Online Features and Import
Import your transactions as a CSV-, QIF-, OFX- or mt940 file in order to see all transactions in iFinance. iFinance is also able to print on money transfer forms. Customers of a German bank are able to use HBCI import and HBCI banking.

WiFi or iCloud Sync
Synchronize your data between Mac computers, iPhones, and iPads (iFinance 4 for iOS sold separately at the iOS App Store) via iCloud or the integrated WiFi sync. The latter also allows you to use and edit databases together with multiple users. This may for example become useful if you are in charge of a club's or association's finances or if you manage a bank account with another person.

Charts, Reports, Budgets, and Budget Analysis
iFinance 4 offers a broad range of easy-to-customize charts and reports. According to your specifications, iFinance analyzes precisely where your money comes from and where you spend it. Use the Budgets feature to find out how much money you have left for the current month or whether you've been successful at keeping your spending at bay this month. Budgets can also be created for specific categories, such as monthly budgets for clothing, groceries or movie nights.

iPhone and Apple Watch Apps Available Separately

✓ Really goodI’ve been using iFinance since version 3. When I updated to version 4 (which appeared to be a re-write), there were features that were missing that were available in version 3. However with this recent update it’s now on par feature wise with version 3 and more! The ability to change transation types for multiple items at a time was a godsend!.HonkeyspongeVersion: 4.1.1

✗ Great concept but falls very short on simple things -lazy design ! Appalling waste of money!Version 4.3 is still appalling design and programming like the previous version. Inconsistent with basic financial principles and application design of any corporation I have worked for in the past 40 years. - concept of budget is farcical when not related to a time period (answer from developer- too hard - cannot relate budget to a year or month period etc - ridiculous !) - cannot review category analysis by excluding one of more categories (other apps cause all boxes to be ticked when you choose ALL and you simply untick the ones you do not want e.g. transfers) - cannot apply the category rules again (nor in a sequence to avoid duplicated words in different transactions) after you have imported the data - all must revert to manually updating each transactions Previous V4 Looks fabulous but really - only useful to display financial data managed elsewhere! Not designed for a real users with practical real world needs Sad really. Problems : - no account name in input file so all import files must be be separated and imported one account at a time - no Australia Banking import interface - no global change of fields or values possible - no auto create of Payee as contact on import - all manual entry - no ability to modify auto category setting and apply allocation to all, or subset, without changing each category manually - USA MDY dates sometimes displayed yet Aust DMY dates set in preferences - cannot sequence the priority rules order of application to avoid allocation to transaction which match two rules key words - no additional TYPE of INCOME/EXPENSE to separate types/reports - must manually tag each - profit/loss graphs do not make sense - financial year must be manually set each time used - not remembered/stored as a setting - cannot associate a WHO is RESPONSIBLE per transaction except as a TAG (e.g. who in family) in auto category assigning - cannot copy and paste multiple transactions between accounts - must do each singularly - no date is specified for start balance (meaningless value !!!?) for each account - cannot keep test database or categories from demo DB and open in licensed copy after a lot of work testing and preparing resulting in buying the product! Otherwise quite good, but requires lots of work to maintain manually and fix the software inadequacies ! Bought it just for display purposes in the end, even though it is clumsy and takes lots of time to compensate for poor design and programming. Hope this helps - BUT NOT RECOMMENDED.
