Life Cycle - Track Your Time for Positive User Reviews

AwesomeIm a builder and use it on a daily basis to track hours at each job- so much quicker than having to diary everything..Version: 3.0.6

FaultyBeen using this app for years paying for the premium subscription service. Has been fantastic until now, App no longer works, no longer records information. Suspect issue with latest IOS update. App advises to restart phone, have restarted phone hard reset and soft reset and deleted and reinstalled app. Still does not work..Version: 3.1

Great ConceptI'm liking seeing my days broken down into activities and it is accurate in the most basic sense but having only had it for a month I still haven't found a practical application for it. If the app had practical tips on what to do with the data or used the information to set goals for activities such as time with family or exercise that would seal the deal for me..Version: 1.4.3

Great time saver! The Life Cycle app gives valuable insight into where I spend my time at an easy glance. It also helps me to accurately record time spent at different customer locations. Thanks for a great app!.Version: 3.2

Some issues but support came throughUPDATE- I contacted support. They told me to enable significant locations (which I already had), then they had me delete and reinstall the app- but I had to upgrade to premium first so I didn’t lose all my info. Anyway; it worked and it’s now tracking my locations seamlessly again. Only 4 stars since I had to pay to make the app work (there is a free trial though, so that’s something.) ——— Like others have said, this app used to work beautifully. But it doesn’t seem to work at all with iOS 15. I’m so disappointed!! I’ve used the app since late 2017 and it was really excellent up until just recently. Now I’m looking for alternatives as it doesn’t look like any support or updates will be coming..Version: 3.2.3

AwesomeThis is a great app for people that want to see where you are spending your time and adjusting your habits and making better use of your time.Version: 1.5.1

Helping me prioritiseReally enjoying using this app. I can see where I’m wasting time, and it’s already helped me increase my daily exercise..Version: 2.4

Super fun but not ideal for work-from-homeThis app is super cool! It’s really interesting to see your life mapped out and how you’re spending your time. The only problem is, for those of us that do most activities at home (especially during this pandemic) it has a big gap in its tracking ability. If you work out at home, work from home, especially working from home on different projects as a freelancer, or have different video chat meetings or appointments while at home, it would be awesome to have those activities tracked. Maybe it could access your screen time app or see what apps you are using to guess whether you are working, working out, or I could program it to know that when I open certain apps I’m working on certain things? At the very least, I think the easiest thing would be for it to access your calendar and cross-reference your location with what you had planned. That would be super neat..Version: 3.2.3

Must HaveKeeps track of everyday activities so you can see where every hour/ minute of the day went. Best app by far👌.Version: 3.2.5

Enjoying it!Love to see more of this. Probably best to develop an "exercise" app as well..Version: 1.7.0

Love the idea, but providing weird dataLoving the idea, but the app is showing weird locations I was at (like I was sleeping 2 suburbs away), and the times don't seem consistent with the actual reality. I've only been using for 3 days (after the 3 day data collection period), so hopefully it settles down and gets more accurate. But I still would highly recommend getting the app and trying it out for yourself as I might be an exception rather than the average, too early to say yet :).Version: 1.8.1

HelpfulThe insights are particularly helpful in seeing when I am overworking or not getting enough sleep. It's interesting to visually track what I do with my time..Version: 1.6.2

Awesome!I love seeing what I’ve been doing with my time and find this app is a great way to make the most of my time without spending hours at home and wasting it. I’ve used the app for over a year and it’s amazing to see the regular period reviews it gives - it’s a really nice way to relive the memories at the end of each week or month. Hope updates continue to come.Version: 3.1

GreatI love being able to see what I get up to with my time. It remembers where you’ve been and why which makes it easier and quicker to look through, and the different colours and pictures for different things really help separate your day/week/month into sections. Helps you to see how much time you spend at work, home or asleep and then averages it out as well. Also records your steps and lets you know when you’ve done more or less than your average. Great app!.Version: 2.0.0

Potentially useful, definitely interesting, but needs more options to be worth premium feesI highly recommend this app if you’re looking for a free chance to see snapshots of how your time is utilized on a large scale over time. I would like to see some more features incorporated to make this app truly great. Most importantly, I’d love to have the option of customizing which smaller activities will be rolled into commute/transportation activities. My ~1 hour at the the gym shouldn’t always get rolled in to my drive home from work. However, it makes perfect sense that stopping to pick the kids up from daycare or getting gas on the way is rolled in. I’d also like to see a larger selection of thumbnails for activities, as well as a total color palette option for activity icons. Conceptually, this is a great app, especially for being free. But, it needs some more polishing before I’ll purchase the premium service..Version: 2.3

When Locations are too closeDoes not identify correctly when locations are too close. My home is 4 minutes away from the Gym. However the location is always taken as Home..Version: 3.0.1

I like it but...It’s a dope app. It’s pretty good at tracking your day if your day is repetitive. As a over the road truck driver my day is far from repetitive, now the parts that are it logs effortlessly. Now to the but...so like when I stop at a truck stop and walk across the street to eat (breakfast, lunch, dinner) the tracker will not log the new entry. Now the app says it doesn’t log movement under 5 minutes (as to not log my every bathroom trip); but to stop and move as randomly as I do, I would imagine that the tracker would track this. If the truck stop has a place to eat and that’s where I’m staying the night, the process to log this information manually is setup for inaccurate logs. Now I’ve only been using for a month now maybe it hasn’t learned me enough yet to log in this fashion. Outside of that though I really like this app!!!.Version: 3.0.6

