✓ Lost saved patches & crackling sounds on upgradeI liked this once-very-cool app despite terrible UI/UX (at least on iPhone: horribly small menus and hard to use layout). But now I’m very sad to report that after upgrading my many custom patches were deleted without feedback, and even worse the sound now crackles with noise on touch. I've turned off 3D touch and tried other means to solve this with no luck. Since I’m here, let me note the built-in patches all have way too much reverb and delay, which is why I edited (and now lost forever) many custom patches. If the interface wasn’t so clunky and non-standard I would continue trying to fix the noise issue and get this app to work for me but it’s too much of a pain! For reference I have an iphone 7 with the latest iOS and latest app version. Also, I always contact the app developer if I have technical issues before leaving a bad review but could not locate contact info in the ugly help pages..Matthew szsVersion: 4.16.2

✓ Great controls! Expensive thoughThis app is really easy and fun to use. Very expressive surface. I like that you can set the notes/keys so that whatever you play will sound in harmony. I give it 3 stars though because it’s so dang expensive. I normally don’t like paying $25 for an app but I figured it would be worth it from the videos I watched. What I did not know was that I would have to keep shelling out $25+ for different instruments that are greyed out in the menu! If you want the whole set it would turn out to be something like $100+, that’s a bit ridiculous. Having this kind of product/price model really turns me off and I lost interest..Sbennett88Version: 5.915.7.3

✓ A very nice app “ruined” by Update v5.0WARNING: Do not update to v5.0 unless you intend to purchase the “new instruments”. If you do, you will repeatedly get pop up notices on the screen asking if you wish to purchase them. I don’t and the company have responded by saying it is not a “sales pitch”, but i believe it is. ✓ Laggy hard to use lots of pops ups n adsEditing my review note so im not as aggressive, app works fine as an auv3 its a little laggy, theres some discrepensies being theres alot of popups interupting workflow, the sounds imo arent the best and isnt what i was expecting for all the hype, but the fact theres paywalls behind every other preset im just gunna look for another app, and its not about the money just annoying to see comapnies try and trick you into thinking you need to spend 200$ for their in app purchases.LeaderAtreyuVersion: 5.963.1.1

✓ Great instrument but now way too fatI have had this app on my iPad for 4 years now and it was one of the prime reasons for getting an iPad for creating music. A superb sounding and playable instrument for any musician, whose rating from me, unfortunately has now gone down from 5 to 3 stars. Over the years it has put on a lot of weight and now clocks in at nearly a gigabyte in size, rising up to the largest instrument app on my iPad. With a number of other musical apps also getting too fat these days, sadly, it is getting very difficult to fit them all on a 64GB machine. With this app, I cannot think of any other reason for this huge size except for the fact that it now has these new GEO libraries and holds a number of these in the app itself. Unfortunately, there is no option for the user to offload all this stuff. Many of the presets now display a message inviting the user to pay £15 for a new GeoSWAM library, which is very annoying when browsing. This is precisely why I have deleted a number of other apps from my machine. I hope that I don't have to with this one. Please allow the user to offload these large libraries from this otherwise excellent app. I assure you that my rating will be raised back up to 5 once more..Sunburst335Version: 5.870.1

GeoShred works most of the time. If it is not working for you, we recommend you excersise some patience and retry later or contact GeoShred.
