play levels. Then the levels become too expensive. Either A) buy them with money or B) watch an ungodly amount of ads. Either way, the devs are making money, which I understand is the point. But man, sometimes you can’t even play ONE LEVEL some days because your daily reward reset and you only got 5 free tokens. ✓ I wish I had something to do with my coins?I really love this game. Yes, the finished puzzles often aren’t recognizable but if I want a beautifully finished puzzle I would just work from a nonogram physical book (I have some that go up to 50x50 grids!), which is much more rewarding anyway. The token system is not my favorite, but I’ve never had the issue of not receiving tokens for a quest, as many others have complained about. Maybe I’m just lucky. I don’t find the “super hard” terribly challenging but they do make me wrack my brain a bit. I’ve been making myself solve “super easy” and “easy” puzzles without using any x’s and that’s given me a new challenge I enjoy. So why, after all this, did I give this three stars instead of five? Because I have 134,290 coins and literally nothing to do with them. I’ve never used a hint and don’t see myself doing that any time soon. Completing the puzzle is rewarding but I always inwardly groan a little when I get coins instead of more tokens. To the developers: If we could convert coins into tokens, even at a high exchange rate, that would ease some of my frustration with this useless commodity. ✓ Misleading to the point of being fraudFirst of all the game itself is fun and addicting. The problem lies in the tokens. They only give you a hand full of tokens and once you get far enough each puzzle costs 20 to 30 tokens. They don't regenerate very fast so unless you do the "quests" you can't play the game anymore unless you pay real money (lots of it). So you look through the list of quests and they look pretty simple. That's where the fraud comes in. I find one that says "take a 2 question survey for 38 tokens". So I click on it, take a 5 question survey and get 2 tokens. Ok whatever, let's go to the next. This survey says 4 questions for 60 tokens. So I start the survey and it starts asking for all sorts of personal info, but I go along with it. About 50 questions later (when the app says it would be 4), I get a prompt that I have to actually order a product with real money to finish the survey. That wasn't what I agreed to so I skip it. I get zero tokens for that, but they took all my info. So basically don't expect to actually get tokens from the quests, they rarely actually give you what they say they will. Between that and the constant barrage of ads, I can't recommend this to anyone. It's a blatant money grab game that will flat out lie to you in order to get you to click on things. ✓ Zero customer supportI used to love playing this game, it was a nice little time waster. The new update was a nice addition with the colour puzzles, I enjoyed the new challenge. One day, upon opening the app, it appeared that my data had disappeared and I had to restart the game from the beginning. I’ve contacted the developer through the app, on their website and through the App Store but I have still not had a reply. I am now forced to remove this game from my phone and look elsewhere for a puzzling time waster. I’m not going through the levels again, over a years worth of puzzles completed on the odd occasion. I’d be happy if I could just go back into doing the colour ones again but I can’t, I have to unlock it from the beginning which will take too long for me to care about it. ✓ Only Good for Small SessionsLet me start out by saying the game itself is very solid. The puzzles are good and range a lot in difficulty. I have had a lot of fun playing. That said, this game has a fatal flaw that makes it only playable for about 10-15min a day. You will eventually hit a point where the puzzles cost more of the tokens than the game actually allows you to accumulate for free. 10 tokens is the max you can earn without the daily token reward, purchasing more, or watching a 30-45sec advertisement. More than half the puzzles in each collection cost 11+ tokens to unlock. I now only pay this game once in the morning with the daily tokens payout because paying for tokens would be ridiculous with how many other free games just like this exist. If you just want 1-3 daily puzzles to play for a short period, then this is fine for you to get your fix. However, if you want this to be a puzzle game you can play continuously, then be prepared to fork out money to play because it is impossible to earn enough tokens to even play some puzzles without paying or waiting for your next daily token payout..Version: 2.6.1

✓ One huge flawI’ve spent 2.99 on tokens on this game before, however I’m not willing to spend any more money. This is due to the fact that you have to spend tokens to unlock your puzzles, you get 10 free tokens about every 30 minutes. For the Worlds Biggest puzzle I am currently needing 11 tokens to continue anything on there. I am on the restaurant pack which you need 13 tokens to continue anything on there and I’ve completed everything else leading up to the restaurant pack. There is no way I can continue this game without spending money, it’s very upsetting considering I downloaded this game New Year’s Eve and I’m still playing it. ✓ Tokens are hard/annoying to getLove the game, there are tons of puzzles to play but the issue is you can only gain up to 10 tokens over time and most of the puzzles cost more than a measly 10 tokens. You can elect to watch advertisements but that’s the equivalent to watching at least 10 minutes of ads for only 10 tokens and shocker plenty of the puzzles cost even more than 20 tokens and then you have to watch another 20 ads just to that back. It’s obvious that they want people to spend money and the fact that playability is so inconsistent really ruins the experience. Edit; yes there are ways to get tokens such as play an already finished puzzle for anywhere from 1-3 token’s depending on difficulty, rarely do I receive tokens as an award for completing a new puzzle but when I do I always opt to watch the video to add ten more tokens to the reward, you can also watch advertisements but the amount you have to do to say reach enough tokens to play a 50 token puzzle is ridiculous, especially considering the cost of the puzzle doesn’t always mean the puzzle is difficult, also doesn’t mean the reward for completion is anything grand..Version: 4.6

✓ Good game but...I’ve been playing this game daily for weeks. It’s a really enjoyable game. Unfortunately many of the puzzles are “priced” at higher token amounts, and the tokens only refill to 10 at a time. This means even if I watch the maximum of 8 videos a day to get tokens I only get to 18 tokens which isn’t enough to do a single puzzle. I then have to watch videos to get coins, to then replay some old games to earn some tokens. Which, after all this effort and watching videos, I can play one game a day. The amount of effort I’m putting in to play one puzzle a day (now that I’ve only got puzzles that are 20-40+ tokens each) is ridiculous. I think I’ll be deleting now unfortunately..Version: 3.0