Great for tracking Work hoursStarted using this app about 4 weeks ago. Love it!!!!! It is great how it tracks all activities and everywhere you go and remembers when you have been there before. And it is fabulous for tracking the hours you have worked, daily, weekly and monthly. What I would like it to do is to be able to change the week start and end days to work in with a pay week rather than a calendar week. Do you think this is possible to add to your next update please ??😊.Version: 3.1

Waste of TimeDownloaded and paid for the full subscription . Waited a day or two to see what would happen. Despite claiming it doesn’t use gps everytime I log in it tells me to turn on gps. Today I woke up, left the house at 7am, commuted from Essex to London. Got in the office at 8am. Went to the west end for an hour. Just checked the app and according to that I have been at home all day. And to make matters worse according to the app my home is about 20 miles away from its actual location. What is the point in this. It doesn’t work. Hopeless..Version: 2.3

Personal AccountabilityIf you write down a goal "go to the gym every day" it logs automatically that you are there, and for how long. Imagine the possibilities. If you want to change your habits - this app will assist you. You can also leave notes for each event. If you are studying a degree, check how long you were in the library or out partying. Note to developers: it would be really cool if you could search your notes for key words you have entered, like "studying quantum physics" and then it gives you a summary of the amount of time, no. of days, the dates etc. Then email it to yourself as a .csv file like I can do with my bank accounts. Then I can review my time accounts. That would be worth 10 stars and no one could touch you if you had an annual fee..Version: 1.8.1

BrilliantGreat way to track your activity. It's accurate, gets better over time and works well with other health apps. Use it conjunction with their sleep app..Version: 1.6.2

HelpfulSuper handy for figuring out where I’m wasting time that could be better used to improve health or sleeping patterns.Version: 2.0.0

Great App to see where you time is spentGreat app but does need an update. It registers me going shopping at Tesco in the “today” donut and then next day it’s not there but added into “walk” this then affects the real data for how much time is spent on grocery shopping. Also there isn’t anyway you can feedback bugs like this to the developer. It’s also difficult to manually change parts of “walk” into “grocery” location data needs to be more accurate..Version: 3.1

Great for time trackingThe app is great, I’ve been using it for 6 months and I’m really liking it. One improvement would be to allow editing of all activities. Some activities are uneditable, like lunch and dinner and flights - it would be good if these could be merged, deleted or the names changed, it is frustrating that they’re unable to be changed/deleted. I’d like to be able to edit all activities. Other than that, it’s great..Version: 3.1

Use it all the time, butThis App complains when I switch off WiFi, but it is unable to tell if I am at home or across the road at the Shopping Centre (with WiFi on) - why can’t it use the WiFi info to work out where I really am (rather than blame my phone for getting the GPS wrong when indoors)?.Version: 3.2.3

More helpful than I expected! So I downloaded this app as I have the sleep cycle app. Was expecting a gimmick where it just gives me my step count for the day and I need to input all the data. What I have found instead is that once I have recorded a location once it remembers for future reference. It can be quite inciteful to see how your week is broken up and whether you are wasting time in anyway. The surprising perk for me though is that it tracks work me. I do a lot of travelling during the day for work and record my location and my time constantly. I've discovered that with this app I don't need to. It just runs in the background and I can recall all the data easily. Like I said it even remembers what I previously did at a place so compiles all of my work locations into one category. One thing that I recommend for an improvement is an export facility to a spreadsheet, would make my life even easier..Version: 2.1.1

Great AppReally helpful and gives me an insight to how and where I spend my time. I’d love to see the ability to change how the time is displayed. Something like 356hrs isn’t that easy to comprehend quickly. 14.8 days on the other hand would be a much more preferable counter for me. Hopefully they can implement something like this to make a good app even better..Version: 3.2.5

Amazing app in every wayThis is an amazing app that is very useful and gives a good insight to how you spend your time doing what. Even though you have to pay for premium to get some features, it still is very good and not littered with ads. One improvement that I wish this app had was if you could also have an option to add who you saw at each event during the day by and get insights on that too..Version: 3.1

Helps so much with keeping track of my lifeI am very forgetful and sometimes couldn’t tell you what I did last week. This app has helped me prove overtime from 6 months ago (been using for over a year) without missing out. I would be lost without this app..Version: 2.1.1

Good app, but adding integration with Apple automation would make it fantasticI’ve been using for an entire year now and consider it indispensable. I’ve setup categories to track my project work, use my iWatch fitness app to track different workouts, use the notes to annotate places I visit. The downside with the app has to do with the lack of integration with iPhone automation. There is no way to use automation to quickly log an Activity from my Home screen shortcut. Also, there is no easy way to automate filtering activities for a day and then say copy to the clipboard to create a status email. So, to get 5 stars, automation is a must criteria. One minor pet peeve, with COVID-19 and having to stay home, it’s very annoying to see the message that my location hasn’t changed. Duh! I’m staying home. Please have an option to disable the warnings!.Version: 3.1

Just the jobNo idea where these negative reviews are coming from, although some clearly expect the app to track things is doesn’t even claim to track ? I find it to be accurate (most of the time) and without a shadow of a doubt outperforms it’s competitors. Take into account the 1% battery drain, weekly summery and comparisons - it’s a must have app for me... well worth the premium membership. Going forward, would like to see a monthly summery (like the weekly option) and better / enhanced share options. But it’s fair to say, since I downloaded last summer the developers have updated and improved numerous times so hopeful of further enhancements..Version: 2.1

