✓ This is superior!I wanted to determine what the short, mid and long term financial benefits would be in refinancing our current mortgage now that interest rates have dropped. I wanted detailed comparisons, and some key questions answered, not just a semi-useless summary. I tried several online calculators... very awkward to get the level of detail needed. Irritating ads. Needed pencil and paper - to answer some key questions - awkward. I could have done it manually on my business calculator sitting idle in the kitchen draw.... big pain in the neck to get the level of detail needed in usable form. Karl’s calculator was fantastically easy to use, user friendly, fast, and lays out all the amortization details on an easy to play with slider tool. The amortization tables, with loan balances, interest paid, etc. etc., charts, graphs, summary, and more are all there and intuitive to use. So, I entered the variables for my current mortgage and wallowed within the results. Did the same for other scenarios. I emailed the detailed reports to myself, compared the .csv spreadsheets (all on my IPad). Don’t bother to look elsewhere for a mortgage calculator. Even if your needs are totally basic, you can’t beat this one..Version: 2.2

✓ Best Mortgage CalculatorI had this calculator for years on my Samsung and was waiting for it to come available on IPhone! This is by far the easiest, most accurate, most versatile calculator available for mortgage information. Put in property values and set your % down based on loans your looking at and bam! It puts up the down needed, and has adjustments for APR rates as well as many others. Your monthly total pops up and it's dead on. You can add extra monthly payments, annually, semi annual, taxes, rents collected, everything. But it's simple and easy! Soooo easy! Love Karl's Mortgage Calculator! ✓ Great calculator but missing some featuresI've been using the web version Karl's calculator since many many years ago and love it. Unfortunately the iOS port of it is a very basic port of it and could use a cleaner look and feel. The biggest missing feature for me it's having the ability to have multiple saved calculations as I often compare scenarios. I'd also like to see a paid option that removes ads. Will definitely update review to 5 stars if the above are added. *Update* I changed rating from 3 to 4 because I found that there's a way to save mortgage setting. Not the most intuitive location but it works.Version: 2.0
