✓ It's sorta Ok. Google app and Siri still out performWhen I first saw the video about this app I will say I was blown away and impressed on how it processed information and was able to multi task. Signed up for the beta and all. When I downloaded it and started to use he app, I was disappointed that it was not as advertised. Still somewhat useful, it still has an issue picking up certain words and modifies it to what it thinks you said, changes it, then gives you a different search. Thought it'd be a replacement for Siri but it isn't. The voice is too monotone like Siri. Other phones nowadays are using a more realistic voice which is more pleasing to the ear. In order to use "ok hound" you have to manually open the app and maintain it open unlike "hey Siri". Such an inconvenience when hands free. Step your game up gents. ✓ Many limitationsI thought this app may overcome the fact that Siri starts up when you pick up the phone and unless you said it otherwise which essentially disables it Hound is activated by using the mic icon and stopped by releasing the mike icon. Siri is difficult to shut off and Hound seemed to overcome this. But Hound doesn't read contacts which doesn't make it very useful. It also starts up on the welcome page. So I went back to using Siri and found out all I had to say is shut off Siri and it turned off. Hound is now gone..Apple.PatVersion: 1.3.2

✓ A few more options than Siri but...Ok, so I was pump to get this new app. Yahoo article made it sound awesome. It is very fast I'll give you that, but it doesn't understand what I say very often like Siri does. Siri very seldom gets my words wrong. I asked it to translate where is my ladder into Spanish and it translated where is my latter. I'm using Siri to write this. And Siri even got ladder correct. ✓ FraudulentThis app does not work in the way advertised or at all. It just returns generic Yelp information. They charge £19.99 GBP/year. I contacted their team who replied “results may vary by location.” I live in central London, so if it is not working here it’s not working anywhere. They provide a refund? NO. Avoid this app - it’s a scam - simply riding the on AI wave with a few influencers on board. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell this non functional app on the App Store. Rubbish. ✓ Best digital assistant; but needs 2 thingsI would have rated this 4 or even 5 stars but it lacks 2 most important things. First, it lacks optimization for iPad. Secondly, it lacks either either Siri integration or some other way to have the user be able to access this great app without having to open the app with their hands and then say "Okay Hound...". In essence, my feedback is saying it's great but difficult to access. The app is wonderful at doing what it advertises. It is a really fast and smart digital assistant. ✓ Hoping for a Siri replacement? This IS NOT it!I was hoping for a smarter, more interactive version of Siri or Ok Google. But this app fails on so many levels. Siri and Google give me a +90% accuracy rate on dictation. Hound is lucky to understand ~10% of what I say (that is if you ask questions that aren't "recommended" by the Hound developers - seems fishy, right?). Hound is 100% accurate when you ask the questions the app programmers recommend. Go off script and Hound fails miserably! Wonder why that is? Hmmm. ✓ Nice…except for this one thing….My main use of Siri is in my car where she can be invoked from my steering wheel. I do not have CarPlay…but wish I did…or rather that my BMW i3 did. But with Siri I can call a number, send a text or email, listen to a text or email, and get directions to wherever. I can open an app, but what do I do with it after it’s open (while driving). I can open iTunes but I don’t listen to “songs”, I listen to symphonies — which no AI-based app can figure out. OK, Hound can do this stuff and other stuff Siri cannot do…but I can’t invoke Hound with my hands on the wheel nor can she listen through my car mike system nor can she speak through my entertainment system. An app could be “Ex Machina” but if I can’t talk to it hands-free…in my car…it’s only a novelty..JBBevanVersion: 1.0

✓ Has PotentialThis is promising, the potential to be a great app is there, just needs more work. What good does it do me to have to launch the app to use it? I can do the same with Siri, Google. It would better if it could be launched from the locked screen, with voice recognition.