Simply the best time trackingSuch a great. So many time tracking apps are focused solely on what you’re doing, and force you to manually tell it what you’re doing and when. That doesn’t feel like time tracking at all. That feels like time waisting. This app does something pretty obvious, and it does it so well. It tracks your time based on location. You’re at work, that must mean you’re doing work, you’re driving somewhere that must mean you’re driving in a car. It makes assumptions for you based on what you do at different locations. If you work from home one day, just go in and tap the plus icon to change that home time to worked time. I’m sure they’re people who need to track projects and tasks at a much more micro level. But for me, getting info such as I normally eat lunch at a certain time on Tuesdays or the last time I was at a friends house or even that I got less sleep than I normally do is such a great value for money. I love that this app lets me look back easily on what I did and when I did it with very little work or effort. Great app that offers incredible insights..Version: 3.0.6

Great toolI’ve been using this app for several years and now with tracking my locations during COVID-19, it’s even more useful!.Version: 3.1

Good app. Shame it doesn’t work with iOS 13I have used this app for around 3 years and it’s been fine. After upgrading to iOS 13 it no longer recognises any place I visit. I get a message every time I open the app telling me the app hasn’t logged any visits and to restart my phone, I restarted my phone and it still doesn’t work! Come on life cycle, please sort it out I don’t have time to log all the visits manually. Please fix this..Version: 3.1

Very handy tool for work and playExcellent app - I’m an itinerant worker so I use this to track where I’ve been to help create my timesheet. Also, to find out where I was and what time I left the night before when I wake up and my memory is a bit fuzzy ;) Feature request!! - an option to not group together the same activities on the daily Pie chart, and rather show them by when they occurred in the day - this will make it faster for time tracking..Version: 3.2.3

Wow.. like wow 🤩🤩🤩If you don’t have this app, are you even doing life right?.Version: 3.2.3

Fun appI’ve been using this app since 2018 and I love it. Very fun app to look back at your habits and how see I used to spend time. It gets a bit annoying sometimes to fix the location or the activity but is very easy to do so..Version: 3.2.4

Nice!I’ve been using this app going on almost 3 full years (August will be the end of year 3), and I have to say it’s pretty legit! It’s not crazy fancy, and there aren’t so many bells and whistles that I don’t know what to do with it. It’s simple to understand, and once it gets your daily habits and rituals down it’s pretty self-sufficient. I don’t live an exciting life, so I don’t have to go in and update uncategorized locations very often, but even doing that is simple. All in all, if you’re interested in tracking where you go and what you do, and seeing your trends, I’d say get it! What can you lose? As a side note, I don’t have the sleep cycle app. I’ve used it, but I’m just bad at keeping a smart alarm set and/or near me, but I imagine using that could also be helpful for this app!.Version: 3.0.6

It’s a great app!!As I said, absolutely great app, but can you add dark mode please? I’m editing this as of the 10th of July. Whenever I try and open the app, it crashes within seconds of me tapping on the app.Version: 3.1

Does what it says on the box...And beautifully. Barely even registers on power consumption. Great little app to keep you aware of where your time goes.Version: 1.6

AwesomeVery well made app and practical. Good for entrepreneurs and for insights on our lives. I wish it is maintained and supported for a long time in the future..Version: 3.2.3

FascinatingI've tried manually keeping track of what I do, bu, frankly, who has the patience (not me!) even if they have the time. This app is beginning to give me some insight into where my time really goes & I've been using it less than a fortnight! It hasn't asked me a bunch of intrusive questions - lets face it, I've already bared my soul to my phone 🤦🏻‍♀️ It asks permission to access that info, then for times where it's not clear where I was/what I was probably doing I have the option of filling in the grey question mark chunk with details. A brilliant little app - and yes, I have kept it running from the moment I installed it & have not noticed any real change in my battery life. Awesome job developers 🏅.Version: 3.0.6

Excellent way to evaluate & rethink your time spentI had begun using their other app, sleep cycle, shorty after acquiring my iWatch. Having recently changed careers, and entering a much more physically demanding field, I found myself short on a few things; most importantly TIME and SLEEP. While Sleep Cycle really helped me nail down a few problem areas in my night time habits, Life Cycle allowed me to see where I was spending most of my waking time, and plan out a better way about to help reign in my night time habits and, hopefully, gain a better night’s sleep because of it! It’s quite circular, and they help each other help me understand my habits. I used Sleep Cycle for about a week before purchasing the year subscription. I’m glad I was able to help fund a good developer, especially for something with genuine values. Also, while it’s not always 100% accurate (multitude of reasons, many or most of which are out of control of the devs) it’s a great tool for tracking time spent on different jobs or just overall hours worked that week. I don’t use it for billing, we’re a bit more stringent on that, but for calculating or guesstimating my weeks pay it works remarkably well also! Exceptionally useful app! Can’t wait to see what else is implemented into both Life and Sleep Cycle - as well as whatever they choose to launch next! Great job devs, these two apps are nearly essential for me anymore! -Steven H..Version: 3.2.3

Great but can still be improvedI love this app, I've been working two jobs over the summer and it's helped me keep track of how many hours I've been working and how much time I've spent driving or sitting at home. There are still a few areas that can be improved however. The weekly view would be way better if it updated each day instead of at the end of every week. The statistics can sometimes be really stupid, it'll tell me I've slept 6% more on a Sunday or something like that, who gives a crap about 6%? it's tiny. I think it would also be a good idea for there to be a map that shows your daily activities like the google maps timeline. Lastly I think it should track the routes you take each day. Update: After recent updates the weekly view now gets updated automatically, the statistics are much better, but I really think the map showing your activities would be a really good idea. I also think that the donut should be more like a timeline, in order, rather than chunks of different activities throughout your day..Version: 2.0.2

