✓ Great Upgrade from the 2nd!Although I'm already done with it, there is so much more, once you get explorers hat, find the red portals for the ghost flags and unlock the rest of the cosmetics, and upgrading power ups is a change. I only wish that each pack had a power up or new hat guaranteed, I'm getting too many dupes that I don't need already, and I'm just trying to finish to explore the game now, and if only there was an info button, (there might be) that shows the what each icon on the course represents, and how many there are. Every course I have: Gold star Clean ball Ghost flag And nearly all bux Unfortunately, the £2.29 upgrade for more courses, and obviously not finishing the game unless you get all cards/trophies, which I so nearly have as well... ✓ Fore!!!!! + 1 out of 5They have taken a perfect game and made it even more perfect. I loved SSG2. This new game takes the same formula and adds to it without breaking anything. I haven't yet seen everything on offer but what I have seen is great. The spin adds a great dynamic. The controls and interface are perfect. ✓ A tiny bit worse than I expectedBut don't get me wrong, it's still great! The gameplay is fun and the new features and power ups make it all the more interesting, but I just feel like some of the animations and the interface were lacking a bit. I can't find my Achievements tab anywhere, for one, and the ball/ball trail animation is a bit laggy and unclean. Really loving the card system, though. ✓ Addictive and ChallengingGreat game. Downsides are the impossible to par on HARD level 4 (final level). I have silver minimum on every map but cannot get within 15 shots on the last level. It's also frustrating that there's no restart button on each hole. Those 2 shot penalties are horrible, especially in later levels. An improvement would be to enable a restart option on the power of a swing. I often accidentally tap the button to start and stop and the have to follow through the shot..Version: 1.7.8
✓ Fun gameI like the game but my only problem with it is how you set the spin after you have done the shot once the ball has landed. This is unrealistic and makes it easy to sink any shot you get near the hole. I think the fact that the spin makes it move a lot sometimes is good but you should have to set the spin before the shot surely..Version: 1.7.14

✓ Really good but...This game is very fun, and i do enjoy it very much. However there are a few problems that can be fixed. First of all, there are so many pop-up ads. I know thats not really a problem but still after every time you load into a course or something else a pop-up ad appears and takes you to the app store. Secondly, the spin feature is a bit too good. I think they should lower the spin a tiny bit. For example a ball can go past the hole and it is possible for it to spin back into the hole. Thats too over powered. And, finally , the race mode feature is broken. I can never find matches, furthermore i know this problem has nothing to do with my game centre because i have not changed it for a while and it worked fine in SSG2. ✓ Absolute fun, and still playing!Loved the previous version, and this one’s even better. Loads of courses with a variety of hills, traps, portals, sticky walls, powerups, costumes, and game modes, it will take you a while to just go through the regular set of courses, and you can download a bunch more afterwards! Even after you finish all the courses, you can go back and do the extra challenges (gold stars for 10 under par, collect all bux, using no powerups, etc), and the Daily Race. If that’s not enough, you can compete with friends in multiplayer race mode, or play turn-based games. Adding the replays so you can watch your opponent’s turns makes it so much more enjoyable. I started the turn-based matches with my 11yo son and we have a howl laughing at each other’s mistakes and misses or amazing swings. Playing this for years, and still love it. EASILY worth the few bucks… 1 coffee’s worth. I REALLY hope there’s a sequel coming. Get it!!.Version: 1.7.27

Have gotten part way through the course under par and then one or two level kills you. ✓ Love this game. Can’t wait for SSG4.I play his game everyday; so I’m a huge fan. I just have some suggestions for SSG4: 1. Add a random feature. When a match ends, ask if you’d like to play again. Then add an option for random match. When you select that, it will pick a random course and mode. It could be random without watching, or you can continue to press the randomizer until you find a combination you like. 2. Allow the player to undo their first two taps. There are lots of times I accidentally press it the second time, and I wish I could undo it. 3. When setting up the match, show the challenger’s name. 4. ✓ Noticed a couple of bugs/frustrating functions in the gameThe game is great, I didnt play any of the previous titles, but I think there are some things that need fixing. The short pole (or whatever its called) is annoying because I sometimes want to use the long pole (or again whatever that is called) instead of it. There was one level where it was impossible to finish using the short pole, but the game still forced me to use it... So that needs fixing, I recommend you just allow players to switch between the two as they like. Another annoying thing is the charge up, please make it possible to cancel it. There was some situations where it was impossible for me to get anywhere with that kind of strength of shot, but I am forced to play using that strength. This makes me give up a move for nothing . Allow players to cancel their shot strength and readjust it. Everything else it well thought out and should stay unchanged. Please make these improvements in your next update..Version: 1.1

