Issues exportingWhen exporting my cards some of the cards back is missing, this is. Avery annoying issue reducing the use ability of this app to 0 Please fix this issue.Version: 4.6

Things to improveSo far the best app out there but has annoying problems 1. when using apple pencil, for some reason the card flips by itself. probably because it read lateral part of my hand laying on the ipad and pencil together as a “double tap” It is very annoying. 2. Next card button. I sometimes use the app in a side window. Then, there is no button for the next card. Please develop a short cut action for the next card or make a button in a small window mode as well..Version: 6.1

Good but has room to improveI use this app a lot, for so many things. I like it, however, because the other apps are worse. This would be a great app if it didn’t do things like switch to typing mode even when I have a pencil in my hand. It also has some odd menu settings, and if you accidentally get your menu set wrong, it is not clear how to get back to the default setting. Those things aside, it is a good app for notecards. Use it like paper note cards. I particularly like that I can export the cards as a PDF..Version: 6.3

Great idea, very glitchyI do love this app but can only give it 3 stars as it glitches a lot, shutting down and deleting the piece of work I have just done. I use it for studying and this is very frustrating..Version: 6.3

Great app with a problemI love this app, it helped me to plan an escape room for my school kids. Without it there would have been loads of different bits of paper and would have taken much longer. However, on the first day I bought and used it the app crashed 5 times, and continues to crash with the las bit of work lost. I emailed the creators, with a promise to get back to me in 1-2 days, but no response (I have checked junk mail). So great app, but with a problem, it keeps crashing..Version: 5.9

The only app I could find that does what I’m looking forThis app does just what I need, but it keeps crashing, and I keep losing work. Very frustrating. Wish there was a more reliable version available..Version: 6.1

A great app with a very annoying faultI am in love with this app, but it keeps swapping between the front and the back of the card when I use the apple pen to write on it. I am not touching the flip icon with my hand. It's just that somehow the interface is missreading it when my hand touches the card as I write. I will be glad to give the app a five star when this is fixed..Version: 4.9

LimitedTried what I thought would be a simple workflow. Failed. Drag 50 screenshots, then sort them into 5 groups on the board. (each screenshot being a card) Each group would become a board. Gave up.Version: 5.9

Please sort out palm rejectionGreat for ideas, UX planning, storyboarding. This is literally on its own, there is no app currently like this on the App Store that works with the pencil on post it / index cards I use this app so much, and recently using the Apple Pencil found when I rest my hand on the screen (with the new pencil icon showing blue) the card starts zooming and therefore stops writing please fix it.Version: 2.2

ConfusedHi. It’s hard to use and after paying nearly £15 to download it I found out that to get the Cardflow+ experience I have to subscribe to a monthly fee. That wasn’t clear when I bought it. I keep getting stuck when using it - instructions are complicated and very unclear..Version: 5.9

Love this app but room for improvementFirstly, this was the app I was looking for and I paid full price for it. However, I’m disappointed by a few things and kind of feel cheated out of my money: 1. Writing on the board is very glitchy- pencil suddenly “veers” off so obviously some palm rejection issues there. Very frustrating when that happens. 2. No ability to have pre-set pens - I.e. have to manually change pen thickness and colour each time which is very annoying and disruptive 3. UI is super confusing and annoying - I’ve had this app a week and I still have to look up how to do things. I’ve never had to do that with any other app ever. Honestly I only bought this app because it’s the only one of its kind but I don’t think it’s worth £15 in its current state. I’m debating whether to return this app because these issues make me want to fling my iPad across the room when they occur and are eating too much of my time. Developers, please could you fix these issues before someone makes a better version? At least let us know you’re working on these issues. They’re the only things preventing me from really enjoying this app and recommending it to people..Version: 4.4

App crash - cards lostI initially thought this app was great as it allowed a way for me to organise my flash cards and use my iPad pen to draw graphs that other apps didn’t. However after meticulously adding hundreds of FlashCards in, I noticed some would wipe the information off without any warning with certain keyboard shortcuts and no way of retrieving them. Have emailed the developers with no reply. I would stay away until they fix the glitches and develop a better automated backup system. Also quite expensive..Version: 5.9

Wasted $13Not so great or maybe it's not what I wanted. The ink is not as smooth as advertised. I went back to using zoom notes. It might be good for those who need an app specifically for flash cards. As well, way over priced..Version: 2.5

Great ConceptThe UI is not intuitive. For example I had a card that had written notes on it and then I wanted to add some text and can only add the text in the upper left-hand corner where I already had written. Linking cards is a painful process rather than just Dragging dropping them u have to keep going back to the menu. The friction involved in using the application makes it somewhat difficult to brainstorm or you just want to capture ideas and not have the app get in the way..Version: 4.9