Only one recommendationI like the app a lot but my biggest complaint is the inability to combine activities. For example, if I’m home, I often have friends over and that time won’t be logged as with friends with will be logged as home. I think we should be able to combine activities rather than I have to manually put the activity in. Other than that, I like the app in general. Update: I also remembered I get annoyed when I visit work for non-work reasons (I work at a grocery store and movie theater so sometimes I’m shopping or seeing a movie) and it’s just logged as work because of the location. I don’t know to manually change that and it messes up my work hours..Version: 3.2.4

Love itAmazing app, minimal battery consumption and keeps track of where and when you are. One recommendation would be a timer so at locations you can set a start / finish time for different activities, such as working from home..Version: 1.8

Great app, one change would help it be 5 starsSo my only issue with this app popped up last week when I wanted to migrate my information to a new phone. Every other app allows you to log in first, but this app made me wait 3 days whilst it got used to my movements BEFORE it would let me log in and restore from back-up. I know 3 days doesn’t sound that much, but I love tracking everything with the app so 3 days of having to remember what to put in was a little annoying, and definitely considering in my opinion there should be an easy log in, then a ‘restore from back-up?’ yes or no prompt.Version: 3.2.3

Excellent Life TrackerReally helps you to know your own activities throughout the week. It's also very battery friendly as well as data..Version: 1.5.0

Was a good appHow sad. The app has not posted on twitter since 2017 and I cannot send them an email. I liked the app but now it has stopped recording my activities. I hope another app comes along to replace.Version: 3.2.3

Useful and attractive tool!Sleep Cycle introduced me to Life Cycle. I’ve only been for a month and some, so I’m not comfortable to give a full evaluation. But I find the breakdown presentation of how my daily, weekly, monthly (and yearly) activities very useful. It is another perspective which helps me to time manage and plan more insightfully. Could the developers please tell me if/how I can edit activity colours once I’ve created them? Many thanks..Version: 3.2.5

Great concept, but has flaws in some casesThis app is great — it does a great job of giving you insight into how you spend your time. However, it gets things pretty wrong if you uninstall it and then reinstall weeks or months later and restore from a backup. In this case, it will think that you were at the last location constantly during those weeks or months, messing up your statistics. It seems like it should have an option for “no data” for this time period..Version: 3.0.5

Very helpful appHelp me track time and everything! Helpful!.Version: 1.6.2

Position gpsErreur de positionnement entre mon domicile et mon centre de yoga à un coin de rue de chez moi. Peut indiquer que je suis à la maison alors que je suis au yoga..Version: 3.2.5

Even free it’s greatDon’t expect something it’s not. It just tracks your daily life. It is lovely. I get to see my commute times. What I do. Keep it nice and tidy. If I pay a small fee I can even see trends and historical data. One day? Two weeks? The data isn’t much. But one year? Two years? Five years? The amount of my own data I could use and see would be outstanding. Put it like this, anyone who tracks their steps, their sleep, or their workouts, anyone who has a smart watch that costs more than $60, anyone who has an Oura ring or similar, and anyone who tracks their daily calories in a food logging app, this app is for you. It has pretty numbers. I like pretty numbers..Version: 3.2.3

Love this app, still a little issue.I have been using this app for a long time now, and just recently there has been an issue with it recognising WiFi connection. This new version is supposed to rectify the issue, but it’s still there..Version: 3.0.3

Not overly impressedI have downloaded, deleted and re-downloaded this app so many times in the hope that it has improved. Sadly not. Doesn’t register some of the places I go. Doesn’t count steps correctly even though I’ve connected the app to the health app so data should sync between the two. Certainly wouldn’t pay £9.49 for such an inconsistent app.. Shame as the sister sleep app is brilliant so had high hopes for this one.Version: 2.0.2

FantasticAmazing app, loving it. Only disappointed it only syncs with sleep cycle if you buy premium subscriptions to both. Would be amazing if it connected to a mood tracker like daylio too. Otherwise absolutely fantastic..Version: 1.5.1

App does not work iOS 13App does not work on ios13. It was working fine before. Restarted device multiple times as instructed but still nothing.. please fix Update: app has been fixed..Version: 3.1

HelpfulIt's super interesting to track your time and where you spend it. It is also very motivating to try and get more steps in your day..Version: 1.7.0

Been using this for yearsIncredible data that this app can collect. Wish you could unlock the premium charts for a one off fee because there's not enough to do here to justify a subscription payment..Version: 3.2.5

Great for information junkiesI love it. It's really interesting to see what you spend a bulk of your time doing.Version: 1.5.1

Great app to see where you are each day/week/monthI love how I can see what I have done and for how long, although it is frustrating that only one sleep app can be connected as I find using two I get better accuracy. I’d love to be able to log the things I am doing at certain places too, like at home the particular activities I’m doing. I look forward to replacing my Fitbit so I get a better accuracy of steps too as I don’t always have my phone on me. Apart from that, I really love this app!.Version: 3.1

TrackingJust because of Life Cycle, I've been able to track my sleep accurately and been having a good night sleep since I got this app. I can always look back and see how many hours I've slept and what my average sleep time is. Not only you can track your sleep, but it tracks te steps, the time I've been at school and home and many more!! Love this app!!!!😜😂.Version: 1.8.1

Work Great Assuming You Put in WorkI've used this app all across the world for years. It works great, assuming you take the time to double-check it. After you tell it the place and the activity, it will believe that's what you are doing every time you go to that area. Sometimes you are doing something different in that same area, so you must change that entry. There is no way for your phone to know that you are doing something different. Also, keep your locations generic. For example, when you go to the airport, don’t track every gate. Just label the entry airport. Over time this creates a better tracking experience..Version: 3.2.3

ReviewA very practical application,.Version: 3.2.3

Fun to useInteresting to see where all your time goes..Version: 1.6

Great for stats on lifeI love seeing the classifications of what I'm doing and the app is great for billing and timing of activities. I like the percentage stats comparing between periods - it helps to see trends. Great app and quite useful.Version: 1.6.1

