✓ As good as the printed version but with infinite colors!I enjoyed Millie Marotta's printed coloring book "Tropical Wonderland", so when I encountered this app of course I downloaded right away. I actually prefer the app because it has high quality pictures just like the printed version, plus I have an infinite range of colors to choose from and the undo/eraser function which are obviously missing in the printed environment ;) Certain images you have to pay for, but you can start with the free images which are just as fun..Version: 1.1.5

✓ Love this app!I was so happy when I came across this as l've been looking for an adult colouring app that actually lets you colour and not just tap and fill. I'm using it on my iPad Air 2 with an Adonit Pro stylus which works well for this app. I have been a fan of the adult colouring books for some while but find this app so much easier to open and colour than having to get out my book and pencils especially as I now don't have to worry about putting a light on as I suffer from insomnia so can be colouring at 3 or 4 in the morning whilst my OH snores beside me! ----------------------------------------------- Loving the latest update and the option to creat your own colours. The new images are fantastic and very reasonableness priced. ----------------------------------------------- UPDATE - Upgraded my iPad and I've lost all the drawing I had previously coloured!!! ✓ Very EnjoyableHaving got a bit fed up with Happy Colour I decided to give this a go. You really do need an Apple Pencil (or alternative) as you won’t get very far just by using your finger as you need fine control. The controls and colour palette are nice and just right. The only annoying thing hard to get used to is remembering to use two fingers to move the picture as try using one and you’ll be drawing a line across the picture. Not a problem if you haven’t coloured that part in. Takes a bit of time to fix if you have. An undo button in that situation would be useful. Definitely a nice way to pass the time and the free drawings are very intricate and will take a while to colour. The others are also priced right at 0.99 per back. Not sure how many are in the packs but even half a dozen is still worth it as there will be a good few hours per picture. [Edit: Just noticed says six per pack]. Would be nice to have something that is photorealistic to make a really nice challenge, maybe needing to zoom much further in to colour..Version: 1.1.5

This is the 1st coloring app that I’ve found that I like and can use my new Apple pencil. Her drawings are gorgeous and it will be fun to experiment with different colors, and even recolor the same picture. I look forward to her adding more color palettes and more pictures. ✓ Yes Yes YesIn my personal opinion this app has the best free brushes. And the coloring pages are so complex and gorgeous! The colored pencil actually feels like a real colored pencil unlike pigment. And the free pack is really good. I’ll probably be buying another pack or so when I get done with a few of the free ones. I love how there isn’t a subscription and you can Recolor the pages as you please. With the complexity of the pages you’re limitless on the designs you can make. I love the way the Apple pencil(gen 1) works flawlessly. You have access to a color wheel and can save colors in a pallet like format for use. I’m a rainbow lover and use the pallet as such when doing certain projects. One thing I’d love to see is more packs. ✓ Fantastic Pictures!This app is simply wonderful. It works brilliantly with the Apple Pencil (I’m using an iPad Pro 10.5”, first gen pencil). There are no subscriptions to fool with, just simple purchases. The developers were kind enough, however, to grant everyone 6 free pictures to color as we wish. They’re gorgeous images. As to the folks who complain that everything in life should be free, that’s absurd. Would you work for free? Do you walk into Barnes and Noble and expect free books? No. The developers put a lot of time and effort into this app and thus deserve to be paid accordingly. Download it. Try out the pictures. You stand to lose nothing. ✓ More realistic style coloringI have been looking for just for the right adult coloring app, for a long time now, and this one has been the closest. There isn’t a whole bunch of coloring tool options, but some of us just want it simple. The majority of them force you to stay in the lines; this one is more realistic as if it was paper and you were coloring with colored pencils. There is a healthy amount to colour for free and blocks of themed pages for additional colouring to also support the artist, at a reasonable price. I’d happily pay $1.39 for a book than $6.99 a week in a ridiculously expensive subscription. The colours are fully adjustable. There is an option between pencil and brush. Finally an adult colouring app that actually behaves like coloured pencils on paper - not just filling blocks with colour as ALL the other colouring apps do. The pictures are all challenging as well as delightful. I can't emphasise enough how different this colouring app is from all the others. Be prepared to spend literally hours working on each picture, giving you a real sense of accomplishment at the finish. Some people are commenting that it's hard to colour accurately. But isn't that the fundamental challenge of colouring in the first place? To take your time and not mind too much if you go over the lines? ✓ Fantastic!L o v e this app so much after getting my Apple Pencil, it’s my most used app. It’s calming, I can easily allow 3 or 4 hours to pass me by without a care in the world. I decided to treat myself and buy all the packs to keep me really busy for when I’m just bored and don’t want to be plopped in front of the tv all night. I use it when I’m not feeling well and when I can’t sleep and this seems to heal both of those problems for me! Things to improve: When I zoom in on a picture (because I’m a neat freak and have to get perfectly in the lines), the picture begins to pixelate and blur which isn’t helpful. I’d like for there to be a way to fully categorise the colours instead of just one section ‘my colours’. Too often I’ve forgotten the shade I was using and I have way too many saved to constantly scroll through so some sort of subdivision would be nice. Often when I’m moving the page around with my finger or pinching to zoom-in and out, it almost always never recognises that that is what I’m doing and I get a nice line of colour (or eraser) across my picture - alongside that, the ‘undo’ button doesn’t always un-grey so I have to correct everything myself (going back to having to remember what colours I used for what and when). My recently used colours rarely appear in the colour panel at the bottom left meaning again, I have to keep scrolling through all my colours to find the one I want/was previously using. I have noticed after colouring for a long period of time (and I’m not sure if this is to do with my devices) my palm is recognised on the screen and the Pencil stops colouring altogether or lag happens. I did just buy my Apple Pencil less than two weeks ago and iPad a month ago so this shouldn’t be happening but could be down to me pressing too hard or something. All in all I do love using this app and I’ve been able to power through my little nit picks!.Version: 1.1.4

✓ Artwork for PatienceI have the apple pen which I've discovered works better than most other pens I own. So I'm very pleased that it works with this app very well. This is a nice coloring program with a few vices. It would up the anti if you was able to have greater control on the density of the ink flow plus some additional brushes like for example crayons or textured paper to show water texture effects in the background. A lot of these coloring Apps state that they are free of charge, then charge high rates for additional coloring packs.
