✓ Good but have noticed inconsistenciesI bought this app as a means to help me refresh in a language I learned a few years ago. Mostly it has been a great tool, but there are a few issues I’ve noticed. First, in some of the lessons the audio doesn’t match the text provided. Second, some of the grammar lessons are incorrect. For instance, i just finished a grammar lesson that I think was supposed to help with conjugation of simple past (in audio) but the text choices are actually present perfect. ✓ Good but slightly tarnishedI have the same gripes as most of the other reviews; occasionally the text doesn’t match the voice, and sometimes the translation of the word is trying to directly translate to English as opposed to what the word actually means. Example in Norwegian: “Hvordan har du det?”, which means “How are you?”. When you click on “har” it translates it as “are” even though it is actually the verb “have”. It’s very useful but somewhat unpolished which prevents me from leaving a five star rating.Slartibartfast123338221Version: 7.1.13

The first 7 lessons called “Hello” do not have audio to hear the spoken words. Sometimes the recorded voice does not match the written text. ✓ Great appI really love this app and I’m currently using it to learn Persian but there is a mistake in almost every lesson, most times the sound doesn’t match the translation or they’ll write a word but when they say it it’s another word. It’s annoying because you don’t get the full points and also… it’s confusing for those who aren’t able to decipher the mistakes as a beginner. ✓ Errors?There are sometimes some mistake , I believe with the word written and what is being said for example lesson 3 in core vocabulary. The word understand seems wrong? I purchased the Premium package in May of this year and have until May 2018! This is not good. I wrote to support. Zero response. No phone number. No way to communicate with them. Ugh! Any help is appreciated. Update- I did hear back from ioana and they fixed the issue right away. I wish they had a support as well as subscription option in the app itself. ✓ Best Persian Language Learning AppSo far this is the best language learning app I have come across for Persian in nearly ten years of searching. Some of the more famous ones don’t have Persian unfortunately. But this one is well worth the money to get the full version. There is sometimes minor errors where the spoken word doesn’t match the written word on the screen. Typically two different words presented that mean the same thing. But the mismatch can be confusing. Also some of the verb conjugation pop ups show the wrong verb. I suppose these can be fixed in future version. It doesn’t teach the alphabet, but it does offer the ability to use the persian alphabet. Also, as far as I’ve seen, it doesn’t make a distinction between polite and formal. Not sure if it’s just the dialect in Tehran, but ‘minousham’ can be replaced with ‘mekhoram’ in more casual situations. ✓ Watch Out Duolingo!!Not only does Mondly offer languages that Duolingo does not, the app also teaches in a way that nearly makes you forget you’re learning by gradually shifting from your native language to the target language throughout exercises! I am very much a fan of the teaching methods employed as they drastically reduce the perceived difference between learning/practicing and testing in the learn-practice-test model, thereby putting the focus nearly entirely on the learning and practicing of new words and grammar, which I’ve found keeps me in the flow of learning quite a bit more than other language learning apps.