RoyThis app just gets better and better. Tracks my time in and out of work, which is great as I often forget to book extra hours worked. As it adding data all the time, I look forward to it becoming the control centre for my phone. Love it. Just a note It would be a useful addition to add mileage to the travel time. I’m sure business users would find that very useful. Thanks again for fresh and well throughout app..Version: 2.4

Love the app, but could use a little workThis app is great in that I am able to reference how much time I spend in certain places. It’s fairly intuitive in how it assumes the activity you are doing at a particular place, however the locations could be more accurate; I end up having to manually edit the the entry because it would get the location and activity wrong. Seems to be a wide proximity. Also, it misses a lot of quick stops I make, but would still like to have kept track of (even though it’s less than 5 min). A nice feature would be if it could tell you how many steps were taken for/at each activity/location. Overall a very useful app with the potential to be ideal (for my needs)..Version: 3.0.6

Great App But Could Use Some Improvements!I mostly use it to keep track of my time spent doing things because I have a terrible memory, and it works really well... For the most part. I have spotty reception at my work and it’s also a fairly large facility, so often times my tracked work day times will be a mess that I have to fix manually almost every day. I understand that this is mostly reception and gps, and the fact there’s no wifi there, but perhaps if I could just set a large area to be “Work” and whenever I’m there it just sets it as that. Also sometimes it completely ignores commutes to work or home, sometimes just adding to my “work” or under “transportation.” I can’t directly change or add commute times either, which is a pain. Overall a solid app, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to keep track of their day to day business. Ps I have to agree with another review that the pricing is a little on the high side for what it is!.Version: 1.8.1

I beg you, make this IFTTT compatible!Life cycle is astonishing, in every way it is precise, reliable to track how much time you've spent and where was it, giving you valuable insights on your routine, and even what you do out of it. The app does a stellar job at automatically tracking you're activities during the day, being it commuting to work, having lunch or just a walk around, it's pinpoint accurate. With that being said, I truly believe in all the potential this app still has to be explored, in terms of what we can make of the data it has. That is where the IFTTT integrations could be explored, while life cycle accounts for the data, IFTTT, could make actions based on them, like telling me that I can't stay for more than an hour at my lunch restaurant or telling my friends I am commuting to work, there are countless possibilities. I love your app and all the work you've put in to it can't keep track of how many times I've shown it around, thank you for reading this far on my review and suggestions(if anyone had) and have a nice day! Yours sincerely, A satisfied customer..Version: 1.8.1

Organize your day! This app has really helped me keep track of my daily life. I also like that you can take notes on the different categories on your donut. I gave it 4 stars because I would like to be able to classify the section with more than one activity. Example: I go to the gym, and I use my Apple Watch to track my cardio workouts. But at the end of the day I’ll checkout my day on the app and it has 2 different section for my gym workout. It would be awesome if I could classify the activity as the gym then maybe have a subcategory to specify the workout that was done. If this happens i will be happy to update my review to 5 stars because this app deserves it!.Version: 3.0.5

I generally like itIt’s pretty handy to have, to remind you where you’ve been. Sometimes though it doesn’t track my walks, like it’ll show as me being at a specific shop but I’m really walking half a mile away. Plus it’s limited to only taking steps data from Apple Health, so because I have a Fitbit and not an Apple Watch my steps data is WAY out. I wish it could retrieve steps data from Fitbit..Version: 3.2.5

Was good. Now glitchy. Now fixed. This app used to be good and I could match my payslips to my work shifts. Now it doesn’t record anywhere that I go which is pretty much the whole point of the app. It says to restart the phone and I’ve done that. My settings are correct, the app is glitchy. Update: still has a few glitches not registering where I’ve been but they are a lot rarer now. So working much better now. I reviewed my review and raised the stars. Kudos to the devs for the improvement..Version: 3.2.5

Great even with glitchesGlitches sometimes but good app overall.Version: 3.1

Great for work site trackingWhen i travel to different job sites, i'm meant to track my time there, but i often forget. But...with this app, after i've put in all my locations it'll log it for me :).Version: 1.8.1

The app you didn’t even know you neededI downloaded this app not really sure I would end up keeping it, but after trying it out, it’s super interesting. It logs all your locations and activities and makes sense of them. Then daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, gives you insight on the locations and activities you’ve spent your time on. It’s cool to see that new restaurants and places you visit are automatically logged. I kept showing it off to my boyfriend every now and then until he finally made me download it to his phone too. I like how there is plenty to do without a premium subscription but premium does give you more specific insight and statistics which are cool. I almost always have a suggestion when reviewing apps but I really can’t think of one. They even have an Apple Watch app!.Version: 3.0.5

Subscriber feedback:Love everything about this app! Reminds me how much time I’ve spent on a certain activity per day and calculates my commute time. I can easily take a look at with the pie chart with everything I’ve done per day. One improvement would be to have the ability to “edit” activity names as activities can be more or less generalized in a category. Then it would be perfect..Version: 3.0.4

Amazing App to track you lifeBeing self employed in a reactive job I was struggling to find an app that tracked my day to day activities without additional input or time from me. This app does exactly that, I just do my thing and open the app at the end of the week to see a detail breakdown of what I’ve been doing. The only thing that would be amazing to see is the ability to export the data to iCal so that I can look back to see where I have been at certain times other than that amazing and looking forward to seeing my photos integrate at the end of the week. Brilliant job guys I’m telling all my friends as your reading this now.Version: 3.0.5