Not only is singleplayer fun when you complete courses and unlock card packs to get new hats, trails, and golfers, but you also have race mode and turn based mode which are extremely fun to play with friends. ✓ Repeat cardsI love the game, so much that I bought premium. But the repeat of cards from packs is a bit excessive. I’m level 25 without using bux to level myself up, and I use them all on packs, and I’m still not even close to getting every hat/golfer. ✓ King of iOS GolfThis is the best golf game I’ve ever played on iOS. The gold standard. Download it already. The game is super fun, and easy to learn. The introduction of the spin mechanic makes controlling the ball even better. The game ups the difficulty at a good pace, introducing new things with each course. Even better is the downloadable courses you can get to continue the game. The only con really is trying to collect all the skins, hats, & trails. This is where the money making part of the game is, so I can’t fault them that much. Just wish card packs wouldn’t give so many duplicates of things. All in all, amazing game. Would love to see some new courses, and would love the ability to customize the rules for head to head matches. ✓ Great game, but one problem...I've been a vivid player of SSG2, unlocking all the gift packs and having heaps of fun. It was enjoyable, simple and had some sort of arcade charm. Its successor is different. It is still fun, and has a bit more mechanics to understand yet nothing to complicated. The art is a step in the right direction, looking nice and modern but it may still be missing a little clean and crisp look. The packs system is a nice addition to the game, being somewhat rewarding. However, the sound design is a disappointment. Let's take SSG3's predecessor: SSG2. The music was phenomenal! It was catchy, nice and had a theme depending on the difficulty and setting of the stage you were playing... The sound effects were also perfect: for example, the sound of hitting the ball, or the ball bounces, ... They were all really clean and "polished", I'd say. In SSG3, it all sounds a bit odd. The sound effects when hitting the ball or when the ball hits a surface just don't sound right, they feel rather outdated. The music is disappointing when it lacks that catchy chip-tune which was so memorable and enjoyable in SSG2. It all really lacks quality in that factor. The sound design needs to be renewed and polished to be much more enjoyable and acceptable. I understand that the game is still quite new and maybe a redesign for the sound effects was already in the making. I also understand that these are tiny things and people might just call me picky... However, I still wanted to point this out. Overall, SSG3 is a still a great game in the fun factor. However, the sound design is lacking quality and needs some polishing to live up to the standards of the last instalment. ✓ SmashingSSG has always been one of my go-to turn-based multiplayer games. The single player aspect will keep you entertained for days if not weeks trying to get all the achievements. The daily race mode challenge is a great way of getting you back in the game each day. The normal multiplayer race mode is great fun if you've got the time to sit down and have a full match, however it would be better if rage-quitters were penalised for exiting the game prematurely. The in-app purchases are also completely unnecessary if you don't wish to pay for anything. Definitely recommended..Version: 1.4

✓ Fantastic Upgrade from SSG2I've only been playing for under an hour and already I love this game. The system of getting hats/characters/trails with card packs makes it far more exciting than the lottery/buying in SSG2. The levels are all brand new and look like they are of the same exceptional quality as in SSG2. I absolutely love the new game mechanic of spin, it makes the whole game experience much richer and keeps you involved the entire time. The IAPs are tasteful, not the same kind of in your face, need to buy to succeed as in some other games and this makes them far more encouraging to buy. All in all, this looks like a brilliant instalment in the Super Stickman Golf series and a game I am going to be playing for a long time. Get the game, now. P.S.
