✓ Awful company and customer service!I had a premium subscription since 2019, using the MacOS app. My subscription expired prompting me to renew. What followed was a confusing mess of incompetence and mismanagement. The payment links for renewal didn’t work, their main website was broken and they had seemingly discontinued the version of the app I was using and launched a new one, with a separate user account database, and no parity, without telling any of their customers, leading to suspicion and confusion. Finally managed to renew, and manually install the new version of the app, despite the old app having an update system, just to then attempt to cancel the auto-renew for my annual subscription, as detailed in the terms, to be met with a customer service team doing everything possible to stop me from doing it. All trust was destroyed between customer and company, I asked for a full refund. I will find another VPN service provider which isn’t such a disaster. Be warned!.Version: 5.1.0

✓ Decent but intermittent connectivity issuesI believe it is doing as intended, when going on some websites the site will say it doesn’t recognize my device and make me do the standard “I’m not a robot” test when I didn’t have to that for those websites previously. And if I sign into an account with my phone, I will get an email saying a device is trying to sign in from some location far away from me asking if it’s me or not, so it seems as though this app is doing a good job of hiding my phone and making it more difficult to track me. The only problem I have with the app is that when I am connected through it the data rate will at times really slow down or quit working all together, I then flip over to the app and disconnect the VPN and then the data works again. I then connect it again a little while later and it seems to be fine again for awhile..Version: 6.1.0

✓ Worst VPN I’ve Ever HadWorks sometimes. Other times doesn’t. You get what you pay for. Only $8. To update: they say if you are not satisfied w/in 30 days of purchase that you will be refunded. I handle that by switching it on and off multiple timed. What I am most unhappy with is the change of ads recently. If you are watching porn, your isp knows. When testing a literal geo location while using, it allowed my literal exact location on earth to be seen. Not even a rough estimate. My exact location. Most of the time I have to exit out of the app and then reboot everything in order for it to work again. The app routinely forgets I am “premium” and I have to continually restore my purchase. The most recent issue was that I had to completely remove the app to keep my iPad from trying to automatically turning on the vpn which wasn’t even open. Which would in turn kill the WiFi connection. First the button would sometimes break. I would press the button to turn it off and it would show “disconnecting” but never did so. I would have to repeatedly tap the button SEVERAL times for it to ACTUALLY disconnect. Other times I would try to connect to a network with my VPN and it refuses! It will connect to my cell data but not the Network. It works maybe 35% of the time, and that’s being generous. I’ve considered paying for premium but there is no use in paying for an app that is already broken. Definitely considering trying Betternet VPN. - LightSaberLesbian.Version: 2.0.3

One point that changed my mind about this app. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the password I used to set up my hexatech free trial and after approximately ten attempts at resetting my password, using the correct email address, I just give up.