My life in a colourful circtacular donutI love this app. It's colourful organised and I can flick back through the days to see if I've been a workaholic or a coffeeholic. It's not always 100% accurate with location but I use it mostly to see how my days are evenly balanced with work, rest and play..Version: 1.8.1

Highly recommendedI’ve been using this for 12 months now and find it fascinating. I know how much more I’m working than I’m paid for and how much time I spend taxiing the children or caring for my dad. Requires setting up locations and activities along the way but it’s really simple to use. I’ve given it 4 stars as I don’t wholly understand the additional benefits of the paid membership over the free one - maybe a little unfair. Yep - have changed it to 5 stars! Well done life cycle.Version: 3.0.5

Feature requestI really like this app since it’s interesting to see where your time goes. One feature request I have to add ability to tag people inside activities. For example, I go to dinner with my friends. I want to be able to say who was at that dinner. And then see a breakdown of how much time I spend with a particular person if I tap their name. I currently create a category with a person’s name, but that doesn’t work if there’s multiple people at an activity. Basically, I not only want to see what and how much time I spend on activities, I also want to see who I am doing activities with and how much time I’m spending with individual people..Version: 3.0.6

Really Awesome, Very Helpful for MeI absolutely adore this app. I told a couple friends about it and they love it, too. Some people I’ve talked to think it’s creepy that I use an app that tracks my every move, but I’m the only one with access to this information and it doesn’t use my locations and activities to give me those “targeted ads” you see on Facebook and Google. I have a really bad memory, and for a long time it bothered me that I couldn’t remember what I did or where I went on a certain day. This app solves that problem for me and I honestly think it’s the most useful app I’ve ever had. Now I can easily access dates of Doctor’s appointments, weekend trips, events, and other things that are important for me to know. I like to add notes to describe what I did when I was at a certain location or doing a certain activity like hanging out with my friends - that way I can go back whenever I want and reminisce about a really fun night that I had, even if I’d forgotten about it..Version: 2.1.1

Good but improvements requiredI walk most lunch times but is not picked up by this app. The block Is obviously near my work but doesn’t reflect. Perhaps ability to link exercise apps like Fitbit could be good. Also one site should allow multiple entries with split times e.g hair dresser clothes shopping and supermarket grocery shop..Version: 2.3

A must have app!!I have had this app since I started college and work, I really enjoy knowing we’re and when I spend most of my time. It is useful to know how long you have been working for or how long you have been sleeping for. If your looking for an app to organise yourself and prioritise your time this is a great app to do so.Version: 3.2.3

“Sticky” Location Bug with iOS15Since updating to iOS15, sometimes the app doesn’t notice changes in location. Please don’t tell me to restart my phone because that doesn’t work. Nor does flipping the significant locations switch off/on. Sometimes I’ll drive across town and it’ll still say I’m at my previous location (at the new location). There’s no current way to force the app to refresh its location info, so if it’s stuck, it’ll stay in the wrong place until you move again, sometimes twice, which is just impractical. Like I said, it’s only been a problem since the iOS15 update. Before that it’s been spectacular. Used the app for 3 years now and love it. Devs, please take note and do some spring cleaning! Not worth the subscription if it’s not going to work properly..Version: 3.2.3

Great app but could improveProvides accountability, location and activity diary. A search and goto function would be provide great usability of the app (eg when was I here last year? Or when did I last do this activity?) Able to jump back to those days and review would be so memorable!.Version: 2.0.2

Perfect for a data nerdI love being able to see what I've been up to and how much time I spend doing certain things or in certain places. More graphs have been added also comparing different things. Been using about 2 months and still love it. Although woul be nice to change some things such as commute and travel as when it gets confused I can't change it to be correct..Version: 2.0.2

Fantastic if you love dataIf you want to look at a bunch of graphs that tell you to sleep more, get this app. It's brilliant if you keep it going for one month, by then you'll know if you like it of not. In my opinion, it's great!.Version: 1.2.3

Great appHelps me to analyse where I spend my time, and how I can become more effective and active..Version: 1.8

Needs a few upgradesI have been using this app for as long as I can remember and I love it. But I’m ready for some upgrades. We need more colour options and more icon options for activities or at least the ability to insert your own..Version: 3.2.5

Not working. Please updateThe app has not correctly been tracking my location even when I delete the app and redownload it doesn’t recognise location change..Version: 2.0.2

Amazing!I honestly love this app so much! I am a person who likes to be organised and keep track of everything I do, so this app is perfect for me. It tracks where you go and how long you spend there, and you can enter in details about what you were doing. I usually have to be connected to wifi for it to update, but aside from that, I would HIGHLY recommend this app! ❤️.Version: 1.4.2

Great for Time ManagementThis app is great for developing time management. It lets me see how I’ve used my time each day so I can set goals and improve. I do a lot of things at home, so I have to enter most of my activities manually, but this app is still way more convenient than the way I was trying to keep track of my time before. (With paper and pen!) One feature that would be great to add would be the ability to categorize activities for the weekly, monthly, and yearly charts. That way there could be a 6-hour block for meals on the main weekly donut, which could be expanded to view the breakfast, lunch, and dinner divisions. This would make it easier to view the weekly donut at a glance and determine where my time was going. Thank you for taking this into consideration!.Version: 3.0.6

Great, but needs some polishingI’ve been paying for this app since 2019, and I use it a lot. I love it so much. It gets so much right and is a fantastic way to log lots of my life. Because I’ve used it for so long, I’ve picked up on some problems. This is a wish list of changes: some Apple Fitness categories, such as dancing, show up as “(null)” in the app; it’s not possible to delete some of the default categories; the app glitched and created other (null) categories that can’t be removed (and they are not from Apple Fitness or Health); the step calculation rarely matches what’s in Fitness or Health; you can’t search for any notes; clicking an activity only shows the number of visits for the current calendar year but I’d like to see it for other times; it struggles to register a location if I haven’t been there for at least 10 minutes and if I don’t connect to Wifi there; if it doesn’t record you were at a place, it’s almost impossible to add it later because the location search works only from where you currently are or around a location it’s marked before..Version: 3.2.5