Needs updates to be worth $15This app would be more worth the money with some additional features which most students would be appreciative of. For example, a highlighting tool, search bar for finding cards with specific texts / keyword search, QUIZ MODE, different pen tools, more than your basic circle, triangle, square shapes (for example, chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry students would be very appreciative for hexagon shape identification). Granted, I haven’t thoroughly explored the app, but these are some of the things that I was hoping for and have yet to find. Baically, integrate some features of Notability, quizlet, and Anki and it would be golden. And worth more..Version: 5.9

Zero upkeep or supportDo you want improved palm rejection, better ink render, and settings that actually work? yeah me too. but this app doesn’t have that at the moment. maybe try something else. I got this app to cut down on how ma note cards i was going through and even thought the UI on this is atrocious in ways none of my other ipad apps are. I stuck with it. mostly because i spent the money to go pro thinking the added settings would be worth it or make a difference. they did not. the most simple most annoying thing that finally made quit this app after months of use wasn’t even the shoddy palm rejection (card would flip on me mid note at random.) It was the fact that the pen thickness used in the note cards is permanently linked to the Board pen thickness. Going back and forth between note cards and board notes making diagrams and story boards was so tedious. I will be genuinely shocked if any of these issues are ever even acknowledged. As far as i can tell the team or person has basically abandoned this app. *shrug* oh well. it was good once upon a time, i hear..Version: 6.3

Zero Palm RejectionI would love to give this 5 stars because it allows me to work the way I naturally like to work, i.e. sketching and writing in longhand with the apple pencil on individual cards that I am free to organize however I please. Unfortunately the app doesn’t handle palm rejection too well, or even at all. This defeats the entire premise for this app. Writing or sketching on the cards causes it every now and then to flip, which should be triggered only by two-finger tap. It’s an awful disruption to your flow as you two-finger-tap back to the correct side of the card. And yes, your palm leaves marks on the cards too which is evidence that palm rejection is not working. I constantly have to erase these marks that my palm seems to be making where it rests on the screen. Doesn’t the Apple SDK already solve palm rejection for Apple Pencil for all developers? Please improve how the app handles palm rejection for this app to be truly worth the purchase..Version: 5.9

Great start, needs work to be able to accommodate large amounts of infoTrying to use to study for my MCAT. It’s a great start but already having to split my Chem book into 2 boards because it quickly runs out of space. Card keeps flipping when I’m writing on it which gets a bit annoying after awhile and there are no front end user settings to be able to change that. Consolidation of cards on the boards also is weird. Would love some upgrades to organizational options and tagging, then I could replace Anki 😆.Version: 6.1

I love this app BUT...I tried the free version and fell in love, so I purchased the paid version. I immediately ran into numerous bugs. These included reverting several changes, losing my inking on the board itself and freezing altogether. Not even a restart would fix it right away most of the time. I ran into the freezing issue numerous times. I really love this app but now I worry I can’t trust it with my work. My hope is that my issues can be easily resolved and addressed by the developer, I will happily adjust my review in that event. I am using an iPad Pro 12.9, gen 3 with the latest iPadOS software update 13.4..Version: 5.9

New card auto zooms inFor some reason in this version when you go on a card it automatically zooms in slightly making the + button disappear, so you have to manually adjust each card with your fingers too zoom out and get that button back. If you want to quickly add cards in succession it’s a killer..Version: 6.4

Crashes in split screnI downloaded this app to make flashcards, and was planning to use split screen with goodnotes to create them, but this app crashes after almost any action once it is in split screen with another..Version: 3.2

Random deletesI use this app all the time and used it successfully during a levels. since going to uni, for some reason it randomly deletes some sides of my flashcards so they’re blank. these take me a while to make so understandably i’m very annoyed. please fix this..Version: 5.7

It's got index cards but....There is no easy way to make the flash cards that i create flip without pressing the icon at the bottom. 2 problems. One, you need a study mode. This thing is always in edit mode and can't do anything without accidently drawing something etc. Two the study mode needs to be able to allow for people to be able to tap the card to flip it or hold it down and swipe to go to the next card. this auto edit mode is annoying and makes me kind of regret buying it. sure there are index cards you can write on and organize them and yes you can flip a card. but for learning large amounts of information in a short period of time this app slows me down..Version: 4.2

HeartbreakingI was so exited for this app ages ago when i first downloaded it. I even wrote a review but it never showed up. Not sure why. In my review i said it was incredible aside from the fact that it had such a small board. I mean what is the point of teasing us with such an amazing board app when you have such TINY board space. That was ages ago when i said that. It’s has been a long time after that and NOTHING has changed. Honestly what is the point of this tiny space when i cant even fit half an episode of cards (i work in tv and film) across the space. You guys have such an incredible tool here and you aren’t addressing the most important issue. Take a look at MURAL, those guys know what’s up (But crazy expensive). But they don’t have the amazing drawing and storyboarding features you do. Fix this board size MANY people will love you for it..Version: 4.4

