✓ Sensational IndianThis is a superb collection of Indian recipes for someone looking to dive into this cuisine. Indian curries have been a favorite of mine for years, and this did not disappoint when comparing the prepared dishes to the number of restaurants I’ve been to... Everything you need is here in the app, as well as some pleasant surprises, such as the steamed salmon. Next I will try the lamb samosas in an air fryer and see what happens... I’ve passed this app onto people who have been cooking Indian for decades, and have gotten nothing but positive reviews.....Version: 2.1

✓ Amazing, a must for Indian food loversI have been cooking Indian food for 50 years mainly using Maduri Jaffrey's books. Her dishes are great but I missed the flavors of the English Indian Restaurants. I have tried a few dishes are they are fantastic. I added a couple of "the Curry Guy's" dishes to a meal I cooked for our newly formed dinner club and the response was nothing but praise from our 7 guests! I cooked a lot food! It's was all eaten! ✓ Comprehensive Indian Curry App.This is a great app in as much that the instructions and pictures are really useful for the novice chef - as are, the loads of recipes that are on offer . It would be nice however if your app could be used in 'landscape' instead of 'portrait'. An iPad needs to be used in 'landcape' - because it is so awkward without this option - esp. when cooking ! ( does anyone use their iPad in 'portrait' - no never ! ) please see to it......!!!!.Version: 2.1

✓ Great cookbook!Delicious recipes. The only thing I'd change would be to include amounts in the methods and step by step sections (i.e. Instead of "add the onions" say "add the ten onions" and instead of add the chili powder and turmeric say "add the teaspoon of chili powder and 2 teaspoons of turmeric") it's a bit annoying having to back and forth between method and ingredients, particularly with hands wet from chopping. ✓ Outstanding app for a curry lover!So yeah- it's annoying to wait 20 Minutes for all the images to load but my experience has been that once it's done, it's done forever. And then the app works fine. It's WELL worth it, btw. The photographic step by step instructions are amazing. Really let's you know you're on the right track. So far, I've made the base curry sauce, chicken madras, chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, and a chana masala inspired by these ideas. Every dish has been perfect. ✓ Brilliant CurriesI normally cook Indian and Thai meals from scratch, to distinguish them from "curries", which are pre cooked food same as you buy in restaurants. However, I still enjoy "curries" and this is the best source of them that I have found. Excellent. P.S. Great for breads and side dishes, as well.Version: 1.1

✓ Can’t restore purchases.Did an update, need to restore purchases, frustrating because soooo slow, when 1st purchased took half an hour or more. Tried 3 times to restore without success. Other Apps with much bigger files aren’t this slow! Now it has a different page with a wood background, says it is loading images tried another 3 times, stopped at 90%, tried again, starts all over stopped/crashed at 98% and again at 90%, now gone over data usage for the month, don’t think it is a problem at my end, as i have no other problem with any other apps & current OS. Please look into, must be a better way?.Version: 2.0

✓ Great app but need yo be updatedUrgent updates are in need before purchasing the app as a lot of recipes are not to be found that i like. Many of the popular items and more typical recipes are found. Such as chicken korma but no saag balti dishes. It tastes great but would greatly appreciate if a recommended place to get the spices as some are not easily sourced as some items are very specific for the dish and sometimes make it bland. I found that making chicken tikka masala the method needs revising as i found spelling mistakes and missed ingredients in the method. But i do recommend the app to an amateur cook like me..Version: 2.1

✓ Years of experience and experimentation for a small price!This is the first review I have ever got the motivation to actually write! I felt I had to after spending some time working my way through the basic recipes. The app itself is basic but effective. It could be more comprehensive if there were videos created for each recipe, it would certainly help in the step by step process. I’m guessing most of these would exist already on the YouTube channel. This and maybe some background on pantry items, equipment used and tips & tricks would take this app to a whole other level. All that being said I can only rate this app 5 stars. Purely for the Curry Guy providing so much quality and easy to understand information and instruction on Indian cooking. The amount of passion, knowledge and experience shows through and allows a very amateur home cook to create real quality BIR dishes. I am from the UK but moved to Namibia in Africa 8 years ago. The craving for a decent curry drove me crazy for years. These recipes have enabled me to create the type of curry I never thought I could make myself at home. I am still keen to get a hard copy of the book at some point as the app currently is not as comprehensive, but thank you for putting it out there and inspiring home cooks to produce real quality dishes!.Version: 2.1

It did not disappoint, in fact my first effort tasted way better that some I’ve had in restaurants! Subsequent efforts have been even better. My goal now is to work through every one.