Absolutely LOVE this appThis app is amazing, I love being able to see just how much time I spend at different locations, sometime they can be off a little, but it’s easy enough to update them. Think it’s brilliant how you have the sleep cycle linked so that it automatically updates. Love being able to create new activities, I just wish you were able to delete the preset ones, a lot of them I don’t use and never plan on using them, but I can’t get rid of them, this is my only negative which had made me drop one star, if you could delete them I’d happily change this to 5 stars!!!.Version: 3.0.6

Awesome app. It's invisible until you want it.As another user mentions. No evidence of battery usage, yet it's alert enough to be very accurate. Great idea, I'm loving it!!.Version: 1.5.1

Good app just needs more customisingWhen I go to the complex where both the supermarket, stationery shop and cafes etc are it’s difficult to select which shop(s) I visited as often I’ll go to more than one..Version: 2.0.2

Love it, but...I do love LifeCycle, and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. However, I have just discovered an annoyance that I hope they can undo when they next update it. It has started categorising things I do between finishing work and coming home as part of my “home commute”. I’ve tried manually changing it, but no luck - it’s quite determined that after-work drinks with friends is part of my commute. And then the monthly update tells me I’ve spent longer than usual commuting... actually I’ve spent longer than usual socialising. But thanks for making my life sound less interesting than it really is. Ugh! In my mind, if it isn’t some form of transport (walk, cycle, bus, car, train...) it’s not commuting. At the very least I should be able to manually extract an activity. Please fix this as otherwise I am really happy with this app..Version: 2.4

Great alternate use for people who work on-site!This app initially intrigued me for its intended purpose of visualizing where you spend your time, but I quickly fell in love with it for another reason. At the end of the day I can check this app to get a general idea of when I arrived at and left a client site if I neglected to otherwise write that down. I will also occasionally sweep back over a few days in the app checking locations and find a place where I had forgotten I needed to bill for a client visit. I’ve even gone back over a day reassembling my path from place to place to derive where I left a coat. Because of how I’ve come to use this app I wish there were a view that showed sequentially where you went in a given day, perhaps as an option to make the pie graph render like a wall clock instead of consolidating all instances of work and home together. Otherwise I love this app and happily did the in-app purchase thing since it has helped me recoup a ton of otherwise unaccounted billable time since I started using it last December..Version: 2.0.1

Amazing. Recommended to many people. This app does everything for you. Just leave it running in the background and it'll show you where you're spending your time and with who. Very impressive..Version: 1.8.1

Amazing & Handy AppSuch an efficient and helpful app. Really easy to use, navigate and enter locations, notes etc. It’s been such a great app in helping me to keep track of my time, as well as review my days/weeks/months to look at my lifestyle patterns, see where I can make changes and see where areas of my life can be improved or are working well for me. It’s also really handy to have as a reference to look back on where you were/what I was doing on a certain day when I can’t remember exact dates or important info. I highly recommend it!.Version: 3.2.1

Great app - needs more features!I absolutely love the app and find it so easy to use and insightful. I have several jobs and it would be useful to be able to have more than one “work” category, that tracks all work commutes. That way I wouldn’t have to just use the one default work category for 3 different jobs and could tell them all apart with different colours etc. but they would still count as work in my weekly/monthly reviews..Version: 3.0.6

Love itFun and good to know what you spend time on.Version: 1.8.1

Great appI have been using this app for many years to track my work and activities, and have found it very useful. I would love to see good Apple Shortcuts integration so that some non location based activities (such as working from home) can be triggered and logged by Apple’s focus modes..Version: 3.2.3

Love itI use this on a daily basis to track my work commitments. The number of times something has happened and I want to track what I did or was and on what particular day. Brilliant! Tonight however it’s going on a cycle need Facebook to log it, then shuts down.Version: 3.0.1

Including Screen timeKia ora! I love using this app but could you please include ios screen time in it too. It shows that i was at home for 5 hours but I think it would be good if it could show me how much time I spent on my phone in a day. Thanks :).Version: 3.2.5

On its way to greatnessThis is really good. Some issues with inaccurate guessing but given it’s almost like some kind of magical tracking thing that somehow guesses and breaks down what you’re up to I think its unreasonable to expect it’ll get it right 100%. But it gets it right well enough to be useful and also I’m sure it’ll continue to be improved. Just hope they’re not selling the data to Cambridge Analytica or whoever has taken their place now :).Version: 3.0.6

Amazing! The best app for life logging!A big thank you to the makers of this app! They really listen to their users and created an incredible tool for effortless journaling and life logging that is an absolute joy to use and respects your privacy and ownership of your data. I’ve been a user of their SleepCycle app for 6 years and I’m going to be a loyal LifeCycle user for many years to come. Keep up the good work!.Version: 2.1

AmazingGreat app! I would just like to be able to edit the time activities right down to the minute, not down to the 5 minutes.Version: 1.3

GREAT app until…I loved using this app back in the days where we actually went places to work, study or entertain ourselves. Now we do all of that in one single place: home. And it’s probably going to stay the same especially with smart cities and the Metaverse coming. I would be curious to know what future you see for this app 🧐.Version: 3.2.3