✓ Annoying pop up ruining a good game.I’ve been playing this for years, I’ve sunk a fat amount of money into it for tokens too, but omg I am beyond sick of the pop up in games that tells me I don’t have coins to auto fill a line. I know I don’t have coins. I’m not going to buy them either dunces it’s so easy to earn them. Can the devs for the love of GOD please allow us to turn that reminder off and just have the line flash if things are incorrect. I don’t want the line auto filled. I want know if it’s correct before moving on, especially in difficult puzzles. ✓ Great game if you have money to give awayLet me start by saying that I love this game. Played it every day. I am a paraplegic in a wheel chair so this game kept me occupied and I loved playing it. That being said, you cannot keep playing the game unless you want to wait days for coins to accumulate or you have to buy coins. They do run special deals on coins at times where you get 1500 for the price of 1000. This is when I would always purchase them. I would buy two “mega packs” which would give me 3000 coins. I was doing this a couple times a week at what should have been $20. But, and it’s a big BUT, several times I was charged for three mega packs instead of two. The first time I didn’t do anything because I thought maybe I ordered three by mistake. After that I was very careful of what I ordered and made sure I only received the 3000 coins. The second time i was overcharged I knew I only received two mega packs, but again was charged for three. I contacted the company and they refunded me for the third pack. All good, play on. The third time it happened I messaged them again and, guess what, they won’t refund the extra pack they charged me for. This game is expensive enough without being overcharged every time you order coins. For this reason I am forced to give up on a game that I really enjoyed playing..Version: 3.1
✓ Great game, too slow!I love the concept. It's difficult to find a good nonogram game and this one gives you a real sense of achievement as you unlock more and more of the picture. However, my issue with it is that you have to wait too long to unlock each puzzle. It is only possible to earn up to 10 tokens by waiting, and a great number of tiles cost more than 10 tokens to unlock. I don't appreciate having to wait several days to unlock one 50 token tile! Also, when a tile is replayed it is supposed to reward the player with a couple of extra tokens. Whilst the game used to do this, now it does not. Rather annoying to say the least! So in short, this is an excellent game but the cheap tricks the designers have used to influence the player to buy tokens are highly irritating, hence I have awarded it one star..Version: 1.6
✓ Game crashes and lack of tokens frustratingI really enjoy playing this game especially the different levels within each puzzle. Like other users the lack of tokens is frustrating. I have purchased tokens only to get rid of the ads as they kept making the puzzles freeze. Even when I get tokens as a reward I don't receive them and when I press the button to receive extra tokens by watching a video the screen either goes black or it closes the game completely and I don't get the extra tokens. Since purchasing tokens I don't get as many videos within the puzzles as I used to either. ✓ Love this game UNTIL!Love, love, love this game. However I refuse to buy tokens or spend money on games. I had to reset the game and start again after I was unable to finish it due to only being able to unlock 10 token puzzles. By starting with the highest value puzzles and waiting the half hour till the tokens reset to 10, I’m getting more puzzles unlocked. Loads of fun. Well done! Edit: This game was my favourite until one day as I was nearing the end of completing all the puzzles, the game started to glitch and completely reset! I have lost my entire progress and it’s taken me back to the tutorial! Now it’s done it again! I almost completed the worlds biggest puzzle for the 2nd time and it’s reset me again back to the tutorial! What’s going on? There is no point in playing his game if this is going to keep on happening! I downloaded the update as per instructions, but it’s just done it again! ✓ Puzzles are fun butThere’s a bit of fun to be had from this app but there is a problem in that it only gives you a ten tokens cap which take 30 minutes to restore. A small number of puzzles take ten tokens but a larger majority take 10+ with some of the bigger tokens amount being 20-40. Now the game tells you that you can earn them by watching an advert for one token but! You can only watch 8 adverts per day. Now that leaves you in an almost impossible situation trying to earn tokens. So you’re going to have to pay. Initially it gives you opportunities to double your tokens but as you progress these opportunities become almost non existent. So now it takes several days to earn enough tokens to do one puzzle! It’s a huge shame because I’m the type of player that actually pays for games if they’re good but the way these guys have set this up, it’s made me determined not to. Not worth the effort. ✓ Interface isn’t great!I think I may have reviewed this game before more favourably, but honestly my opinion has dropped because the interface is really clunky and off-putting. The game itself has plenty of puzzles, but having since played picross games on other apps I’ve realised how bad this interface is. It’s slow to respond and you have to tap a lot a lot of buttons, whereas with other apps you simply place your finger and drag, and the only tapping is switching between cross and colour. I also don’t like that you can’t change the colour, quite honestly I’m sick of looking at the brown! I’ve found that over time (I’ve been playing since Aug/Sep 2018) I’ve gotten so annoyed with the lack of tokens that I’ve ended up simply logging in once a day to collect them, and then only played occasionally when I fancy a change or run out of tokens on my other puzzle app. I therefore currently have 800 tokens, none of which I’ve paid for, so when I do fancy playing this one I never run out. I do find that I quickly become bored of the interface though, the continuous tapping to select the appropriate function, then the slow response from the puzzle, a lack of response near the edges of the screen and the inability to simply drag and fill. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll continue to play this one tbh, it’s not engaging me enough and I’m spending less and less time on it. But if they improved the interface and modernised the app a bit I’d definitely reconsider..Version: 2.2
