✓ Good game but...It is a good game it isn't the masterpiece that everyone makes it out to be. There are some things like some choices don't really do anything while others that look like they don't actually matter but they do a lot. It is a good game but in my opinion, it doesn't hold up to other games like Hero's Rise and Choice of Deathless *spoilers* At the end you can save destiny or not, and you really have to want to do either. There is no go between. If you mess up and ruin everything then everyone gets mad at you even if you tried your best. Also the gods seem to mess with your destiny even though it is supposed to be bad. It is also really hard to have faith in the gods as a player when you know that they are jerks. I wanted to be faithful but I knew the truth. It is also really hard to deviate from previous. Good world building but bad way to make your champion develop as a character..Cool dude 754344Version: 1.0.1

✓ Wonderful!I just had to go ahead and review this game because in the short time I've had it I've fallen in love! It's short but not too short where it makes me bored easily. And it's not an extremely long COG that makes me too scared to go back for achievements. Also I love the options for the romances with the prince/princess! The fact that you can choose their personality is amazing and I wish it was in more COGs to be honest! Another thing I'd like to point out is the fact that if you get into a lesbian relationship (only tested the lesbian one so I'm not sure about whether this shows up for gay relationships too) with the Princess, the story mentions how the nobles will offer their children up as surrogates essentially! I really enjoyed that little part because it really adds depth to it and makes it so it's not just a story with interchangeable pronouns but with actual changes in dialogue based on sexuality! Well this review is long enough so I'm gonna end it here with one last thing: I would not complain if there was a sequel to this made 😄.IneffablySerpentineVersion: 1.0.1

The writing is fantastic and detailed with the write mix of story flavor and choices. ✓ Interesting, even if a bit linearFun idea to be a champion of the gods, being a loyal servant or choose not to serve. Those are pretty much your choices, as the story tends to play out no matter what you choose and it can feel like the story is carrying on with no regard to your choices unless it's to branch off towards an ending. It wasn't as rewarding when you make your choices, as it carried that sense of "correct choice" throughout most of the game. There was a "right way" to play, so that felt a bit less immersive and shorter than it is (fair bit of pointless choices too). ✓ Great story, tough choices!I think this is one of the higher quality CoG games on the App Store. I enjoyed the cast of characters and the mythological setting. I didn't really feel as though my personality traits or abilities came into play that often, but it may have just been hidden well.
