CREATE
Choose and connect parts together to build rocket ships. You can choose from a variety of rocket engines, fuel tanks, and other gizmos. You can even build rovers with powered wheels. You are only limited by your imagination.
EXPLORE
Blast off from any planet you want. You can fly through the intense atmosphere of Venus, or you can take advantage of the low gravity of Mercury. Whip around the sun and launch yourself out to the far reaches of the solar system.
CHALLENGES
Several challenges are built into the game so you can see who can go the fastest, fly the farthest, orbit with the least amount of fuel, land on the moon, and so much more.
ROCKET SCIENCE
Kepler wrote the equations 400 years ago, and SimpleRockets uses those equations to model extremely realistic orbital physics. Players will learn about rocket science and astrodynamics while they are having a blast exploring the solar system. This makes SimpleRockets ideal for the classroom, or as a healthy alternative to the barrage of brainless games available on the App Store.

The game is the closest to KSP your gonna get without buying a $1,500 Godzilla sized CPU with like 5 trillion G's of RAM (sarcasm). this is KSP in 2D, basically. Yeah your gonna want a refund but when you get tired of crashing, read the toturial, it'll help you, a lot. It's not the best looking but it's fun, really fun. as a person who like physics based games, this is for you, anyone who hates the game is too lazy to figure out how to build a proper rocket so they come here and complain. 10/10 in my book..Version: 1.6.7

✗ Doesn't workI have this game on my ipad and I love it...! I downloaded the version for my mac today but it crashes everytime I try to open it :(.Version: 1.6.7
✗ Poor execution for Mac OSXI have this game on my iPad, Samsung tablet and phone. The game works great on all but my Mac, running OSX 10.10.5. The game crashes every time I attempt to launch a rocket. The developers refuse to address the issue that the code only allows one attachment point per item which means it is impossible to build anything complex and if one attempts to build anything complex, it will be destroyed upon launch. The developers would also do well to integrate some sort of override for the warp functions. It takes literally HOURS to accomplish any major feat because at certain distances, warp is disabled at which point you are playing the game in real time; and as they say, “we didn’t get to the moon in a day…" The game should be renamed “Very Very SimpleRockets” as you will have accomplished everything you’ll ever want to do in a period of a few hours of game play until the game allows you to make two attachment point. I would ask for my money back but that would be an insult to a theif..Version: 1.6.7