Long Time UserA great app to give a fascinating insight to where your time is spent over the years. I’ve been using this app since 2017 and seeing trends change over time without putting much input in is great! I would like to see a few updates to make things even better. A global view of your visited places would be a cool start!.Version: 3.2.3

FantasticLove being able to see how my life is flowing and to make changes where necessary.Version: 2.0.0

App decided to ignore a regular locationI love this app, it has been an excellent way to keep track of my disparate work activities and locations. However, it has randomly stopped recognising my work office. It happened in the middle of my last visit and now isn’t recognising it at all. I tried rebooting my phone. I can manually put it in, but this is really unhelpful as this short 4 minute drive doesn’t even get picked up by the app, even though it’s a mile away. Any suggestions please?.Version: 3.2.5

Great insight into my lifestyle!I don’t often write app reviews, just tick the star rating and move on! But this app is one that has made quite an impact of my work/life balance and my activity levels. Such a simple idea, but oh so well implemented! Pie charts for days or weeks or month (even years, although I haven’t got any full years yet!), give an easy, quick glance, understanding of what takes up most of your time. Monthly reviews help you to understand new trends, good or bad, in your activity, and so, make changes accordingly. Love it! Love it! Love it!.Version: 3.2

Good appI love this app to let me know where I have been and for how long, I only have one problem with it and it’s that when I go to the shops near me and I’m there for 5-10 minutes and then go home it will state that I am still there hours later ie the middle of the night when I’m at home in bed. But I still give it a 5* review as it’s accurate 90% of the time.Version: 3.2.3

I love this appIf you’re looking to understand how you spend your time, this app is for you! I use this to help identify where I can re-allocate my time; want to read more? How much time do you commute..? How much time do you really spend with family, friends and st work. It’s fun to know how time is spent :).Version: 3.0.5

Great appMakes planning easier!.Version: 1.4.4

Eye openingThis is a great app and lets you see exactly how much time you're spending doing what. It's amazing to see how much time you spend doing certain activities, or even how much time you spend at home - allowing you to plan to do more with that time. Excellent all round, bar the subscription for premium, I'd rather pay a one off £5 or something.Version: 1.8.1

Great app but disappointed my data was lostI really love life cycle but I was so disappointed that when I got a new phone my data was not moved across and that was 2 years worth of data gone. As I had an account I presumed the data would be moved across once I’d signed in on my new phone but this only happens with premiere membership. I did make a premiere account afterwards which cost me £10 but it was too late at this point..Version: 3.1

Love it!I have found it so interesting to see where I spend most of my day/week/month, and love being able to look back and know where I was on any given day. It's great accountability, as well as a great geographical diary!.Version: 1.8.1

Really interesting and cleverTracks everything without you having to do anything. Linked with Sleep Cycle, this is brilliant..Version: 1.7.0

Great appGives you stats on how your weeks, months changer from one to the next. Gives you a sense for how you’re going with sleep. Who you’re spending more time with or less time with. Excellent for mental health to see if that the things I’m doing are attributed to the outcome of your overall health..Version: 3.2.1

IOS13 doesn’t workThis app is no good with iOS13. Doesn’t receive any location data. Makes it useless. If the devs don’t fix this within the week it’ll be adios..Version: 3.1

Great appWorks good and is visually appealing while staying simplistic. My only complaint is that there is no widget. I would loooove if you guys could add a feature to include that.Version: 3.2.5

The cycle of my life in a day👍🏼👍🏼How can I put it? I like it!!!😊👍🏼. If it doesn't know where you went it let's you put that place in with the color you pick and post of shapes like weights if you where exercising some place it could place in. This help me know how long it take me to go to work and back home and how long it is as I'm at work. You guy's that put this App. together I like a lot!!!😊😊😊😊😊I say anything more then I enjoy this App.!!😉👍🏼😉👍🏼what can I say I just think it's the "BEST APP. OUT!!" If any one wants to know how long it take them to get from point A to point B in a time frame on this day it helps! Get it helps!!🏆 All I can say again is this App. RULES!!!😉😃👏🏼👏🏼.Version: 2.0.0

Good but room for improvementI’ve used this app for almost two years, it’s great for monitoring where I go and what I do. A couple of suggestions for improvement: 1. Ability to change the day your week starts on 2. YTD and MTD tracking - currently you can only see july’s data after the end of the month. I’d like to see what I’ve been doing part way through the month as well. Same goes for a year. 3. In the summary reports, and graphs many metrics are shown on a monthly basis (eg number of hours worked/month), but with months having different numbers of days/working days this is a bit meaningless and would be better presented by week so you can see real trends 4. I find that the app will sometimes retrospectively change a days data which I don’t notice until the end of a week 5. It would be great to have a timer to log different activities, particularly when you do different things at a single location (eg working from home). Currently you have to add these retrospectively..Version: 3.1

Very good, but...While it is very useful, most of the time some of the time stamps can be wrong and it doesn’t always pick up what it is you where doing at the time. But I don’t mind that much....Version: 3.0.6

PLEASE add a colour wheelI would love if a colour picker tool was added so we can have a custom pick of unlimited colours instead of just the default ones!.Version: 3.2.5

What’s gone wrong!5 * as I Love this App and have used it for about 9 months and recommended it to everyone I know! Also use on my Dads phone - he has dementia and it helps me to track where he has been when he goes for his walks. But... since updating to iPhone 13.1.2 location services will not work, tried restarting phone, removing app and downloading again, backing up / restoring - nothing is working! Devastated as I love this app - can anyone help me?.Version: 3.1

'Time Travel' with a difference!Great to get an overview of a day a week and what will soon be a month and a year. This tool is good for trouble shooting time wasting activities and keeping you effective so your time is spent where it's most important 👍.Version: 1.7.0