Upset that I can’t share as flash cards with friends...This app is pretty pricey and I at least expected that my friends would be able to access these to help them study... annoyed.Version: 4.6

Very good review and some suggestionsFirst of all, thanks a lot for your very good concept and for how you actually executr the production of this app. Very well design, immediate learning and covering almost anything we users need in order to put things together. I pass to you some extra features that you may consider to implement: The FIRST one is related to the possible option to enlarge each card on the master board, so to be able to organize cards presenting them with in a different size... The SECOND one is to give the ability to insert more then one image on a single card This is all at the moment and again.. Thanks for your job and best regards Avio Matt.Version: 2.3

Palm rejection is severely deficientI have a project that needs the size of the board in this app, and the functionality it promises. So I read the user guide, got it all set up, and tried to start. Unfortunately, even with the wrist guard, and the Apple Pencil set up correctly, the card starts flipping the INSTANT I put my hand in position to write. If I move ever so slightly to flip the card back to the front it flips again. It was flipping back and forth like five or six times per SECOND, and there was nothing I could do to get so much as a single character of the alphabet written. Cannot be used the way I want. So even though I paid for this, I will have to use my other corkboard app (which is great, and aesthetically superior too, but the board isn’t as expandable as I want it to be). For the record, I can write successfully in several other apps. This app is waaaay behind the curve with “palm rejection.”.Version: 6.1

Waste of time and money!I installed this app on and iPad Pro to create flash cards for learning Thai. Bottom line: it’s so bad, I’ve been so frustrated, I’ve gone back to pen and paper. The user interface is NOT intuitive—many things... from things that should be simple, like having to search for a faint, small, strange-looking icon down in the bottom corner to flip cards; to organizing; to ability to center a word (l-r, t-b) in a card or use different fonts/font sizes on the same card-side (when typed). I wanted to make one side one color, one side another—can’t do that. When I tried to simplify with a shortcut by copying and pasting one card that I’d ~finally~ gotten kind-of close to what I wanted, the app froze after copy-and-pasting three. Don’t waste your time and money!.Version: 5.9

Great app but...I would give this app 5 stars but I wish it had a feature where you could start on the flip side of your notecards. ESPECIALLY useful if you were using your notecards to study and wanted to learn both ways. ALSO, this app should have a flip card feature on the left side for left-handed people. One thing I really like was the shuffle feature for notecards and flawless drawing capability. Other than that, fantastic app! I just need to know if the developers are responsive. Will update this review in a month or sooner for any changes..Version: 3.9

Good idea, lots of flawsThis app is overall a good idea. The flash cards and picture adding is great. There are some flaws though. The hand to Apple Pencil recognition often does not work, there should be folders you can organize your thoughts into, and there should be a way to mark your cards right or wrong while studying them. But most importantly is the auto save. I bought the full version (not worth $15) because it CRASHES AND YOU LOSE ALL OF YOUR WORK!!! Grad and med students know there is NO TIME FOR THIS!!! Should NOT happen with a $15 dollar app. Do better..Version: 5.9

I like that you can handwrite but...I love the fact that you can handwrite notecards and that’s why I bought the app. However apart from being able handwrite the app overall is very difficult. Trying to study is hard because of the wonky organization. I’m in an organic chemistry class and for on part of the class we have to do box problems where we guess the products based on the reagents used and flipping the notecard really helps. For the other part of the class we need to know the mechanisms on creating a desired product and a flow chart works better. I like the board idea for that aspect but a stacks, sort of along the lines of quizlet would be helpful for making a study group. So far the app is really only good for organizing ideas in a flow chart, it’s really not the best for studying which is why I gave it 2 stars. This app has a lot of potential because there are some classes or cases in general where apps, like quizlet, where typing is the only way of creating notecards doesn’t work..Version: 5.9

Free version is better?I enjoyed using Cardflow, so I purchased Cardflow+ expecting all the same features and more! And sure, there are a few additional features, but the Apple Pencil support is lacking compared to my experience in the free version. It was seamless before, and now I can’t even enable Pencil-Only Drawing Mode (and yes, Bluetooth is enabled on my device and in the app settings). Using my pencil is what I enjoy most about the app, so it’s a bummer to know I was better off saving the $15. UPDATE: Entire app is trash. I stupidly assumed that following the Cloud icon to save my boards meant they were being saved in my iCloud. They were not. They were saved to my device. I learned this after I deleted and reinstalled the app to fix the above bug and lost all of my previous workin the process. A refund would be great..Version: 6.3
