✓ Genuinely like it. However.Personally it’s great, it’s easy to make remixes, new beats from scratch, or even just filter your voice. However the monetization feels very very forced. Having a subscription is fine (despite it being better to just have a one time purchase and you’re done) however locking importing your own sounds behind the subscription itself feels incredibly predatory to me personally. You could keep the subscription style and simply allow people to import their own sounds (possibly with a data limit) or just make it one singular purchase and relegate a subscription to another purpose. Don’t get me wrong it’s great for what it is, but having to pay 8 dollars every month when most of the time people will get it ONLY to allow importing their own sounds and samples, it could be done better..Version: 7.1.2

✓ Someone finally got a GarageBand alternative right!Just downloaded this tonight and have played with it for the last few hours. I’ve been super impressed with the sounds, how easy it is and how well it works. I’ve always loved the sounds from GarageBand but the app has always been a mess, hard to save the files and always having tracks disappear. GB is also Mac only so I’ve had to use it solely on the iPhone which has been a bit of a pain. This app makes it really easy to create beats that work really well for a vlog. I plan on buying several of the store packs. Some of them really good. Hope they have a much larger selection in the future. Get this app!.Version: 3.5

I highly suggest this for everybody body. If you’ve never made a beat in your life start here. If you have been making beats for years. Go here. Yet something changed; I used to be able to hit record and start my loops up and (< 3 minutes without the special) jam out. Once I ended my tune I’d stop the recording and save. ———now I hit record and the recorder goes to one pad only and records my voice or drum pads or something. And I haven’t figured out how to record a song full of my chosen loops and sounds. My friends and I “who can’t make music” are having a blast playing with it as well as collaborating with the help of the almighty cloud. ✓ Remixlive is funIt’s a dope little app if you’re stuck in a car and wanna make some simple beats for your friends also in the car, or you’re stuck at home etc. it’s really simple to use and isn’t an amazing daw and you can’t get into details producing beats, it’s not a program like fruity loops but like I said it’s fun for what it is, very easy to use and anyone who downloads it might decide they enjoy producing beats and maybe will look into actual daws. For those reasons (and also because it’s free and they do not pressure you into buying more features on the app) I think it’s pretty dope and def worth a download to play around with it..Version: 7.1.2

There are a few lesser melodies than other apps including with all the packs but, it is still a superior app nonetheless. I am still trying to figure out the sequence element of the whole process. I created a few samples and making an actual beat is more artist-like with the interaction with instruments. I get to play the bongos on my phone and incorporate them into the actual beat. There is no way to turn it off outside of the app. The only way to turn it off is by manually going to the app and deselecting everything so it stops. The updated drum sequencer is killer for creating on the fly midi loops that can play along with the audio loops. Audio stems and harmony pitch options are really nice. Just a fun and quick program to improvise dance tracks or create a complete live set for a gig without any other software. If it had built in synths and/or audio units/VSTs there would be almost no reason to use any other software for creating EDM music of all genres..Version: 7.6.3

✓ Greatest Remix App On Google StoreI am self taught on Ableton Live. Been mixing for about five years or more now. You can look me up on Sounclod Joel Stolarski. Remix live is just great. I want to learn how to create drum and bass. I just can’t sit in front of a mix station all day long. I use it on my IPad and can load samples record audio clips and experiment with mixes, then upload them to cloud and fine tune them in Ableton. One: lets say i record a track on the future beat pack, and then i record a different sounding track on the same pack, the tracks end up sounding exactly the same, which means that if i want to record a track using sounds from a pack I’ve already recorded in, i have to create a new pack and add those songs, which gets really annoying because i have to keep creating new packs with the same sounds in it. Please fix this!!! Another suggestion I have is maybe a couple times a week can we maybe watch a video to get a new pack? ✓ Great app but could be amazing with tweeksIt’s a great app but with some tweaks it would be amazing. I’ve been creating a song within the app, but I cannot sync or continue with it on my iPad so that for me would be a must. When editing or placing riffs and melodies, it is very clumsy and tends to shoot off left or right. The app tends to forget what sound pack you’re using until you reselect it and then you can select all the beats and rhythms you’ve created with certain sounds. I would say it’s ok to remix pre made melodies and beats on the phone but it’s best suited for a tablet interface. The remix tools don’t offer much and are very simple and limited even though they did an update, maybe it’s because I’m using it on a phone. I used to use launchpad which has similar features with remixing live soundpacks but they change it because it didn’t make the options more available. Also with the effects, you can only use one at a time for the whole song and doesn’t sound all too good when you just want to layer an effect on one track rather than the whole song. The only really important change I would make in the app is being able to sync from device to device, the rest I can live with. Otherwise keep up the great work..Version: 7.5.1

✓ Ok.. Edit:- Now better than ok..I’ve revisited this app after some time and it has improved. It’s not quite there yet though, I’m still seeing a lot of bugs here and there. Import is a bit long winded and often displays an error when returning to my iCloud folder. Other cloud options (e.g. Dropbox ), are just broken and it’s impossible to sign in. I’ve also noticed a tendency for pads to ‘lock up’, I.e. I can still hear a sample playing but touching the onscreen pad again won’t turn off the sample. Resetting the app is the only cure when it does this. I do like this app, but still prefer the Novation Launchpad app, which is very similar, ( I just find it more intuitive). Edit:- revisited again, and I have to say, I'm swayed now. I purchased the pro features a while ago, the app seems much more stable, and I have been browsing the soundpacks. They are really, really good. Yet with the Apple version of this app you can only have 1 colour of each section ? ✓ Suggestion if applicableA bit of concerns when using app. As of recent I noticed that the packs and files were deleted upon activation of app when attempting to use, luckily I was able to export files and save my progression for future use. However I had to reset application various times in order to retrieve my subscription and redownload my packs, which apparently it’s becoming a continuous reoccurrence. I would like to see if there is a way to secure the application by using some type of account protocol or security function, since I caught either a bot attack or intruder whom bypassed into the device in the attempt of erasing its data and copying the application for their own use. Before you think this is ludicrous, Yes this is plausible. Just a suggestion to think about if anyone is having the same issues. Besides that this a helpful tool to innovate my creativity in beats or utilizing its packs to assist in mixing with other tracks. Love it’s functionalities for MIDI controllers in attachment with other applications and digital systems.
